Tour description inaccurate

The tour description said nothing about >180 stairs to reach the fort, 2 people in our party weren't able to complete the entire tour because of the stairs and amount of walking. We have used Viator for multiple tours for several years and requested a refund for 2, not the entire group of 4, Viator refused, extremely disappointed. Our tour guide was wonderful and expressed her concern that the description did not mention the number of stairs and the amount of walking involved.

Hello Vicki_H, We're sorry your experience didn't fully meet your expectation. You did book the walking tour and the tour description mentions that includes the fort so climbing is somewhat expected. Also, the whole Dubrovnik involves many stairs , so if you go off the main streets, you'll encounter quite a few steps. Our family has been looking forward to this tour for almost a year. The pressure was on….but Roko, our tour guide did not disappoint . Wonderfully organized, and eloquently given— all expectations met! Roko provided all the Game of thrones info , but also some local stories and history.

Our guide was amazing - was making the experience fun and interactive. We loved the Shame stairs. And having the scenes to go along with the sites made it all relatable. The only thing that went wrong is that we ended up with just the GOT tour, had to do Lokrum by ourselves.!

My wife and I did this excursion during our honeymoon in Croatia. It was one of our favorite moments in Dubrovnik. Our guide was phenomenal - very personable, and having acted as an extra on Game of Thrones was very knowledgeable. It felt like you were spending the day with a super-fan, not just a tour guide. Our guide also taught us a lot of the history of Dubrovnik outside of Game of Thrones. The trip to Lokrum Island is a huge plus - make sure to bring a bathing suit and spend some time after the tour is over! Highly recommend!

Just wish I could have gone to the neighbor island that has the gardens. Weather prohibited it so I just took another boat and went around the island on my own.

Our tour guide was very kind, had good English, and was very knowledgeable about game of thrones. Not only was she able to tell us about the show and behind the scenes, she also told us how Dubrovnik's local people welcomed the show. It was very interesting. The tour also gave us an opportunity to go Lokrum island at a slightly cheaper price since we were in a large group. We would not have probably gone had it not been for the tour.

Dubrovnik GOT tour

An outstanding day in Dubrovnik and Lokrum Island ( photo op there with the Iron Throne). Our guide was fantastic and showed us filming locations along with photos from the show. Really great to see where Joffrey met his maker, where they filmed the Walk of Shame and so much more. The view of old Dubrovnik from the fort at one location is breathtaking. The ferry ride to Lokrum Island where more scenes were filmed was incredible -the beautiful color of the Adriatic Sea is indescribable, just so blue! This was a jam packed tour and everything about it was perfect. Book this - you will love it.
