The sunset was beautiful even though it rained just before we left. The skipper and crew were very personable and seemed to enjoy the experience as much as their passengers. Thank you for a lovely evening

Lovely but don't use viator to book

I always book with viator so was very disappointed that I could of booked this for €20 at the dock. Secondly arrived 20 mins early told to come back in 20 minutes. Went back to desk after 10 nobody there. 10 minutes later she telephoned me asking where I was. I told her exactly where you told me to be. She said well I am waiting at the boat!. She then had to explained where she was. The trip itself was nice, the boat lovely. Its just not worth the money viator charged. I feel that charging €14 over the actual price €28 in total is wrong and has put me off using them

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, but we must clarify a few important points. The tour you mention for 20 € is not our tour! That is a different company offering a 45-minute ride without drinks, snacks, or hosting, only a skipper driving the boat. Our Sunset Cruise is a experience with drinks, snacks, attentive crew, and a longer route, which you yourself noted was “nice” on a “lovely boat.” Regarding the boarding: you arrived early, before the boat was even in port. As Dubrovnik’s Old Town port is a small and regulated marina, boats cannot stay docked and must only stop briefly to embark guests. This is why you were kindly asked to return when the boat arrived. Additionally, we always call our guests to make sure everyone boards smoothly, which is exactly what happened in your case. Finally, our price is the same whether you book through Viator or directly at our desk, there is no difference, and you would have been convinced that this was the case if you had only asked and checked. What you saw on another sign was an advertisement for a different company’s shorter and non-inclusive tour. We are glad you enjoyed the cruise itself, the boat, and the service, as that is exactly what our team works hard for every evening. However, we find it unfair and disappointing that you left such a low rating based on a misunderstanding about a completely different company’s tour, when your own experience with us was positive.

Very comfortable boat with soft cushions, pleasant ride. Beautiful music throughout the sailing, champagne and tasty dried fruits added the romantic atmosphere. 2 guys that guided these tour were handsome, kind and made us felt safe and happy. They even took photos of our company of 4. Very memorable. And sunset- picturesque views.

NOT As Advertised

Unfortunately, this was not as advertised. Originally, our tour was scheduled for 7pm, and then a message came through saying it was a 6pm cruise. This had us scrambling to get there quickly, only to have the operator say it will go out at 7pm. This caused our group a lot of stress. We had also booked a catamaran boat because we thought it would be more stable and not cause motion sickness. Turns out the boat was a regular hulled boat that rocked and rolled. Did not expect this experience to be so bad, given the previous reviews. Nothing worse than not getting the experience you paid for. Sad.

We totally get how timing changes can be a bit of a scramble, but just to clarify: your original booking was made back in May for a June cruise. Back in May, the sunset cruise departure time was indeed 6 PM because the sun set earlier then. Since sunset time shifts with the season, a few days before your trip we kindly informed you that the cruise would start at 7 PM to catch the golden hour perfectly. So you were given the updated info well in advance. As for the boat - we are proud of our spacious, fully equipped boat with a cool air-conditioned salon downstairs and a lovely open upper deck. Guests can choose their favorite spot, whether they like shade or sun. We aim to provide the most comfortable and enjoyable experience possible! We hope you still got to enjoy some beautiful moments on the water despite the waves doing their thing. And if you ever decide to join us again, we’d be happy to have you aboard.

Not as advertised- awaiting Viator to help resolve

Do not take this trip if you want a catamaran cruise- this is NOT a catamaran The tour operators did not help us resolve our expectations, as we paid more for this boat- expecting a catamaran Also, was only 70 min, not 90 minutes Very disappointing

Epic failure but do not be put off

Missing the boat as they told me to look for a catamaran, to be fair the port was in chaos due to a sport event, They tried to call me but my phone was in the safe - it’s a holiday , should have used my wife’s number my bad They tried really hard to help, but couldn’t and have actioned a full refund , we did try to find their stall when we got there early but failed as was not so clearly marked , name tucked up under a shelf , had I been 5 feet tall I’d have spotted it They have fully refunded us to be fair it was a bit 50/50 so hats off to them Gutted to have missed it , booked a similar trip for our last night I saw the boat as it pulled out of port it looked awesome Don’t be put off They seemed and acted like good decent people ,the young lady once we found her really tried to help all she could Tonight the operator has my wife’s number and I’ll make damn sure to find their stall

The best sunset cruise ever!

Our captain was great!! He took us out and gave us history of the coast and island . Then, for the sun set - he took us all the way around to watch it set perfectly between the distance hills! They served plenty of champagne and lots of beautiful fruit! They were so friendly and took great care and took as many pictures!

Good fun - lots of cheap champagne but wine and water was the only other option

The crew were fabulous and provided lots of information about Dubrovnik. We had a great group of people on our tour. The bubbles were flowing and lots of laughter. The boat is not a catamaran as stated in the advertising. The tour operator said they have not had a catamaran for 2 years. Suggest updating the info with pics of the boat. We were lucky and our boat was quite open - the other boat was very enclosed.

Boat operator canceled on us 30 minutes before our tour saying it was bad weather when it was absolutely beautiful. We asked to go the next evening and they said no it would be bad weather then as well. So we had to book with a different vendor who said there were absolutely no weather issues.

Great experience, easy pick up followed by champagne and drinks. The boat tour is the right length with a nice romantic mixture of classical and harp music intermixed with some interesting facts about Dubrovnik. We didn’t have the best day for a sunset but we still got lots of amazing pictures of the Dubrovnik walls from the sea. Highly recommend as a couple looking for something to do before dinner in old town.
