The tour was great! It was one of the few (if not the only one) tour, which gives you an opportunity to explore the Fes’s Medina, and the sights outside of it. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour lasted more than the promised 6 hours even though we skipped the lunch. Highly recommend!

Ok, but more like a shopping trip with a guide.

It was ok. Rather than a tour of the Medina, this should’ve marketed as a shopping stop at all the local craftsmans. They pack so much into the Medina, I felt like we were rushed from place to place. After the quick stops at the school and museum, we rushed from shop to shop, with high pressure salesmen at each. The biggest disappointment was lunch. We were dropped off for an “authentic” Moroccan lunch and stepped into a restaurant solely filled with tour groups. The food was bland and overpriced, and we had to sit there for an hour until our guide came back for us The restaurant tried to claim they didn’t take credit cards, and only after insisting we didn’t have any more cash, the credit card machine miraculously started working. We would have much preferred to eat all the street food that looked so amazing in the alleys. When we were out of cash (never made it to an ATM, even after asking our guide to take us to one) our guide asked if we could skip the metalwork area since we had no more money to spend. So I guess the tour is over when you’re out of money. The drive afterwards was fine. We saw some pretty look out points and the ceramic studio was really cool to see, but we could have done that on our own. I will say both guides were very nice, I just think this tour wasn’t what we were expecting. We thought it would be a local person sharing their city with us and taking us to local hidden gem spots that we wouldn’t be able to find on our own.

Great walking tour of Fes

We really enjoyed this trip - our guide, Rachid, was born in the Medina and expertly guided us around. We saw the oldest mosque, medresa, the blue gate, and various other old features of the medina as well as all the buildings and shops. We had the opportunity to say which shopping opportunities we did not want to bother with - for us ceramics and rug making were things we had seen before - and found the tannery interesting. After a stop for a late lunch we were picked up by the owner of the company for the short drive out to see the ramparts and views of Fes. I’d highly recommend this tour if you’ve never visited Fes before. There are other places to visit in Fes that you don’t need a guide for- Dar Batha museum of Islamic Arts and Jnan Sbil gardens which we saved for our second day in the city.

My husband and I went to Fes last week and we took a VIP Tour at Fes through Bekben Travel. We meet brother Adil who was our old medina tour guide. It was really an amazing experience touring with him. He shared a lot of historical knowledge and made us feel like we are home. He not only gave us the old medina tour but also helped us shopping. I must say he has great bargaining skills. Also, we had the new medina (city) tour with brother Hamzah who also, took us to different historical places and shared great historical knowledge. We will surely contact them for our next tour in Morocco.

Overall we had a great time because Fes Medina and outskirts is exquisite. We got to see many things which we wouldn’t have without a tour. The walking tour with Yassin was good and informative. The transport car was really nice. We would have given this company a 5 star, but there were a few things that could have been better! The tour includes bottled water, but we were not given any water bottles. We just drove past the blue gate instead of given a chance to step out to click pics. And lastly, we wanted to see a Riad and have a warm tea at the end of our trip. They recommended and dropped us off at a great 5star place with views, and told us it would be easy to find taxi when we were ready to leave. Unfortunately, we waited around for 45 minutes in cold. Many taxies passed, but they wouldn’t take us, until one finally did. Maybe not recommend a remote place like that. Good communication via whatsapp/Viator at the beginning of the tour when we were running 15mins behind.

Since you already had a large bottle with you and did not ask for more, the driver did not want to disturb you. We apologize if this was unclear. • Blue Gate stop You did not request a photo stop during the tour, and when we passed by the Blue Gate, we slowed down so you could see it. Unfortunately, we cannot stop for more than a few minutes, as parking is not allowed and it is a very busy area. Safe stopping is not always possible by car. • End of the tour We completed the full-day tour with you. At the end, you wished to see a riad and enjoy a warm tea, so we recommended a beautiful place with great views. Please note that after the tour ends, we are allowed to bring you back to your hotel, but we cannot wait while guests have drinks, as this is not included in the tour service. • Taxi issue As you mentioned, many taxis passed by, but they refused to take the ride, which is something completely beyond our control. We enjoyed this in-depth tour with Yassin. He was very informative with great deal of knowledge about Fez and Medina. He went extra mile to help us with additional activities for booking Hammam and waited for us. It was late, So he took us to Morrocan restaurant and arranged a driver to take us back to hotel. He also organized another pickup for few of us to pick them up from hotel and bring them to restaurant. We had 3 drivers due to large 8 people group. Hamza, Karim, and Abdel helped us along the way. I was also amazed with Manager coming to greet us at hotel for morning pickup. Yassin went extra mile to take us to the different shops where we wanted to buy carpet. I would strongly recommend the Bekben Travel local company.

We’ve recently been traveling through Morocco and made our way to Fez where we booked a VIP Tour of Fez with Bekben Travel. Mr. Yassine served as our tour guide and we could not be happier with the experience. Mr. Yassine was super knowledgeable, funny and patient with all the questions we had during the tour. He made sure to provide plenty of historical information while also referencing current day situations throughout the Medina. He took his time and made sure to check in with us to ensure we were having a good time. He even offered to take a few great pictures for us in front of the Blue Gate. Also, Mr. Hamza was amazing to work with and even helped us coordinate our transportation from our Riad in the Medina to the airport at 3 IN THE MORNING!!!!! Both of these guys were truly wonderful and made for a great experience. We highly recommend them to anyone coming to Fez.

Did this tour today with the wonderful guide Mr Yasmin. This was a walking tour throughout the city and famous landmarks. Mr Yasmin was very polite, friendly and full of knowledge of the whole Medina. Did everything on the list. Mr Yasmin was also very helpful as my husband was not well and helped me find a pharmacy. Extremely flexible and excellent communication. I stayed in touch from the first day I booked the tour till the day I actually did the tour. While I booked them because I thought their description was offering the most places, they still asked for a list of my place of interest and Yassine made sure I saw everything without rushing me through anything. I also asked them ti arrange for a volubilis trip and they arranged for that as well. This is a very responsible and receptive travel company. Book with confidence.

Highly recommended, we had two guides, Yassin covered the walking tour of the Medina, and Hamza the drive around town and the tour of the ramparts. The walking tour with Yassin was super informative and we were able to skip some parts that he recommended but we weren't interested in. Very professional, polite and just an overall great person! Hamza drove us around in style for the attractions outside the Medina, he was also great and the car was luxurious. Both guides spoke excellent English. If given the option, we would recommend doing the Medina tour in the morning, before it gets too hot and crowded.

Amazing experience! So much culture and history! Beware: It is a very long tour, but Yassine was very patient with us and very knowledgeable. I do wished he walked a bit slower as sometimes we were far behind him trying to keep up. He helped us with the haggling and tailored the tour to the site we wanted to see. Note, some of these activities would require a different guide at the location but no tipping required. The company itself was very flexible with us changing the tour date due to flight cancellation. Such a great experience we booked the company the next day to transport us to the airport.

Fantastic day in Fez

This is a full and wonderful day out. Our guide Mr. Yassin met us at our riad and led the way. He was easy to contact, knowledgeable, friendly and speaks English very well. Fez medina has over 9000 streets and the assistance of a good guide is essential. We saw all the major sites and toured the workshops and met some of the craftsmen. There are opportunities to make purchases but absolutely zero pressure to buy. We finished the day with a car tour outside of the medina, just as advertised. We can highly recommend this tour and our guide. So much we eouldn't have seen without assistance

Exceptional experience with professional driver and guide! We couldn't have asked for a better overview tour of Fez. Amine ensured that we were able to see what makes Fez truly unique while guiding us through the many narrow streets of the medina, despite our tour taking place on a Friday when most of the markets close early in the day. It would be so easy to get lost in there! We were able to see most of the highlights in this one day tour including all of the different crafts that are popular in Fez. The shops that we stopped in offered a demonstration of the craft with some of the lightest sales pressure we experienced during our trip to Morocco. Would highly recommend if you only have a day in Fez!

This tour was UNBELIEVABLE!! It couldn’t have been better. Mr. Ahmed was, without a doubt, the best tour guide we could have wished for. Extremely kind and professional, he showed us the best spots in Fes, introduced us to amazing people and taught us a lot about Moroccan and Islamic culture. Wouldn’t trust anyone else to show us around! As for Mr. Hazam, there are no words that can express our gratitude towards him. Apart from taking us around Fes, he was our big support during our trip. He offered to help us after the tour in everything we needed and this proved to be invaluable, as we ran into a bit of trouble and had to go see a doctor. Without him, we would have been lost. We are so grateful we met him and for sure we have gained a friend here.

Our tour was wonderful. Me and my partner (lgbt) felt welcome with the guide Adil, who took us through the medina. He is a local of Fez and knew everything very well, for the best sights, and even gave tips that helped a lot in guiding the medina. Also took us to shops of the main crafts of Fez (wood, bronze, leather, silver, perfume) where we told the stories with much attention and there was no pressure for shopping.
