I had an incredible experience exploring the Fes Medina with Mouchine. From start to finish, they were exceptionally attentive to my pace and needs, ensuring i felt comfortable navigating the winding, historic streets.
What truly set this tour apart was the Mouchine's deep knowledge. He provided a rich, detailed look into the history and culture of the city, moving beyond simple facts to explain the nuances of the different ways of life within the Medina walls. Whether we were discussing ancient architecture or modern daily traditions, their explanations were clear, engaging, and insightful.
If you are looking for a guide who is both helpful and truly passionate about sharing the soul of Fes, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He made the history of the city come alive!

We very lucky to have Youssef as our guide.. he showed us a lot of hidden gems and trully went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable about the local culture history. Really appreciate him spending even more time than our tour duration. Highlight of the trip was the ceramic place he took us to. Amazing workshmanship of moroccan fine are. Our brief visit to Fez would have been incomplete without this tour. Thank you Youssef, a 10 star if possible!

Half-day private trip was booked more the one month before the trip. On the time of trip a guide didn't come. I tried to call to the company bet phone is always busy, I wrote a mail but no reply. I definitely can not recommend this activity.

I am solo traveler and was looking for a private tour because I didn’t want to be in the en masse group tours. Most private tours have a 2-person minimum or solo surcharge equivalent but this one didn’t have that. Abdul, my guide, came punctually to meet me at my riad which was just on outskirts of the Medina. He showed me around all the notable sites within the Medina as well as the various artisanal crafts areas. He also referred me to a great luncheon place and hammam nearby after our tour. Abdul speaks many languages and is very knowledgeable about Fès. Also because it was a private tour I could pick the time and with early start at 9am, it was nice to be able to navigate the narrow alleyways with relative ease and quiet for an hour or two before the crowds started appearing.

If you're looking for a great tour, look no further! I can't say enough good things about Abdul and this tour. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about all things Fez. I learned a lot, drank some tea and took a lot of grey photos on this tour. Thank you so much for making my first day on Morocco a memorable one!

Abdul was extremely knowledgeable about Fez and guided us through the Medina maze effortlessly. Took us to drink some delicious local tea and suggested us a nice spot for lunch.
I know this is more of Viator requiring us to stop at shops and have the shop pitch a sale. Honestly, it's a waste of time for both parties. I would rather pay more to skip the shops. Yes, you can bargain down but everything still felt overpriced. It's a continuous "no thanks" until they finally let us go.

Abdul was absolutely lovely, he went above and beyond to show us different aspects of the life in the medina, bought us traditional bread and fruit, and even recommended a nice restaurant for us to eat after. We had a great experience!

It is an amazing experience for our family having this tour with Yusef. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about Fes, so we could explore all the key highlights of Fes in about 4 hour. Love Fes a bit more than Marrakesh, as we can see more of local people's daily life alongside tourist attractions. We did even try the snail soup, goat yoghurt and Fes grilled meat hamburgers from the fresh market in the Medina. Very excited to see alleys that you have to try to squeeze through but leads to gorgeous and beautiful craft workshops for carpets, tanneries, etc. Highly recommend to book this tour and with Yusef!!

Our guide Adil is a very patient, kind and knowledgeable person. He took my friend and I to all the best spots in Fez for history notes and handicrafts, told us about the history architecture and waited patiently while we bargained to buy souvenirs, helped us carry some of our loads and also took amazing pictures of us. Highly recommend.

We had this tour today and really enjoyed our guide. He was very positive and made us feel like we were his good friends. My husband was not feeling well, so we skipped many historical sites, but we still loved the tour. Our guide recommended a great restaurant, and we had an amazing authentic dinner. Best tour in Fes, highly recommended!

We had the best day with our tour guide, Adil. He picked us up from our hotel and we walked at a leisurely pace and had ample time to take photos and do some local shopping which was important to us. Adil was thoughtful, considerate and very flexible to our needs. We wanted to do some additional activities such as get henna which he brought us to as well. He was very knowledgeable and we had a real, authentic experience from a local. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Adil for future tours within Fes. We have enjoyed so much that we will be doing another tour with him in a few days outside of the medina. Thanks so much!!

Ussam was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable, friendly, spoke excellent English. (Although he speaks 8 different languages!!!) He was a delight to walk with. It was so interesting visiting the Fez medina. We were picked up from our hotel at 9.30 and returned at 2.30pm, by Mohammad our driver. Ussam showed us so many things and explained it very well, with there being almost 10,000 streets in the medina he knew exactly where he was taking us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a guide. We had a fabulous time. Only bit that we didn't expect but should have, was the opportunity to buy carpets, leather goods, scarfs etc however Ussam helped us navigate the bartering system well and we certainly didn't buy in all of the places, we said no to lots and yes to 1 or 2. Just be sure of yourself if you wish to buy or not, don't feel pressured, walk away.
All in all, it was a fabulous time with a great guide. We'd totally commend him.

If you have only one day in Fes, the only practical way to move around is with a guide, as the medina is extremely labyrinthine and difficult to navigate alone.
I would suggest booking this tour only for this reason but this half-day tour of Fes unfortunately did not meet our expectations.
Some important sites listed in the itinerary were skipped (Bab Boujloud, Cherratin Medersa, Place R’cif).
Much of the time was spent visiting leather, herbs, and textiles shops.
The included tea break was never offered.
On the positive side, the guide picked us up at our riad and was flexible with the meeting time.
Overall, not the cultural experience we expected — perhaps the quality depends heavily on the guide you are assigned.

We booked a private walking tour of Fes with Hisham. He picked us up at our Riad right on time. He showed us around the Medina, highlighting all the most important sights. He is both knowledgeable and passionate about the city and its history. We went to the tanneries, visited an incredible artisanal carpet makers cooperative, experienced religious and historical sites, and shared some delicious street food. He also advised us of the places to visit on our own time and made restaurant recommendations. I would advise any visitor to Fes to book a tour with Hashim!

This was the best tour we experienced during our time in Morocco! Our guide took us everywhere we wanted to go (Medina, tanneries, historic sites), got us a perfect table on a beautiful rooftop terrace for lunch, assisted us with purchasing our dream Moroccan rug, and even helped me book a traditional hammam experience. He had fantastic connections around the city and kept us feeling safe, informed, and having fun! Book this tour you won’t regret it!

We have imad as our local guide, trip is great! Fes Medina is such a maze, so many small alley, we are glad that we find a local guide. imad is knowledgeable and show us tannery, madresa and a lot handcrafted shop, that was nice to see! no mandatory shopping. At the end of trip, we went to hamma, imad help with pick up and drop off service to our Riad, we really appreciate it

Hicham was such a great guide! He met me on time and took me all over the Medina. His English is perfect. He grew up in the Medina and studied abroad. He is very knowledgeable about everything. He spent so much time with me, more than I expected, and was so kind. He took me to many craft areas that were not typical. I learned a lot.I recommend him very very highly.
