- Minimum age is 6 years
- Our prices are the same for both children and adults. If we have children participating we always aim to have an extra guide for supervision. When you book your surf lesson, please specify whether the participants are children.
- For every 3 people in a class, there will be 1 guide/coach
- Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.
- We use foam boards for our surf lessons. If you prefer a fiberglass surfboard please be sure to request this in advance at the time of booking.
- The activity lasts 6:30 hours including round-trip transportation.
- We have two seasons for surf lessons, in the summer from March 15 to November 15, surf lessons are available on the Costa Azul. In winter from November 15 to March 15, we offer surf lessons at Cerritos beach During the winter there are no waves on the Costa Azul beach, which is why the change is made to Cerritos beach.
- To join the lesson as an observer you have to book a non-surfer/companion spot on our transport. The non-surfer/companion fee includes round trip transportation, shaded camp (umbrellas and chairs), bottled water and snacks. You’ll be able to enjoy the beach at our camp while observing the surf lesson. To book, simply select “observer (non-surfer)”.
- No prior experience is required! Our classes are designed for all experience levels, from beginners (we teach you enough to catch a wave) to experts (we offer coaching), always ensuring a great experience at each level as needed.
- Our activities take place on the beach, where there are no locker facilities. However, you can safely leave your personal belongings in the transportation.
- Lunch is included. We’ll take you to a local restaurant, offering 100% Mexican dishes such as fish tacos, chicken, beef, salsa, guacamole, tortilla chips, and refreshing flavored water. We also have a vegetarian option with salads, quesadillas, beans, rice, etc. Lunch is included but optional, so there is no discount offered on the activity if you choose not to go for lunch.
- As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind and jellyfish.
- Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

I had the pleasure of having Marco as my surf instructor. I was very lucky to have the entire time 1:1 with him as there was nobody else in the group today!
Marco is a super cool down to earth dude that's funny and easy to talk to as well as a fantastic teacher. This was my first time surfing ever so I had no idea what to expect but I was up and riding waves in no time. Marco spent the time in the water with me helping me get positioned to catch the right waves and made sure I had correct positioning on the board. He had the perfect gauge of what I could handle and as he saw I was getting more comfortable we would go deeper to catch some bigger waves. Little by little he helped me less until it was just giving me audible queues on when to paddle and stand up. I felt very good and accomplished at the end of the lesson. We went to Cerritos today but on the way back we stopped at Costa Azul beach since I'm staying right down the road from there. He showed me around for future surf sessions and then offered to take me out there to catch a few waves and see how it was, and of course I accepted! It was a very nice gesture which he didn't have to do at all but I'm very glad he did. I would recommend Marco to anyone! Next time I'm back in Cabo if I need a refresher lesson I will be requesting him!

We will absolutely book this surfing experience the next time we’re in Cabo.
We were picked up on time in a clean van with AC, and the instructors’ infectious enthusiasm was immediately clear.
The beach they took us to was gorgeous- the sand sparkles with mica or something similar, and my parents (who were there to observe) enjoyed it as much as we did.
More impressively? They taught both my 9 year old son and I to surf, and he fell in love with the sport. I am 44, not a great swimmer, and definitely not an athlete. Getting up on a board was a triumph!
Amazing teachers, great equipment, comfy chairs and umbrellas for observers, and a gorgeous beach. Worth every penny.

High Tide with Alan
On vacation for a week in Cabo San Lucas and was looking forward to some Mexican surfing the most. Alan DID NOT disappoint. He delivered in all the ways a guide should. Fun, knowledgeable, trustworthy and new when to leave us alone while always keeping an eye on us. The waves were great and I caught 3 of them right after we got in. Oh and PERFECT beach setting… For those who are just there to watch, the seashells you’ll find are beautiful! Water was nice with the wetsuits. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience and especially Alan.

Allan was fantastic! From start to finish the trip was a blast and we had so much fun learning to surf! Allan was a great teacher and really made sure we all had fun. Cerritos beach is beautiful and the waves were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to surf in Mexico.

Mike was an excellent host and instructor for our day at cerritos. He took care of everything from our pickup to providing a great lunch and trip back to our hotel. He is also a great surfer and I learned a lot from him. If you have time and want to get out of cabo for a day, this a great beach trip.

It was so fun! Myself, my older brother, younger sister, and dad basically got a private lesson. The 3 surf instructors helped us catch waves and were great at guiding us through smaller to larger waves.
I wasn’t expecting to be able to stand that quickly — or at all — during my first lesson. They met all four of us at the level we were at and adjusted their coaching to meet our skill levels.
