Our guide, Gianna, was friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful tour guide. It felt like we were on a private tour and she made great effort to help us feel comfortable during the walk/tour. Democracy Now Brewery was awesome! Overall, it was a fantastic tour experience and we would highly recommend it.

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Sara, thank you! We love to see "highly recommend!" Gianna brings both history knowledge and warm personality to her tours, and our small groups help everyone feel engaged. And we're so glad you enjoyed Democracy Brewing, with whom we're excited to partner.

A small group (16 or fewer) walking tour. Easy pace. Excellent historical narrative. Nick, our guide, pointed out details of Boston’s past that you won’t find in your American History textbook. And the tour ended with a nice lunch and a tasty beer at Democracy Brewing. Five stars for this tour.

Response from Host, Feb 2025

Mary, thank you for the fabulous review of Nick's History Tour and Brewery Taste! So happy to hear that Nick brought history you hadn't heard before to light. We agree, there's no better place to share that history (and a good beer) than Democracy Brewing.

John was fantastic! We had a small group (just myself and a friend) and it was so nice to be able to ask a lot of questions and really get a full experience! The restaurant/brewery was also exceptional!

Response from Host, Dec 2024

We're so glad you enjoyed our History Lunch experience, Audrey! Jon is a local historian and archivist, and we're thrilled you got to experience Boston--and delicious beer!--with him. Thanks for the five stars!

Great Tour!

Great insight by Jon during what was a easy, short walk from Northend to Boston Common. The best part was the cemetery.

Response from Host, Dec 2024

Boston's historic burying grounds are some of our favorite sites too, Kane! We're so glad you enjoyed touring with Jon, and thank you for this lovely testimonial!
