This is a great tour to see more of the countryside and relax. Compared to the other tours we were on, this one wasn't rushing you or giving you a set time limit to get back to the bus. We took the rail to Avoca, where you can enjoy the coastal views. We switched to a bus for short ride where you see how scarves, blankets, etc. are made. That was really cool to see, but it's pretty expensive so we didn't purchase anything. We had lunch at a local pub, which was good. We made a quick stop at a beautiful river and then continued on to the mountain. The lake was one of the most beautiful things I've seen. We then did a walking trail to a monestary. Overall, the trip was a slower pace than others which was nice because we were beat from all the other walking we did. Paddy was our guide and he was fantastic. He talked to everyone in the group and shared some interesting stories. If you have a really good camera, bring it!

Let me start by saying I probably picked the wrong tour; that's my fault. I must admit that it was a little boring though. I brought my family with me and we were the youngest on the tour. I think the tour was more targeted and appropriate for mature adults travelling without children. My kids (11, 13) were bored.
The hike in the mountains was fun and the sights along the Dublin bay train ride were picturesque. However, it was a little slow paced for my style. The guide was nice, the coach was comfortable, and everything was well coordinated.

Company cancelled the trip at the 12th hour, running our day. Wish they could have let us know sooner .They sent an email the afternoon brbefo, but when traveling, we don't always get the emails daily .

Saw so much of rural Ireland in one tour. It was nice to get the train as well. The guide could tell us a lot about everything. Definitely recommend!

Paddy has a great host and did a wonderful job. From the moment we met him at Connolly Station we knew we were in good hands. He was very pleasant, attentive and showed us a good time from Dublin to Wicklow and back again. Couldn't resist shopping in AVOCA and taking 100s of photos of the lovely countryside. A great day.

Lovely opportunity to get a small taste of Ireland's countryside. Glendalough was amazing in spite of rain. Paddy, our guide, was cheerful, flexible and well informed.

Absolutely the best tour and tour guide we could ask for in Ireland. The whole tour far exceeded our expectations.

Very beautiful area with views of the Lakes and a visit to a working wool mill and Glendalough was full of history, The rail tour was great and the tour host was very informative and was great.

I had a lot of fun on this tour. Paddy was a really good tour guide. He told us interesting stories, and made sure everybody in the group was included , no one was left behind. The train ride along the coast line was beautiful and the bus tour in the country side was wonderful. I would do this tour al over again.
Thanks Paddy

This tour was very nice. Good to see other parts of Ireland than Dublin. Our guide, Paddy, had a lot of knowledge to share with us along the way.

Great guide really tried to show us everything possible. Everything was very well organized for our small group.

A wonderful experience. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Even when public transportation through us a curve he was calm and efficiently rerouted the tour group. The tour itself was amazing. We're big fans of Ballykissangel and it was a treat to see Avoca and have lunch in Fitzgerald's Pub. We highly recommend this tour.

This was a delightful train ,bus and dart train ride. To see beautiful countryside of Wicklow co. We went to Avoca wearers, and Glennenough monsetary . It was a little long and I would of spent less time eating at the resturant at the end of the trip.

Loved this tour. Paddy was a delight. The only thing I would have changed was more time at Glendalough the lake itself. So beautiful!

Very nice tour with friendly guide...you get to see a lot in one day.
Visit to the mill felt a bit like a tourist trap.

Scenery was beautiful, and had a very nice visit to Avoca and Glendalough. The guide was very nice, but didn't provide a tremendous amount of information like guides normally do.

This was a fabulous tour. Our guide, Paddy, was so knowledgeable. The roads in this area are narrow and winding. It was great to leave the driving to someone else. The scenery is beautiful. Upon completion of the tour Paddy made certain we all knew our way back to our hotels. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was so well organised and really fun. we went to some amazing places and im so glad we picked this tour.our tour guide Paddy was fantastic he gave us information and some really fun facts but also let us walk around and enjoy the places in our time also. He was a brilliant tour guide and I would happily go on another tour if he was to be our guide. I ended up giving him a huge hug at the end because he had made our day. Please pass on our thanks.

We loved the beautiful scenery and stops on the tour. However, our tour guide Paddy was the best! He made the trip worth while!

Very full itinery with many areas of interest. We wouldn't have seen most of this if we had gone it alone. Loved the train journey. The tour guide Liam was very knowledgable and kept us up to date with lots of information about all the places we visited. Well worth a visit.
Kyle K, Nov 2014
Liam and Patrick were wonderful. Liam was full of fun facts and went at a great pace for the group. We got to see so much and it was so pretty. Thanks again! Very easy too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and our Guide and the Minibus driver were excellent. We would have liked a little more time to explore Avoca though.
Kathleen A. H, Jul 2014
Very worthwhile. Saw much country side and sea on the train. Raymond was the tour guide for 4 of us.
We had a great time.
Denise K, Apr 2014
The guide was excellent, but the vehicle provided was extremely too small and made the trip uncomfortable. Also if there are less then 5 people tours should be cancelled.
james c, Sep 2013
trip was canceled at last minute due to not enough people signed up for it. disappointed but it happens.
wish I could have know about the cancelation earlier, found out about 1:30 local time but couldn't contact anyone until about 5 so couldn't reschedule something else for that day.
