A super Cretan experience!

We signed up for this cooking experience with reasonably high expectations based on the reviews we’d seen, but even the best of those didn’t do justice to how delightful Eleni was as our host/chef instructor and how much fun the whole evening was. The food was authentic Cretan “home cooking”, thoroughly delicious. The venue is lovely and gives one a glimpse into island life and how much work is involved in simply making a living from the land, and sharing that experience with visitors from afar. If you’re looking for gourmet fare, this is not for you. If you’re looking to have an insight into life on Crete and help prepare and enjoy a delicious meal with a delightful host, this is a fantastic opportunity!

This was amazing, felt like we we’re family all learning to cook Cretan foods together. Elena was so warm and knowledgeable, the sharing of Crete olive tree and family traditions was wonderful. Highlight of our time in Crete. Highly recommend this event, I would do this again!
