Itinerary

boat trip was amazing. A great way to see the city. Little confusing as there are multiple HOHO bus companies. But a staff member is usually around to point you to the correct stop.

Great ways to get an overview of Copenhagen

I only did one but route and the canal tour, but it would be ready to do multiple routes as well. Red line have a great introduction to Copenhagen.

Rude, very unhelpful bus drivers

We booked a hop on hop off bus and boat tour. The bus tour really didn’t let us see the sights that the narrative was talking about. We tried to find out how to redeem the boat tour portion of the tickets that we bought and were told by several different bus drivers that “if you’re not going to continue on this route, get off NOW” and other such delightful (not) responses. Due to time constraints, we never got to do the boat tour that we paid for. With the massive amount of people, I can understand the bus drivers being hostile, but I have experienced hop on hop off tours all over the world and this was the worst!

Great tour, but doesn’t run past 17:30

Hop on hop off buses are always a great way to see the city and this did not disappoint. I will say my only negative comment is the communication was lacking on when the last bus would run. We only found out by accident at 5:30pm/17:30 when the bus we were on a bus and the driver said that was it, last stop of the night.

This HOHO experience was the WORST such experience ever. And I’ve taken these excursions many other places. This excursion is an utter waste of money and time. The only redeeming feature is that it kept me out of the rain. That IS IT.

A great way to get around the city

Great sightseeing, just be aware sometimes the buses leave before schedule and it is another 30 mins till they come around again, especially the Little Mermaid stop, said he would wait 5 mins while everyone took a picture, but was gone before any of us got back

This was horrible. Waited at several different stops for a long time and no bus ever came. Then we finally got to one where the bus came and it just drove right by. It didn’t even slow down. I tried to get a refund, but was denied. Horrible horrible experience.

Copenhagen Classic Canal Tour With Guide - actually my review is about this canal tour, it started raining and the tour guide covered herself first with umbrella and raincoat then gave us raincoats about 15 minutes after it started raining, we were all drenched, there were old people and kids on this tour. when i asked the guide if they would let us take the tour again the following day, she abruptly said no!!!! i contacted both viator and the local company AND THEY WERE POINTING FINGER AT EACH OTHER, TELLING ME TO CONTACT THE OTHER, UP TO NOW, I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE FROM EITHER, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Great experience..... very informative... lots of stops to all the major attractions. & then some... no long wait times... loved having three routes... got to see more of the city... bus drivers very help...

Terrible Experience

we began our excursion at the Train Station. We only made it to Nyhavn where we made our first exit. We missed the next bus so instead of waiting 45 min we walked to the church and palace. We were 5 steps from the bus and he took off. We waited another 45 minutes and he drove by without stopping. By this time we were frozen and frustrated and took an uber home. We would like to request a replacement of 4 of our tickets to be good for Saturday February 7. We attempted to follow the app and it was very spotty as to when it worked. We attempted to do a chat on the app and no one replied. My confirmation number was 1741116113 booking ref nunber 1358095605

It would have helped if Viator website said to look for a sign that said "Sightseeing" these signs are where you wait for bus. To say it stops by a castle/SMK does not help. Since foreighnerdms would not know an acronym. Needs to be more specific. We lost an hour of asking many people where the bus stops.

Don’t do it!!

DO NOT BOOK!!!!! There are better companies! Never located a map. Never located a bus. Walked 1.5 miles, asked in the station, hotel Astoria and a coffee shop. Tried to call. Tried to message. No response. No refund offered. Will never use again!

It is the perfect way to visit sites at your own pace and super easy and convenient. Buses are easy to spot and arrive every 20 minutes or so.

Easy way to see the city

Easy to figure out once you find a stop. Need to advertise exact hours. Even though it is available for 24 hours, doesn’t start until 10am and stops at 6pm
