This is definitely for younger kids. Not great for adults. The best part was the very end where they did a very short demonstration. And tasting.

Brilliant time but was quite busy. Good demonstration and plenty of chocolate to try. Good value for money.
No one turned up and the museum was closed. I messaged the provider and Viator but no reply from either.

The museum was indeed closed on December 25th. Due to an error in our booking system, one time slot unfortunately remained available. We attempted to contact all 9 affected visitors by phone on December 24th, but the number provided for your booking could not be reached.
Your tickets have been fully refunded, and we sincerely apologise for the frustration this situation caused. We are also working on our system to ensure this does not happen again.
We hope to welcome you on another occasion under better circumstances.
Went with your family, It would be better if it is more staffed. My kids didn’t enjoyed the place. I won’t recommend.

Not what was advertised was in and out in 5 mins very disappointed waste of time and money no praline as advertised unless you purchase some

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your visit was so disappointing and much shorter than expected — that’s certainly not the experience we want our visitors to have.
Regarding the praline: at the end of the visit we do offer a live demonstration showing how pralines are made, and during this demonstration visitors receive a freshly made praline to taste. You don’t need to purchase anything to receive this sample. If you missed the demonstration, it may be because it takes place at set times throughout the day, and it’s possible you arrived between two sessions. We apologise if this wasn’t clearly communicated during your visit.
We genuinely regret that the experience didn’t match what you expected, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Your feedback helps us improve clarity and the overall visitor experience.
We were welcomed with the smile. The host showed us the way to use the devise to listen the explanation. It is very thorough. At the end , chef chocolatier shows us how to make filled chocolate. Very good experience

Our aim is to provide a self-paced experience where you can explore the history, production, and culture of chocolate, complemented by interactive exhibits and a live demonstration at the end. We appreciate your comments and hope that others will still enjoy discovering chocolate in a fun and educational way at Choco-Story Brugge.
We’ve visited other chocolate museums in the United States, so we didn’t need the history of chocolate that bypasses the role of sugar and chocolate in the colonial slave trade. The free samples were not of good Belgian quality.

You will learn a lot about history and how chocolate is made. It was a great self guided tour. Using a mini phone that you simply tap on an icon then listen. I wouldn’t say good for kids under 12 at all, most would be bore. The pace and time spent at each numbered station is great. Building was cool as well. Beware this is not a guided tour with a human leading the way.

Tourist trap. Do not waste your time doing this. There are many other things to see in Bruges. Not good.

It's an interesting place to spend an hour or two. It's a self-guided tour over a few floors. The free tasting and demonstration were appreciated and it was interesting to see how modern equipment has revolutionised the trade.

This was not what we expected. Audio tour with several that didn’t work. Chocolate demonstration only if you arrived at a certain time and the tasting was a dispenser that spilled candy all over and looked rather uninviting.

Thank you very much then for your feedback. How sorry to hear that you had a not so good experience at our museum. We regularly monitor tasting sessions but during the busier periods, some people are quite ‘enthusiastic’ at the all you can eat. The chocolate demonstrations are every 15 minutes. There is a clock showing when the next demonstration starts.
Very boring. We only ONE piece of chocolate. We asked for another they said no. What a rip off. So sad :-(

Thank you very much for your feedback. We understand that some people visit the museum with certain expectations and that we cannot always meet them. The museum is an educational museum showing the history and production of cocoa and chocolate over the years.
At the end of the visit there are 4 dispensers with chocolate where you can take as many chocolates as you like. We also offer one freshly made praline per person. As they are made fresh on the spot and we receive a lot of visitors per days it is not possible to give more pralines per person at the end of the demonstration. The chocolate at the dispensers however are all-you-can-eat
We missed this experience since it was too far to walk from the bus drop off. would love to have seen this but was too far.

I was under the impression that this would be a guided tour. The "guide" was a series of recorded presentations, mostly on the history of chocolate. Few samples. Not worth the price.

Thank you for your feedback. The museum is indeed not guided but you can visit with an audio guide. This way people can choose what information to listen to and what information they want to skip.
Some people prefer to stay in the museum for several hours, others only want to have a quick visit. With an actual guide it is not possible to please both types of visitors.
At the end of the visit there are indeed as many tasters as you would like to eat.
Interesting visit with plenty of information and interactive activities. Demonstration and tasting 😋 good.

This was a great little musuem. We got audio guides and they do a child's version that my 4 year old loved using and did listen to. A really nice way to learn about chocolate, lots of clever and interactive ways of showing the story. And all you can eat chocolate buttons at the end!

An over-crowded museum and not at all the experience that I and my family had expected. The ”chocolate-tasting” was just three bins of low-quality chocolate and self-service, not very pedagogic and not very hygienic. Overall not worth the price.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you haven't enjoyed your Choco-Story experience. During the summer holidays, weekends and rainy days it can indeed get rather busy in the museum.
Fortunately we have 4 different floors that you can go to when it gets to busy on one of other floors.
The chocolate that you can taste at the end of the visit are stored in 4 dispensers. You need to hold your hand under the dispenser, turn the handle and the chocolate falls in your hand. I can assure you, it is very hygienic.
The chocolate we give to taste is coverture chocolate. This is real belgian chocolate of the highest quality that the chocolatiers all over the city use to make pralines.
The museum layout discouraged the interest. Listening to the device and self guided tour is not my thing. I’m very disengage and lost interest completely after the 2nd room. Not worth the money we paid for the ticket.
