What are people saying about Dubrovnik

What a great tour of...
What a great tour of Dubrovnik. The walking tour of the old city was very informative and the guide was excellent. Her knowledge of the history of Dubrovnik was exceptional. Our driver Niko was excellent taking us to many different sightseeing locations. We were the only Australians on the tour and Horizon supplied a separate driver(Niko) that could speak English. I can thoroughly recommend Horizon’s tour of Dubrovnik. There was some confusion regarding pickup location but this was sorted promptly without fuss.

Excellent and Enjoyable Tour with Nera!!!
My husband is not someone who enjoys group tours. He gets antsy and would prefer to discover things on his own. But Nera is an AMAZING tour guide, and so interesting and passionate about her city! As a result, my husband and I both had a great time on this tour. I didn't want it to end! Dubrovnik is a beautiful city with such a fascinating history. We both LOVED this tour and our time in Dubrovnik! Thank you, Nera!

Walking Tours and Kayak.
The tour of the walls was outstanding. Our Guide for both tours, Goran, was knowledgeable, funny and had several anecdotes that he shared throughout. We really were getting the inside scoop.
Highly recommend Dubrovnik Walks. The instructions to find them were great.

Private Montenegro Day Trip from Dubrovnik
We had a wonderful and full day in Montenegro. Our guide/driver was Milko and he was fabulous. He got off the main road in Croatia and took a secondary, less traveled road to avoid the back up at the border crossing. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of both Croatia and Montenegro. He went above and beyond to personalize our trip based on our desires. We stopped at a wonderful restaurant on the way to Perast. We enjoyed walking around Kotor. Milko took us high above the Bay of Kotor for a panoramic view/photo op. Before heading back to Dubrovnik we stopped at Savina Winery for a wine tasting experience. We highly recommend this tour and our guide Milko.

Trip to Bosnia with Mostar and the Falls
It was a wonderful day. Beautiful places and our driver, Stephan, was absolutely great. Besides great driving he gave a history lesson in the areas we were visiting and tips on what to do. He was funny and nice. Just the perfect person for such a long day
Also , Ken, our local guide in Mostar was equally as great. He gave a perfect tour and commentary in his hometown, Mistar. All in all a perfect day Highly recommend it 👍

Absolutely worth booking
Only slight negative comment was that Viator stated the start point was the local booking agent's office. We were lucky that we contacted the tour guide on the morning and she told us that the start was at the Pile Gate.
Ivana was brilliant - such a "Throney" herself she was so knowledgeable but also found time to throw in some history of Croatia and Dubrovnik.
The tour only lasted about 2 hours but the price did include entry to the city walls which you can do in your own time at the end.
Overall highly recommended

Good tour with lots included in ticket.
Met our guide Elvis just outside Pile Gate and was easy to find holding a sign. We first walked up to the cable car with some history about the walls and waterways. Great views from the top of the cable car! On the return Elvis gave us a walking tour of the old town with its history and points of interest. He was great, friendly and knowledgeable! The city walls part is self guided and easy to find the access points which Elvis also pointed out. My ticket also included museums which were also interesting. Oh and try the orange ice cream (recommended by Elvis!) it was delicious!

Jelena is amazing, the tour is absolutely worth it!
This was the first time we took a guided tour and I was worried about being in a huge group or getting bored, but oh my goodness - worries were unfounded. It was an absolutely amazing tour and within a short time I learned so much more about Dubrovnik that I would have gleamed from a guidebook. Our tour guide, Jelena, was funny and engaging and just all around lovely. 10000% recommended! And in late April, we only had 7 people on the tour and it was perfect.

My family thoroughly...
My family thoroughly enjoyed the day trip, which was perfectly organised. It was very easy to find the meeting point in the morning. The minibus was comfortable, and we were accompanied by a guide who gave us a detailed history of the country & its culture. In Mostar, we were met by another guide who did a great job of showing us around the city. We were given the option to explore a historic house, which I would definitely recommend. There was plenty of free time to shop in the bazaar, and get lunch. The stop at the waterfall was also very nice, a good break in the journey that offered the chance to stretch your legs and take in some beautiful scenery.

Lovely day out
A lot of the excursions advertised seemed to concentrate on the drinks, loud music and diving off the boat to swim. Nothing wrong with that for those that it appeals to, however I'm in my 60s and that does not appeal.
Not and overly large boat, with maybe 20 people on it including three crew.
Well organised and informative in terms of where we were going and what each island offered.
The food was particularly good, and we were regularly asked if we wanted a drink, including soft drinks and wine.
Highly recommend.

Plenty of time for...
Plenty of time for swimming on the islands, which was fantastic - the water was lovely.
Would advise to be brave and go into the cave as it’s worth seeing - despite the water being a little chilly to begin with!
Lunch was plentiful, however the wine was a little questionable 😂

Gabriel was delightful
I had a brilliant time on the tour it had a great balance on time alone versus structured tour. Customs speed was amazing thankfully this happens when in a very small group. Gabriel made sure everyone was comfortable and kept us knowledgeable about everything we needed to know on the way. He is an excellent guide and if you get him you will be delighted. Can’t wait to return to Croatia and do more tours next holiday.

Dubrovnik’s ancient limestone-paved streets can feel like a labyrinth, especially for first-time visitors—but that doesn’t mean you have to get lost. Dubrovnik city tours can help you get your bearings while teaching you more about the city’s long history. Most tours occur in the UNESCO-listed Old Town, home to attractions like the Dubrovnik Cathedral, Rector’s Palace, and the Onofrio Fountain. Opt for a walking tour through winding alleyways, a tuk-tuk tour to quiet vista points, or even a Game of Thrones-themed tour that takes you to filming locations of the hit HBO series.
