Our hike was on a couple of loop trails adjacent to the visitor center. Our guide Josie really knew her craft and was very informative about flora, fauna, geology, and local history. I would have preferred to be in a little more remote of a hiking trail with fewer people but given that the hike was marketed as an easy hike which is what my wife wanted, I appreciate that options are narrowed relative to moderate trails.

We did the 4.5 hour hike in Denali National Park on the Triple Lakes Trail. Our guide Josie led the hike and she stopped along the way to explain the flora and fauna about the region. Very interesting learning about the plants and animals that live in the subarctic regions of Alaska and their habits/traits. The hike was a bit strenous at times but manageable. We did 3 miles to just above the tree line and 3 miles back for a total of 6 miles and 1500 ft elevation gain. The views along the path were amazing. I would
recommend tour this to those in decent shape interested in doing a hike inside the park while learning a bit about nature of the region.

We enjoyed our hikes led by Josie who was informative and had lots to share about the area in which we hiked. It was more like a private tour as my husband and I were the only members in the “group”. Josie tailored it to my needs as I’m not the fastest of hikers. Definitely would recommend this tour! Thanks Josie!
