Our guide Fabrizio was amazing! He took time to explain the history of Anacapri, Capri, and the Blue Grotto. We had an amazing pizza lunch in Anacapri, then took a ride on the chair lift to the top of Anacapri. The Blue Grotto boat ride was priceless! It was an amazing tour. RL

The blue grotto part was...

Chester_R, Sep 2025
The blue grotto part was cancelled due to rough sea conditions which we anticipated and understand. Our disappointment came from the start of the trip. We started on Capri with a meeting time of 10:30. Didn’t see anyone there and started communicating through the app about where to meet. They provided the cell of the guide. Called and no answer. Just as we were ready to call it off, our guide arrived as he just got off the ferry with others from Naples. He then proceeded to say it was time for a bathroom break and to get a drink if you wanted. He wanted everyone back by 11:00. We did not get on the bus to Anacapri until 11:18. Wish I had been told to meet at 11:00 or 11:15 instead of 10:30, such a huge waste of time as we arrived at 10:15 to be sure we were on time. The only reason for the 2 star is because of such a great local guide. If you’re staying in Capri, I definitely do not recommend this excursion. Part of the trip was waking around Capri for an hour, which if you’re staying in Capri you’ve already done. Since the blue grotto was closed, our guide had us go on the boat tour to see the other attractions which was the best part of the trip.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Dear Chester, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Capri is a beautiful destination, but it can also be quite challenging to manage, especially on days when many cruise passengers arrive and the island becomes extremely crowded. We would like to clarify that our guide arrived at the port of Capri at 10:30, which was the scheduled meeting time. Before that, it was not possible to answer phone calls because the mobile signal is not available during the ferry crossing. Once disembarked, the guide gave about 20 minutes of free time to the group, not due to disorganization, but because on very busy days the local bus company assigns vehicles only after a mandatory waiting period. We understand that this may have caused some frustration and we sincerely apologize. Unfortunately, the closure of the Blue Grotto due to rough sea conditions is beyond our control, but we always try to offer valid alternatives, such as the boat tour, which – we are glad to hear – was the highlight of your day. Your comments will help us improve communication about these logistical challenges and make the experience as smooth as possible for future guests. Kind regards ENJOY CAPRI TOUR

Didn’t see the Blue grotto but still happy

Anna_L, Jun 2025
I booked the Blue Grotto experience in Capri leaving from Naples. The meeting site was at Bar Picnic 8:30am we were there a little earlier but by 8:30 there was no sign of a tour group and the later it got I actually started asking random tour guides if they were our tour group. Finally Fabrizio showed up with the rest of the tour group so that was a relief but I wish there was better communication instead of making me afraid I missed our tour or got the meeting spot wrong. But once all that was settled Fabrizio was in high gear and took care of all of us with no problem. He made sure we had clear instructions on where to sit in the ferry so we can get off the quickest and get a bus, there were so many people due to cruise ships coming in. We didn’t wait long at all for a bus that took us to Anacapri. He gave us the history and current events of the island of Capri which was very nice. We did not get a chance to see the Blue Grotto due to the long waiting time. We took a boat along the coast of Capri around the island, it was just so beautiful and the best way to end the day. I really can’t say it was better than blue grotto but it was well worth the money and longer than the 5-10 minute blue grotto experience. Overall the experience was great and my 7 year old had a blast from the jet ferry to the chairlift to the boat ride it was all a good time.

Exceptional Tour Guides

Karen_T, May 2025
We were booked with enjoycapritoirs and had the pleasure of being shown beautiful Capri by Fabriezo & Dominico. They were exceptional in every way, managing several large groups, their knowledge, speaking multiple languages & their charm! Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate to allow us in the blue grotto - but we were instead able to go into several other and better grottos without long waits or needing to transfer to a smaller boat to get inside (as with the blue grotto). Dominico knew how disappointed I was about the blue grotto being closed but assured me I would have if not the same - but better - experience in one of the grottos we WERE able to get into that day. He did not disappoint!! Moral of the review is, don’t be so hung up on the blue grotto - there’s others that are as beautiful and more comfortable & convenient to see!

Island Beauty

Carmen_M, Oct 2024
We had a great day touring the Island by land and also by sea. Unfortunately the sea conditions did not able us to go into the Blue Grotto however our tour guide Fabrizio did a fabulous job taking us all over the island and giving us very informative information and explaining the history of Capri.

Breathtaking

Dawn_M, Aug 2024
It was an absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend. Bring some gravol for the boat ride there - it’s a bit choppy. The blue waters are so breathtaking.

Great experience the tour and the guide.

Peter_B, Jul 2024
Our tour experience was amazing. To begin with the time did change and we were running late, but the tour group waited for us so we could get on the ferry and stay with the group. our tour guide he got us into one of the early groups into the blue grotto from the stairs which was a lot faster than being in the boat and it was really hot so it was good to get in and out. he gave the group multiple options throughout the day depending on what everyone's interests are and covered everyone's interests. Also, He speed up the waiting time on the chair left And had great restaurant recommendations.

Once in a lifetime experience

Fayne_S, May 2024
Getting from The bigger boat into the smaller row boat was an exciting experience. Our guide for the day tour was Marco and he was great. The grotto was beautiful

Ok tour if you see the blue grotto

Tara_B, Mar 2024
We missed the blue grotto due to weather, which we totally understand. However, there were only 3 of us who signed up for the tour- we were passed off 2-3 times to different guides. We almost didn’t get to go on the boat tour at all. We did see Ana Capri and Capri which were both nice. I would say if you are on the fence you may not find this tour worthwhile.

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Dear Tara, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected. Unfortunately, that day the maritime connections were suspended. Our guide ferry coming from Naples that should have taken care of you was canceled, we had to look for a last minute solution to take care of you We are sorry to learn that despite our efforts you have not enjoyed the day certain of our actions if you were to return here we would be pleased if you were our guests again to make you understand how we work thank you anyway for choosing us

Poor

Kathleen_M, Nov 2023
There was a schedule change causing us to arrive at the Blue Grotto and wait over 1 and one half hours. As a result the garden tour was dropped and never even mentioned. The "tour guide" provided little commentary. Our lunch stop was so rushed we were unable to see much and them we waited one half hour again to get a bus.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear Kathleen, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected. Unfortunately, the tour we offer is not always able to respect the timing as the Blue Grotto is always very crowded and when the sea is not in the best conditions the service is extremely slow. in high season the island of capri can be extremely full of people we strive to do our best but sometimes it is out of our possibilities

Couldn't go

Dani_S, Oct 2023
Unfortunately we weren't able to go to the grotto due to the tides. However, the guide did the best he could to make up for it. I was very disappointed but tides to what they want and that's not the companies fault.

Somewhat disappointing

Peter_P, Oct 2023
Our tour guide Dominic tried his hardest to accommodate but there were too many bad events. Also we had 3 tourist that didn’t follow instructions and we were forever waiting for them in the heat one instance up to 30 minutes wait. The blue grotto was breathtaking but it’s over in 5 minutes so all in all not worth the money. There was no mention of the Augusta’s garden and this was in the package deal. Disappointing it had potential to be much better.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear Peter, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected unfortunately when you purchase a group tour some unpleasant events can happen, the guide had to wait for the late tourists who ruined part of the tour and we are very sorry for this but we would like to point out that we would have waited for you too if you had found yourself in the same situation . as regards the blue cave, we do not decide the length of stay as it is managed by a local company but I guarantee that the visit does not exceed 10 minutes regarding the gardens of augusto, we are sorry if you did not visit them, probably the wait at the blue grotto and having to wait for latecomers influenced the timing of the tour and the guide had to eliminate something from the program We are very sorry We will do our best to improve

Quick touch of the island

Steve_R, Oct 2023
Blue Grotto! Impressed with how our tour guide worked so there wasn't a wait. Fast walk so be prepared!

Blue Grotto was not open but the tour was still fantastic!

Stephanie_C, Sep 2023
I'm going to start this off by letting you know the truth that the Blue Grotto is not a guarantee and our day was no exception, the water was rough and the entrance to the grotto was closed, not just to this tour but to everyone. This sounds like it's not an unusual occurrence and I commend our tour guide (Michele) for pivoting so quickly to get us onto a boat tour of the island, we really enjoyed the boat tour, saw some incredible sights we would not have seen regularly and had a fantastic day! Lots of time to stop and enjoy each area we had time in. I highly recommend this tour and Michele as a guide to anyone who goes!

CAPRI OUTING

John_A, Sep 2023
Our group skipped the Blue Grotto due to a 2-3 hour queue. Instead, we had a guided boat tour around the island - which was great. The two additional stops on Capri - accessed by bus - were not memorable. Lots of crowds on narrow streets with little more than expensive shops to take our money. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining.

A great way to see the island in a day

David_P, Sep 2023
This tour was fantastic. We were worried that we would have to do a lot of walking but the only walking was wandering around Capri and Anacapri. A wonderful way to see the island in a short amount of time.

Bucket list expectations met

Denise_W, Sep 2023
The most memorable thing about this tour was seeing the inside of the blue grotto. It was absolutely spectacular. It’s been on my bucket list for along while and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide Fabritzio was awesome. Being one of the oldest in the tour group, he took special care of our needs. He was wonderful!

Marvelous

Ann_A, Sep 2023
Blue Grotto was closed because of water level I think and agustus gardens were closed for filming movie, even though the trip was marvelous. We started with the chair lift, from the top you see whole Capri, enjoy the view and take stunning photos, then visted the church, shopped and had lunch after that we took boat tour to coral and white caves unbelievably beautiful. Our tour guide saved us timeand guid us to the hidden gems. The pick up was at Napoli port, we didn't worry about the fairy tickets back and forth, the bus transfer in Capri as you will see 2 locations first the go back to the port for the boat tour ... so this trip just ensures that you enjoy the Veiw and not to worty about all of this. It was great.

So much fun!

Ariel_M, Aug 2023
We had a great experience in Capri with the help of our tour guide Fabrizio. We went at the perfect time and waited around an hour for the blue grotto (was worth it!). We really enjoyed this tour!

Don’t go on this trip

David_L, Jul 2023
Terrible experience. Long lines in the heat, didn’t get to see the Blue Grotto. Instead had to pay out of pocket to take a lift to the top of the town. We spent 40 minutes waiting for the shuttle boat and a total of 1.5 hours of the tour on the shuttle bus. The tour was combined with 3 other tours and the guides were overwhelmed and confused.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear David, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected. Unfortunately, on some days Capri is extremely crowded and we are unable to offer the service we would like to provide. The long waits you are talking about are not our responsibility but due to too many people on the island during the high season. Capri is a very small island!! We would like to point out that the tickets for the chairlift are not included but it is an optional activity so it was right to pay for them

Blue Grotto Love

Fran_H, Jul 2023
Our tour guide Fabrizio was fun and knowledgeable. The Blue Grotto was incredible as was all of the sights we got to see on this tour.

Blue Grotto walking tour

Our guide Fabrizio was amazing! He took time to explain the history of Anacapri, Capri, and the Blue Grotto. We had an amazing pizza lunch in Anacapri, then took a ride on the chair lift to the top of Anacapri. The Blue Grotto boat ride was priceless! It was an amazing tour. RL

Hectic!

Lily_Y, Jul 2023
Sadly this was not really a tour but organised transportation around Capri and some of that was shared with other people (seemed like they were part of another group). We got some snippets of information about the island at the very start but that was about it. I was hoping to hear lots about the island, life, the people, etc. It was hectic all day long with the sheer number of people in Capri, the buses and our large group. We were taken to Anacapri for the chair lift but hardly had any time and only managed to take the chair lift up to spend about 15 mins at the top. Certainly no time to explore the rest of the town. The Blue Grotto was next but I felt as if we were trying to be dissuaded to go by being told how long the wait would be and many in our sub group opted not to go. I don’t really know where they went afterwards as the whole group got split up. We only waited 18 mins and this “skip the line” was actually just a separate way of visiting the Blue Grotto that any member of the public can do. It was the “land queue” as opposed to taking a boat to the blue grotto and queuing from your boat to wait for the little rowboat. Afterwards we were kind of just left to our own devices in Capri where we had a late lunch (no scheduled time for lunch btw!) and went back to catch the ferry ourselves. There was also no visit to Augustus Gardens though one lady insisted on going so one of the guides went with her but it was never mentioned to anyone else. Overall, it was very expensive for what it was but if you don’t want the hassle of trying to figure out the transportation then by all means. If you just want an easier way to visit the Blue Grotto, research how to join the land queue. Kudos to the three guides for being able to manage such a large group though.

Worth it for the Blue Grotto

Sara_C, Jul 2023
The most important thing to me was going to the Blue Grotto and it did not disappoint! We were so lucky there was almost no line when we arrived so the guide didn’t even make us skip to the front. We still had to wait a few minutes but it was ok. The rest of the experience was just average, it was worth it for the transportation around the island, to Anacapri and then back to Capri, and for the few cool facts the guide gave us along the way. We separated from the original group to go to the Blue Grotto and never saw them again. After the Blue Grotto the driver just dropped us back in Capri and we were a bit confused on what to do, because the guide was not there and no one from the original group, so the tour ended there for us. We just walked around discovering by ourselves and then went back to the hotel we were staying in Marina Picolla.

Unable to find the tour group

Douglas_T, Jul 2023
Our cruise ship did not dock at the designated port for this tour. We had to walk 1.3 miles to get to the appropriate dock for pick up and found thousands of people that had just gotten off another cruise ship waiting for excursions. We asked multiple people how to get to the appropriate tour group at the snack bar and were then sent to a window that had no attendant. Rather frustrated, we walked back to our cruise ship and missed the tour. It would've been nice if we could have had a pick up from our dock as well.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear Douglas, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected. We would like to point out that it would have been your responsibility to know where your cruise ship would dock. We do not meet our customers at cruise ships terminal but at the Beverello terminal in the port of Naples. We take the liberty of advising you for your next experiences to be more careful when purchasing an excursion and to read the meeting point carefully. in conclusion, if he had called us we could have solved the problem I find your review unfair because it's your fault that you did not follow the instructions provided and did not take part in the tour

Awesome view, but Disappointing. Tour description inaccurate

Teresa_R, Jul 2023
The blue grotto was amazing. Just beauty which was spectacular. Disappointed that although advised we would get 10 minutes in grotto it was only just on 5 minutes. Was advised this was due to too many people. I would suggest this is made clear to participants so they know it’s only 5 minutes or reduce the cost. No instruction what to do at the grotto or the preparation or what was happening throughout the day

No such thing as fast-track entry

karen_b, Jul 2023
The cave itself is a beautiful natural phenomenon worth seeing but the handling of visiting is not. The tour guides, fishermen, boat captains, and yachtees all compete for cave entrance and it seems that those with those most money are favored to get in. Despite paying for an expensive private guide and "fast-track" entry tickets, we waited hours on the hot sun. Not cool.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear Karen, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected We would like to point out that your tour was not a private tour with priority access to the cave. priority access does not exist and everyone has to queue. we understand that on some days the queue can be extremely long but it is the only way if you want to visit the Blue Grotto

Amazing day at Capri!!!

Rony_K, Jul 2023
Amazing trip, great guide. We really enjoyed Capri tour. Do not skip the blue cave and the panoramic view from the top of the island!

Friendly and Professional service!

Catharine_C, Jul 2023
The brothers running this operation where fantastic! The problem with Capri in the summer is the logistics of getting around the island and this company did a fantastic job with helping us move around and see the different sights, getting us to the Grotto to queue and make sure we were taken care of. They were friendly and professional as well!

Inexperienced young guides

Sharon_C, Jul 2023
Blue grotto was great. Guides were young and inexperienced! Spoke little to no English and were vague as to what we were doing. Another older guy showed up briefly and helped us. Wish he was our guide instead of the two younger guides. Left us and we had to get a bus ride back down on our own .

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Dear Sharon, We are sorry that your visit did not go as you expected. on the day of your visit one of our professional guide did not show up for work due to a serious personal problem, notifying us only that morning, not allowing us to find a valid replacement. We are sorry that your experience was not the best and if you return to the island you will be our guest

Very good
