Double booking fiasco

We were waiting to catch the train to Dublin for our Private Tour of Dublin , and I thought I would email Ciaran to let him know we were on our way. He sent me an email saying our tour had been canceled, because of over booking. We were not happy to say the least. We went to Dublin on our own and toured some. We asked for a refund and got it. But our day was still ruined.

A scam, run far away!

I believe that I was scammed. My guide didn’t speak very good English. His what’s app photo did not match who he was. He knew very little about Dublin. I regret having signed up for the tour. As I was walking with the « guide » who calls himself Caio from Brazil, I was growing increasingly frustrated as he gave me such basic facts about Dublin. I walked next to him in silence for long stretches of time, waiting for him to speak about Dublin. He said that the Vikings came in the 1800s! After the tour I asked him to refund my money and he asked me for my bank details. I was so ashamed to be scammed. I should have known that a tour with only 30 reviews and such a high price was off. Im hoping to be refunded in full for this awful and potentially dangerous experience. I was alone with this person on the tour! Awful!

Tour was fantastic! I didn’t realize it was a private tour but was so happy it was. We moved at our own pace, it was great! Keelan was a wonderful tour guide with lots of insight into the city and the mindset of the Irish throughout history. Highly recommended.

Keelen is the smartest nicest guide! We had a wonderful tour, very informational. We stopped for ice cream and coffee, had some real insight to the history and culture and current events of Ireland. we could have continued for ever if it weren’t for our aching feet. Wonderful tour!

This is a 5 hour walking tour of Dublin, a fact that Viator does not make clear in their description, so my husband, who has mobility problems could only make it through the first hour. That said, our tour guide, Keelan, was amazing. He is studying history at Trinity College and knows pretty much everything there is to know about Ireland and its history. I'm a history buff, so Keelan explained everything and answered all of my questions. To put it brief, he was amazing!!!! I highly recommend the tour but in the future I would book directly with his company, which unfortunately I cannot remember the name. Viator is deceptive in its tour descriptions.

Our guide Ruairi was exceptional - we enjoy history tours and were happy with Ruairi’s storytelling and engaging manner. We had a special request and without hesitation, he took us to the place we were curious about. He included many different and compelling parts of his city and we truly enjoyed the time we spent learning about Dublin.

With travel being so fluid these days...booked this tour last minute before arriving in Dublin. Eamon or guide was quick to respond via WhatsApp. Due to the short day light hours he was flexible to meet us early right at our hotel. Had a great day walking, talking, taking in the sights and sounds. I highly recommend this tour ...especially if you want a great overview of Dublin in a half day. Eamon was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Irish history which I have to admit I was not fully aware of. We stopped at a nice pub to take a break midway...also secured a restaurant reservation for later. Great tour...super guide and a good time was had by all.😁👍❤️

It was our fist time in Ireland and we were looking forward to this tour. We arrived at the meeting spot 5 minutes early and remained for the next 35 minutes. Our guide never arrived or responded to our messages.

Fantastic city tour with Ben

Our guide, Ben, really gave us a sense of the city. He was very knowledgeable, answered all the questions we had and told numerous stories. Would absolutely recommend! Best part, he was very flexible and was able to find a place to purchase an item that we needed (power converter). Also, he suggested a different way to drink Guinness that I loved!

Eamon was wonderful! We had a lovely time and he gave a truly personal experience. It was just the two of us so it was like a long conversation with a particularly knowledgeable host. He even helped us reserve a cab at the end when we couldn’t figure it out!

Our guide, Eamon was very information and passionate about Dublin. Unfortunately it was a rainy day but Eamon was able to avoid these showers by going into different churches and buildings nearby. We did not get to enjoy a complimentary alcoholic drink at a traditional pub - a stop was offered to us but somehow we did not get to do this and sadly had not realized that it was included in this tour.

Met our guide, Fiona, right at Noon and jumped right in. It was awesome to have such personalized service; three of us and Fiona. Well worth the time and money to get a locals tour of the city while allowing for a couple stops if needed to get a bite, drink, or just escape the rain when the cold set in. Very flexible, professional, and personal. Great time!
