It’s a bit of a walk but well worth the effort. There were a lot of stories shared from history and many personal experiences. We highly recommend it if you want a much deeper look into the city and its cultural significance than we were hearing from people who took other more superficial tours.

    Lee_C, Sep 2026
Great tour! Lots of historical information & a nice walk to see all the top sights along with so many great recommendations.

    Fabulous Fun Tour

    Fred_S, Aug 2026
Maria was a fabulous guide. So knowledgeable, and so animated! She loves Brugge and explains why as she walks you through the town. Loved Maria and the tour.

Pascal was a great storyteller and guide. Learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend!

    difficult to understand

    DOUG_M, Aug 2026
the guide was from Spain and had such a strong accent, I missed much of what he was saying.....so we bailed out after 15 minutes or so. Others on the tour did not feel it was a problem though, so He seemed well informed on the history.

    Late and basic

    Bojan_S, Aug 2026
Late nearly 30 minutes. The stand in guide while enthusiastic explained things in very basic way. Disappointed.

    Amazing Walking Tour

    Gaurav_S, Aug 2026
Amazing walking tour, our tour guide was amazing, provided us with lots of history about the city, kept things fun and easy going. I would have given this 5 starts but taking one off as our tour started 30 minute late due to no show initially. Definately give them a chance :)

    No show guide

    Linda_M, Aug 2026
Never got to go, the guide was not at designated place. We waited 20 minutes and kept checking the area in the market square. Nowhere to be found! I got an email to join a tour at 5pm, but we had dinner reservations at 7. The email was at 5

    Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Linda! Our guide was at the designated place (right in front of the Belfry Tower), with the designated item (yellow umbrella) which stands out on a sunny day with no rain. 10 other people booked onto the same tour had no problem finding him.

    Great tour

    Predrag_L, Aug 2026
Very detailed tour guided with charismatic and knowledgeable tour guide Arthur. Highly recommend tour!

Amusing knowledgeable guide. Enjoyable for all ages.

    Anne_A, Aug 2026
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Arthur was very entertaining and made everyone welcome and even phoned us to let us know where he was waiting for us as we were a little lost. I took my 17 year old granddaughter with me as my mobility is limited and I use a stick. She was my photographer for the tour and we both thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories and local history. Had a good old laugh. Unfortunately we only lasted about an hour and a half as my knees had given up on me and I needed to sit down which was a shame. I would definitely recommend this tour. So good to have an English speaking guide and I’m sure that I will remember a lot of the facts from today. Gave Arthur a good tip which was well deserved.

    I didn’t catch her name...

    Jill_L, Aug 2026
I didn’t catch her name but she did the tour on July 30, 2026 at 14:00. She was absolutely fantastic. I love the details she gave us about Bruges. She took us to so many beautiful places- both historical buildings as well as views. Even got to taste a truffle at a chocolate shop. We learned so much about this city. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about this fairy tale city!

The exceptional story teller : Pascal

    Parminder_S, Jul 2026
Pascal has an exceptional gift for bringing history and stories to life. He kept us engaged throughout the entire tour, and his storytelling was truly captivating. The way he narrated each event painted such a vivid picture that it felt as though we were witnessing history unfold right before our eyes. Pascal has an incredible talent, and I would highly recommend his tour to anyone visiting Bruges. Thank you for making the experience so memorable!

A good story is very subjective

    Tarra_H, Jun 2026
It's a very common thing to do-- there will be lots of groups on a similar route, May belong difficult to hear or move along the sidewalks. There's no sitting for 2 hours. And much depends on your guide.
