- There is no on-site parking, but you can park next door at 17 Lockwood Drive. After parking, walk 4-5 minutes along Lockwood Drive to the Harborage at Ashley River Marina (33 Lockwood Dr), where your captain will meet you in front of the marina building 10–15 minutes before your charter.

We booked this cruise to celebrate my mother's birthday during a long weekend in Charleston and we all agreed this was the highlight of our trip. We lucked out and had two captains, Brian and James, and they were both wonderful. They struck a great balance of engaging with us, telling us a bit of history, cracking a few jokes (they're funny guys), but also giving us time to enjoy the ride. The journey was very smooth and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. I would highly recommend them if you're in Charleston and want to get out on the water.

The boat was 38ft and spacious for us 4 adults. It appeared to be in very good shape The weather on 3/25/26 was chilly at about 65 degrees and partly cloudy but quite breezy making for a GREAT day for sailing!! The captain (Patrick) was most excellent and professional but very friendly and easy to talk to, and informative about the things we would see. The first mate (Bethany) was also excellent and accommodating and friendly as well. They seemed to work very well together. My wife and I were able to take advantage of the bean bag chairs up front which were VERY comfortable. If you’re considering a harbor sailing adventure then this boat is the one to get and if you’re lucky enough to get the crew we had then the excursion will definitely be a memorable one!!!

expect a peaceful and relaxing sail around the harbor. bring a light jacket if you have the sunset sail. Our captain’s Brian and Jake (or Zack? sorry😬) were amazing. They were so chill and let us just soak in the experience. They rescheduled our morning sail for the sunset time because of rain. We really appreciated the attention yo safety and commitment to us having the best experience. They both kept an eagle eye out for dolphins and pointed them out to us. we were fortunate to see quite a few close to the boat. I would recommend sailing with these guys 100% !!

Captain Warren and First Mate Michael were kind enough to take us out on a very cold day! They were great sports, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend the experience!

Captain Pat Wood, and his sidekick Mike were just amazing. Constant information and all the while diligently working on sailing. They made it look easy even though there were so many intricacies. We are so grateful for such a perfect day sailing!

Captain Ryan & his 1st mate I believe Zack were great! Informative on the local history of harbor & Fort Sumpter. They served us our byob’s & lunch. Loved the bean bags up front which were so relaxing. Cruise was all around fantastic! 1st class!!!

Friendly Captain (Holly) and Crew (Jules). Good communication before and during the sail. Holly took safety seriously including watching a potential storm in the distance and adjusting course for it. Jules took care of us by serving us and checking to see if we needed anything which allowed us to sit, relax and enjoy the cruise.
We enjoyed being on the water, seeing all the other ships, the smooth sailing and seeing dolphins. I would definitely recommend this as a special thing to do while in Charleston.

Well priced for a private yacht cruise. We just chilled as we enjoyed the scenery and the dolphins. Captain Holly and her first mate were knowledgeable, friendly and very service oriented. I would definitely do it again.

The operators were extremely knowledgeable and personable. We felt very safe. The harbor is gorgeous. It was fun to see the beautiful homes and also the cargo ships coming in and out. We had gorgeous weather…it was a highlight of our vacation!

Brian and Austin were amazing captains and gave us an incredible and memorable experience to culminate our trip to SC. The sunset sailboat trip was as informative as it was relaxing and the vibe was very chill. They took amazing family photos for us as well. The sunset was the best we’ve ever seen. While both William and Zack were pleasant and friendly, the 4 of us got off the sailboat feeling like we were taken advantage of. We went under the bridge and into the channel and did not get anywhere near the sites advertised. It was a lot of money for a canned ride.

Brian and Bethany were terrific! They were very accommodating and helpful and it was obvious they love to take care of their customers. We took our kids and their friends on a cruise and it was great. We brought snacks and beverages on board and they set up a little table for us and made sure everything was perfect. We did get to see some dolphins too. It was a terrific time on the water.

10/10 recommend! Captain Will and Bella were amazing. When the weather was bad Will called and got us in the next morning. Bella told us all about the area and dolphins. It was comfortable and the best time with my friends!! Would definitely do this again and is a must if you are in Charleston!

Sailing while watching the sunset was amazing! Glen had a wealth of history that he shared as we sailed, and he was expert at navigating us around. Harper was lovely and took great care of us.
