Sergio was patient, friendly and simple in his directions. We were grateful to have spent the time talking about life after we surfed. A true blessing. What an experience being in the presence of a beautiful beach, scenic wave break and we got to see a whale right off the shore. Highly recommended for any skill level.

My teen/tween kids took this class. It was great! They were pushed to learn some skills. Something they can keep using on other trips! We went to a different coast and they were able to get up on the board.
Sergio was patient, friendly and simple in his directions. We were grateful to have spent the time talking about life after we surfed. A true blessing. What an experience being in the presence of a beautiful beach, scenic wave break and we got to see a whale right off the shore. Highly recommended for any skill level.
Sergio is a fantastic teacher. He made me feel 110% safe and i would recommend to anyone looking to learn how to surf in los cabos. Im not new to surfing but definitely have a lot more to learn. Sergio “Gato” helped me learn a lot during my session with him. Super knowledgeable and very helpful!

We surfed with Joe & Marco & they were so fantastic! Lots of patience. We had a wonderful time, would highly recommend!
We loved this experience, even if we were terrible and a bit terrified! Sergio reached out directly to me right away with information and pictures which were really helpful to know we were in the right place. Our instructor was someone else (Sergio had an injury) but Sergio still introduced us and made us feel welcome and reassured. He was kind when we wanted to quit a bit early (we are quite active and it was still so exhausting!) but we made sure they knew that we loved it. The water is chilly-ish and has a lot of rocks; water shoes made a huge difference! Zippys Bar, right where the surfing is, was a welcome break after all the hard work and even had live music.
If you have an open mind, know how hard it will be, and can laugh about the likely falls, you’ll have so much fun! Highly, highly recommend!
Sergio was great! He confirmed our arrival time, he met us at the beach, and made the lesson go smoothly. He was consistent with his follow ups to ensure that we had all the info we needed before arrival. The surf lesson was perfect, and the waves were fun. We had a blast!

Sergio was the most kind and fun teacher we could have had for surfing lessons. He’s super funny and very patient with your experience in learning to surf. I caught some really good waves and he made sure to let my wife and I know how happy he was for our success.
He also provided a scratch surf t-shirt and gave us cold water bottles.
Oh yeah, did I mention he won the national Mexico surf championship here in Cabo in 2006? Yeah so he definitely knows what he’s doing.
Don’t go expecting to be a pro though after your lesson. I’m a very athletic person and can easily pick up new sports(plus I skateboard) so it was really easy for me to get the hang of it and ride some good waves.
My wife on the other hand had a harder time and didn’t get to really ride any waves until the last couple of waves that came by.
With that being said, this isn’t a one-time thing. Be prepared to throw away those nerves and false expectations of what surfing is. Surfing is a very patient, slow, yet thrilling sport. This should be your launch pad into a lifetime of surfing just like it will be for my wife and I. And Sergio was definitely the perfect launch pad for us to go out by ourselves and practice more and more.
So so good he was the best teacher and super kind and paddled us out and helpful would recommend to any beginners but had such a good eye for the waves good for advanced too knows the best spots
Excellent time, great coaching and really nice guy! It was our first day of surfing and he made it awesome. If I could give 6 stars, I would!!
