Buses run every 1/2 hour. Not too busy this time of year (early April). There are 3 routes. The bus drivers were nice and helpful. Waited extra time so we could get something from the store. Good experience.

Excellent pick up and return from/to Ocean Quay terminal 3, right outside our cruise ship terminal. The Viator/Stroma mobile ticket worked perfectly. All drivers and staff were very nice and helpful. The included 1.5 hr Canal cruise was excellent. Copenhagen is a gem.

The boat tour was fabulous. The City tour is decent. Always a good way to get your bearings in a new city. But why all Hoho Companies make it so darn hard to get info online on bus stops and routes is beyond me. It’s good to know this when choosing accommodations.

I like to use a hop on hop off tour to get an overview of a new city. After I booked I looked for a map of stops on Viator and never did find one. Finally I asked a competing hop on hop off company and they directed me to a nearby stop. The audio narration was much lighter on details than most other hop on hop off tours I’ve taken. There were long periods of silence as we drove around and many interesting sights, statues, etc that remained unremarked. I wonder if one of the competing hop on hop off tours might be better but they apparently don’t ticket online.

Boat tour was terrific. pleasant, entertaining, and informative. Bus tour narration was minimal and uninformative. They gave little history and did not say what to see at each stop. The bus stayed at each stop too long.

This is a beautiful city rich in history! This was a really nice canal cruise. We did the hop on hop off bus combo. We were off a cruise ship doing this tour. Unfortunately we didn’t have a lot of time in Copenhagen by the time we found the boat launch. We needed more time in the port to take full advantage. Beautiful city!

Red bus is frequent but green and purple only stopped at each stop every hour or so. At times we had long waits. Boat tour was lovely. We were there on a beautiful sunny weekend so Buses were very busy and full. Otherwise it was a great way to see Copenhagen.

Make sure you get QR code before arriving. There was an issue with my ticket and I couldn't get on without the QR code. Boat tour is definitely better than the bus so prioritise this. Copenhagen isn't that big so can walk the majority.

3 hours on a bus for a 15 min drive

We left the ship at 9.30 and the hoho bus was a short walk away. We boarded and it left at 10 am. We were told that there was a small ship nearby so the bus diverted away to pick up around 10 passengers. With the drivers tannoy on we could hear that with everyone of those passengers the driver explained rhe bus and boat deal, the discount they could receive and tried to persuade each one of them to take the deal. After 20+ minutes of this we drove to the lLittle Mermaid where everyone had to get off and wait for another bus into Copenhagen. 15 minutes later we caught this bus and headed onwards. Copenhagen is a busy city with a lot of traffic lights but the slowness of the journey was compounded by the fact that rather than seeing sights we were stopping at numerous hotels to pick up passengers. No one could hop on or hop off because the bus was full and the number of people waiting at the bus stops was surprisingly large so no one was getting off. We arrived at the canal cruise at 12.30 and took the 1pm cruise. Three and a half hours from ship to boat. The cruise was excellent and thoroughly well run and presented. The last bus to the ship was 3.40pm and given the number of people on the hoho system and so few buses we took a taxi to the ship which cost 27 euros for the 4 of us and took 15 minutes. Needless to say the moral of the story is - Take the canal cruise but get a uber there and back.

I was unable to use this ticket. I bought it for use during a 7 hour layover and despite reaching out to the tour company on where to find the busses, I only saw one of this tour company’s the entire time I was in the city and that was when I was walking back to the metro station to leave. I saw probably 20 busses of the other tour company operating in the city while searching for the red bus with a little yellow, with stromma logo.

Great - good commentary and covered all the sites. Easy to spot the bus. Friendly drivers were helpful. Cruise express to pick up from port made it very useful and easy to navigate. Not unexpectedly,(traffic can't be helped) but bus for the Purple line was running late so didn't sync correctly with other lines therefore missed that bus and route (runs more infrequently). Boat tour was a highlight!

The app was easy to use and price was good. I did panic when my tickets disappeared and we still had 24 hours left of a 48 hour ticket. It was lucky I saved them the to Google wallet as they needed to be scanned for each trip. I wouldn't use again. I would book while there.

Boat great, bus sucked

The boat ride was great. But the bus was often late, when it was running. There was 2 buses missing on one day . Which was not practical considering the short time range they have. And their " live map" sucks real bad. It kept freezing. The bus stops are not clearly indicated , and it's not showing which direction we had to take. Do not recommend

This is the best way to travel to see the sights of Copenhagen and get off at a selected destination. Did the Classic Route (there are 3 routes) Got on at stop 12(Tivoli) off at stop 1 to do shopping. Can get the boat at stop 1. Continued after shopping to see Little Mermaid. Very comfortable and informative.
