When booking we thought we were going to be on a tour of villages outside Geneva and we would see and be told about the countryside along the way but instead it was just an expensive form of transportation to one vineyard. Thank goodness the winemaker was a delight sharing the process for wine making and his love of the wine. We tasted several nice wines while there.

Disappointing experience

The tour was disappointing as we only visited 1 vineyard, and we tasted around 5-6 wines which we were all quite ordinary / cheap bottles. Also the explanation was done by an intern at the vineyard who didn't speak any English (so our tuk tuk driver had to translate). Also she wasn't very knowledgeable, so we relied mostly on the tuk tuk driver's knowledge around wine and the region to get some insights. The drive to the vineyard was around 1h going and 1hr coming back. The ride over was nice and the scenery is beautiful. Also our tuk tuk driver was really nice and told us some interesting stories on the way over. I feel this tour operator offers too many different experiences (fondue, wine, aperitivo, etc) with their tuktuk that they may lose a bit of the specialisation of the wine tours. Also for this price I expect to visit multiple vineyards and taste higher quality wine. Also to stop on the way over to take pictures at the vineyards and to be trained to do this All in all would not recommend...

Yanick was our guide and he was awesome!!! We had a little mishap in the beginning of our trip and he stepped up and saved the day!! He took us on a beautiful country ride and found us a sunflower field to sit and have wine. He became a friend fast!! Would recommend them to anyone!

We were disappointed in...

We were disappointed in the trip. Kind of expected a guide that took us down the vineyards, telling us about all the wines the grow, do some tastings meanwhile. Instead it was a taxi trip to a winery and we had some wines to taste at the winery. Not worth the money. The lady at the winery was nice though!

So much fun taking a tuk-tuk ride through the town and small villages on the way to the vineyard. Amazing wine tasting experience, and amazing scenery!
