Picked up at the time specified for a great trip. Stopped for a swim at the blue cave (snorkels and life jackets available if wanted) followed by 3 island stops. Lunch at the Captain's house was really enjoyable. Everyone on one table tucking into the food and drink provided. Great hospitality onboard the boat. Lovely mix of people to chat with.

Canceled tour with no notice

Tour operator cancelled last minute due to weather and there was no bad weather and other boats were going out. Totally almost ruined my trip. Thankfully I was able to get on another boat to enjoy the islands.

Great day

A great full day! Each island stop was the perfect amount of time! The lunch was huge! This trip was so worth the price we paid!

Trip was great despite bad communication

Paul_R, Jun 2024
Once we got on the boat, the trip was wonderful. Despite some problems -- mostly my fault -- each stop was a joy. I would recommend this trip to anyone. The biggest problem BY FAR was the lack of information on how to get to the boat used on this trip. 1) I selected "Katrina Rooms" for my meeting place, with a start at 8:15. Their response showed the address of that lodging, along with a map correctly showing its location. However, this place is located on a pedestrian walkway, with no direct access by car. We never received specific directions on what would happen at that place at about 8:15. Would a car drive close, with the driver walking to us, and then drive us there? Would someone meet us there, after which we would all walk to the boat? We were never told. At 8:20, we knew we had to walk ourselves to the dock area, so we did so. 2) We were told to go to Obala stjepana Radia 13, 2000 which we were able to locate on a map. With rapid walking, we got there by 8:40, meaning five minutes before scheduled departure. However, there was NOTHING at the port area indicating which boat or berth was the one to get on. No sign. No flag. No person with an ID shirt. So how were we to know where to go? 3) In a near-panic, I found a boat with the Katarina Cruise ID on it, and tried to ask where we might find OUR boat. The one person who could understand our problem sent us to another boat with Katarina Cruise ID, and a person sent us to the loading area. It would have been very easy to create a sign at that spot simply saying "Elaphite Islands Cruise." The swim to the Blue Cave was beyond my swimming ability -- I've not swam in choppy seas in many years -- but I foolishly tried anyway. My mistake, and I own it. But it would have helped if a safety lecture had preceded the arrival, with emphasis on need for snorkel equipment. Providing emergency life vests, along with instructions on how to react to emergencies, would have saved me some worry. Lopud Island has Sunj Beach, 1500 meters from the town. The map states it is a 20 minute walk, the guide said it was 15 minutes. I take five-day backpack trips through the backcountry for fun, and it took me 20 minutes to get there while walking at my maximum pace. There is no way a typical walker could get there in 15 minutes without running. With all these problems, why do I give a 4-star rating? Because the time at each stop was absolutely wonderful! It was the highlight of our three week trip! If simple improvements could be made in communicating what to expect, 5-star would not be high enough.

Nothing open in April.

Ship captain and first mate both worked really hard and the lunch was delicious, so I dislike to give the review like this, but this tour should not be offered before May 1st (we went at the end of the first week of April)! None of the Islands had anything open and basically wasted our day. I'm sure this is nice during the peak season, but when you don't put a warning, it leaves quite a bitter taste in your mouth. I can confidently speak for everyone on this boating trip... staff was very nice but it shouldn't be offered at this time.

En la descripción de la experiencia decía que el la comida podríamos degustar el prosciutto local el queso artesano y también tendríamos café, todo esto fue substituido por unos mejillones,. Deberían cambiar la descripción
