Great (rainy) day trip to Chefchaouhen

We had a wonderful day trip to Chefchaouen, made truly special by our guide and driver, Younes. From the moment we set off, his hospitality stood out — he was friendly, thoughtful, and generous in sharing personal stories and insights about Morocco, which made the journey feel authentic and engaging rather than just a standard tour. Even with heavy rain along the way, Younes’ driving skills were excellent and made the 8-hour round trip feel like a breeze. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. His professionalism and calm confidence, especially in challenging weather, made this a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this tour.

This private tour through viator was done by omega tours.Salim who was polite,professional, again was the driver and since I was alone,they provided me a guide Mustafa in the amazing blue city.the 8 hr roundtrip was comfortable in aircon van with rest stop.Lunch was fabulous in a little cafe.Going through medina was winding,great photo oportunities,a great guide though being a senior and the heat took the wind out of me.great experience in my bucket list.
