Overall this was a very disappointing experience. There was not one person /indication that Viato was involved. We were picked up at 7:12 AM and dropped off at 10 PM that is 15 hours not 12 as indicated on the tour info. Our Fee of 910 Pesos ($45 US) for Park entrances was not used for my youngest grandson but pocked by the tour company and not returned. He did not get a park wrist band. The guide spoke mostly in Spanish and very little English. We were rushed at every stop. I have taken MANY Viator Tours and would not recommend this tour - and may never take another Viator Tour again. when we were picked up the driver spoke no English and were were taken to a Mexican 'Souvenir store where the collected the 'Park Fees' Not telling us at all what was going on. My grand childen who were the two (ages 24 and 14) were worried because no one said what was going on or why were why we were at a souvenir store on a tour to Mexican Ruins! And there is no way to get my Park fees back.

Our main guide was Abelino. We had a tour with majority Spanish speaking but he was easily able to speak in both languages to ensure everyone was included equally. Great job being both entertaining and giving us space when needed including quiet times in the bus.
Driver Victor was smooth and kept things moving seamlessly. Assistant Roberto was kind and great. I forgot the other tour guides name but she was succinct and knowledgeable and I liked her as well.
Timing was close to as advertised. Enough time to appreciate Tulum and have a bit of a guided move through it with time to appreciate things. My recommendation: Feel free to move out separately as needed to take photos and see things.
By the time you get to Coba during summer, you are ready to NOT walk, and honestly if you do decide to walk (free) you won't have time to enjoy too much. They get you here with the tricycles or bicycle rental. If anyone in your group is tired go for the trikes. Worth it. And sometimes they show you an extra spot if you are ahead of the main group.
The meal was fantastic compared to other tours. Buffet, no drinks included (not even water), but better quality and selection by far!
The cenote was also amazing, a completely underground cave pool. We had done a 3 Cenote tour 2 days earlier so through it'd be a repeat but it was so different. Mandatory rental of life vest for a few bucks if you go in.
Finally Playa Del Carmen after a bus nap. You might wish you have more time here honestly. It's very fast but you can enjoy a dessert of chocolate shop or one or two shipping spots. The walking street is great.
They don't say it ahead but bring a water container (in addition to any a plastic bottle) since Tulum apparently doesn't let you bring them in? And bring LOTS of liquid, even if you leave most of it on the bus.

Never had communication with tour for pickup. Waited and kind of missed the whole travel day because I was standing by to get picked up at a moments notice. No communication, no pick up, no tour, and apparently they are denying a refund and just offered a reschedule via Viator (which we could not because the next day we were leaving).

Dear Luis:
The info was send via viator system and we were on time for your hotel.
Still your tour will be open for one year.

We loved the Cenote and the Places we saw were a good Thinge too. Everything on One day! Easy! Thank you Jimmy;-)

Compared to the other tours I did, I do not consider this one a guided tour. I got picked up from my hotel at 7am and we only left Cancun around 8:30am and arrived at the first stop (Coba) at 11:30am. The driver was speeding up the whole way and I was quite scared. The "guide" just shouted facts at us during the ride but did not come with us on the sites so we were left on our own with just an meeting point and hour. By the time we were back at the hotel, it was nearly 9pm and I was exhausted, feeling that I had learned nothing all day. In my opinion, it's just to see all the sites in a day but just a glimpse of them and no major informations.

Pros: good value for what you pay, which includes admission tickets, transportation and an okay lunch. We thought it was reasonable price for the convenience of being taken everywhere. Coba and Tulum were the coolest spots and would have been harder for us to get to on our own without a tour.
Cons: It is a long, tiring day from 7:30AM-9:30PM due to all the travel and a lot of waiting for other tourists at the 4 spots. Our tour guide, who was very nice, only explained a little history for about 10-15 minutes at Tulum. The rest of the time we were dropped off, told to meet at a certain time and on our own (good if you like independent exploring). But do not expect an engaging tour of all the places. We were disappointed by the cenote they took us too (Hidden Cenote). It was a small pool only 1.6 meters deep. We were expecting something much grander and deeper. They also brought us to a jewelry shop which annoyed most of us on the tour. The sellers were polite when we said no. However, we spent an hour waiting for one couple who did buy something. This was a waste of time for the rest of our group. Would have been much better to spend an extra hour at Tulum or just go home earlier. We understand they live off this type of tourism, but you might want to consider if you would pay more for a better tour that maximizes your time. Or you might go with this one for a reasonable price but less time at the best spots.
Note:
At Coba, you only have about an hour. It's 2 km from parking lot to the actual temple. So you feel time pressure to buy a 2 person tricycle (90 pesos for someone to take you) or rent a bike (60 pesos) to save time. Or walk fast! Just FYI because not included in tour and it's probably necessary to ride there at least one way in order to have time to climb and enjoy the view.
Tulum was only about 45 minutes to walk around. It was a really nice place and we wished we could've had more time here.
Playa del Carmen was just shopping at a modern outdoor mall at the end of the day. We were tired by then and not interested in shopping. However most tours seem to include this stop anyway.
In conclusion, good value price-wise but consider how you want to best spend your time.

La visita a Tulum muy rápida y hubo que correr para sacar fotos, en Coba fuimos a un cenote que fue peligroso y pasamos una experiencia agobiante parte del grupo que es mejor olvidar y estuvimos solos en el cenote sin control de nadie. Nada recomendable. 🤦♂️

Tulum é lindo. Vale a pena conhecer. Mas a equipe que nós guiou deixou muito a desejar. Pouco envolvimento e profissionalismo. Aquela 1 hora de acompanhamento prometida no programa se resumiram a 15 minutos. Guia Jimmy o tempo todo no celular.
