Tour cancelled at short notice - avoid.

We did not hear from the tour operator until the day before when we received the pickup details. They then messaged again in the evening (7pm) to tell us the tour had been cancelled due to another group cancelling their booking, even though this shouldn’t be possible with the advertised cancellation policy. We had already travelled to Cusco at this point and the late notice for the cancellation meant that we did not have time to book an alternative trip to Waqrapukara elsewhere. We had booked and paid well in advance so it was a bit disappointing not to be able to go through no fault of our own.
