Our guide was Alfredo and it was just me and my wife for the hike as others had cancelled the trip at the last moment. We had a very good experience hiking up the rainbow mountain. We learnt a lot of things on the way about different plantations and animals around the area. About the glaciers and lots more.

This was such a cool tour! The sites were amazing and the guides knew all the best spots for photos. Both guides had great personalities that made the tour a lot of fun. We especially had fun with Stephen, since we ended up hiking with him to the red valley. That was worth the extra hike. It was not as crowded as the rainbow mountain hike but still an awesome view. The buffet breakfasts and lunches had good food as well!

The views and hikes were amazing, however the company was horrible. Our guide consistently told us to hike ahead, and he would catch up to us later... to which he would catch up and actually just pass us and continue hiking ahead, leaving us behind. When we did have a chance to ask him questions about the area, he rarely had an answer.

Dear Mr. Benjamin Chambers: We are quite surprised because of your review, please let us answer you: 1st.- We have provided you a private tour with an exclusive team, an expert driver and an experienced and fun Guide (Carlos) . 2.- Once you finished the tour, you asked us to storage your luggage and we did it with pleasure, you had the oportunity to told us something about the tour that moment, but you just leave. 3.- we have called a taxi for you for non extra charge, this because we try always to do the best for our customers. 4.- We have asked you about the services via WhatsApp to have a feedback, you never answered and never got your reply Then: Why you put us a 1*?, I guess is because the following reazon: Once you took the tour you told the guide that you paid for all, but in your ticket it was clear that entrances were NOT INCLUDED, Why they are not included? it is because sometimes the prices on entrances change and they could change the price of the hole service, then customers can pay the entrances directly to the andean people. At this situation, you pushed to the guide to pay your entrances even than he showed you the ticket with the information saying that there were not included. The guide reported that you were not corresponding the conversations and then that is maybe a not good manner to threat a person. Please, consider that we did our best for you, even doing extra things like storing your luggage, calling a taxi for you. We believe that we do not deserve this review only because you did not read your inclutions and exclutions. also is not good to threat people on a bad way (at this case our guide Carlos) only because you did not take care of details on the ticket. We feel very sorry, but at this case we are not agree with you. Hope you can be more comunicative with your future providers of services and hope you can cosidder the details they do to make you happy. Warm Regards. Holger.

Great Rainbow Mountain Tour

This was a great tour! The tour guide made sure we were one of the first groups on top of the mountain, so we were able to get some really good pictures! If you are worried about the climb, the rent horses for 60 soles that take out all the way besides the last 20-30 minutes. I do recommend if you are having problems with the altitude change. Highly recommend!

We ended up going to palccoyo mountain as rainbow was shut. The guide julian was very helpful. We enjoyed the snow and thunder storm at the top of mountain. Seeing all the alpacas in their natural habitat and the quechue community's that farmed the area was a real treat . Thumbs up even if it was different to what we booked the lunch and breakfast were great and I'm a vegetarian lovely local food.

I would look for a different tour company.

They picked us up from hotel around 3:30 AM in a minivan which had no space to keep legs. The shortest people in my group had trouble sitting in this uncomfortable van. They stopped at a local place for breakfast and lunch. The food was terrible and none of my group members liked it. The tour guide had no knowledge and didn't even guide us properly or answered our questions. The second guide Romario was way better than the actual guide Samuel. The only good part of the trip was the nature and second guide Romario who took care of us in our trek and made sure everyone is safe. Kudos to him and rest everything is bad. If not for the second guide, I would have given one start to this.

El guía no hablo ni explico nada. Chófer manejo muy rápido, hasta que chocamos. Se lastimo a un lugareño. Estuvimos 2 hs demorados esperando hacer la denuncia
