This was an excellent experience. Both of the brothers were really knowledgeable and engaging. We sampled 3 wines with food, and we also made our own wine. You will learn how to taste and blend wine, so this is a great class if you're new to Bordeaux wine. Would recommend 100%

It was absolutely wonderful! I recommend as to do list while in Bordeaux. Atmosphere , teacher, wine was wonderful! I will do it again! Many merci again!

Highly recommended! Great opportunity to learn about this aspect of wine culture, especially coming from the US where wines are typically single varietals. Blending wasn't covered in any other wine tours or tastings we took in the two weeks we were in France. We took this tour near the end of our trip to France, and it was a good opportunity to review all of the information we learned about wine making and culture. Our host was very informative and English is his native language. We enjoyed meeting our fellow travelers, too.

It was an amazing experience. We learned a lot, had tons of fun tasting and creating our own bottle. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Bordeaux and would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting. The fact that now I get to bring home a bottle of "my own" wine is something I will always remember. Thank you for everything, it was amazing!

This experience was not what was advertised. The title of the experience was making your own cuvée of wine. No cuvée was made. This was actually just a wine tasting with a lecture about Bordeaux wine making.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Hello Michelle,
I am ever so sorry, I got it completly wrong when I looked at my tasting agenda on that day.
Again, all my appologies for the mix up.
Kind regards
addison_b, May 2025
This experience is not as advertised. You do not make your own wine, and it is less than two hours long (not the 2.5 hours that is advertised). We got about three ounces of wine for three different type of wine. While it was informative and the wine we tasted was good, this experience is nothing like it is advertised.

The guides give you a history of the bordeaux wines as well as going into depth about why each wine tastes how it does. Everything is explained in a really interesting and fun way, and making our own wine with our new knowledge was such a fantastic experience. Highly recommend

Great event. We learned a lot and had a fun time. The instructor was great. He was super knowledgeable. Blending our own wine was super. It was fun to bring home a wine of our own creation.

This experience was one of the highlights of my trip! Pierre and Geoffroy are personable and very knowledgeable about the different wine regions in Bordeaux. I highly recommend this experience, you want be disappointed!

We had done several wine tours around Bordeaux but we still learned something new here! Guides were funny and wonderful. I would recommend the make your own bottle of wine as it was a fun and nice souvenir and didn’t take too long to make. I would do this experience again!

Excellent!!
Learned about wine regions, aromas, and taste.
The wine making was also a do not miss!!
I highly recommend this for all even if you know wines.

Great value for money. Really enjoyable to have a tasting first then making your own wine. Both brothers presenting were very welcoming.

This was excellent from start to finish. Price vs Experience = excellent. This was one of the few things that is priced correct in France - not too expensive and not too cheap. The tasting was good, all 3 were good choices and had diversity. The blend of people showing up were great. The blind tasting was a good choice, we do this in North America. Making your own wine was fun and it was explained very well. I would say of everything it's hard to pick a weak point. They might add a 4th or 5th choice to making wine, a small percentage. For example, up to 10% petit verdot or pinot or gamay. It's so good, it's hard to find a negative.

This experience was above our expectations! These two brothers are so knowledgeable yet so fun! This time was about 3 hours yet it went so fast! I highly recommend it!!

This was an in-depth class in Bordeaux wines. It's not just a sip and dash. We learned about how to tell the difference between to various wines of the area with a guided tasting, then an assisted tasting, and then a blind tasting to give us a chance to use what we've learned. I feel a lot more confident about judging the Bordeaux wine I was drinking the rest of the trip.
And then using the knowledge we acquired, it was fun to make our own bottle to our personal tastes.

We first did a wine tasting and learned about aspects of wines such as smell, taste, tannins etc. we then tried different types of wine and created our own bottle with specific percentages

A very personal experience. Learnt a lot about the region and tried some great wines. A real highlight of our trip.

Great time. Informative and entertaining few hours. Certainly not your short sharp tasting you tend to get in Bordeaux. 😁👍

We had a great tasting and education. Even though I have been to many wine tastings I still learned something. The visuals are really nice. The part where we made our own wine was fun and educational. I highly recommend this experience. The brothers are great ad the wine shop has a nice selection.

The experience was awesome! You can learning more here in 3 hours than from reading a 300 page book on wine. The brothers have amazing energy! After providing an overview of Left Bank/Right Bank/Entre-Deux-Mers and tasting basics, we proceeded to applying our skills in a blind tasting. Later, we got to make our own blend from three varieties. One thing I would suggest, is trying to smell and taste all 3 varieties side-by-side, as opposed to sequentially, because that will really allow you to understand how Cabernet Sauvignon gives the tannic structure to the wine, whereas Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Malbec allow you to balance acid and aromas, creating complexity. Overall, this experience is a Must Do in Bordeaux!

It was a delightful experience! The wine instructor was gummy and friendly and his English was excellent. We learned a lot and it was a treat to make our own bottle of wine.

When I had my own wine in my hands. Nice sensation! The brothers are very kind.
They could tell a little more about their own family wine history.
Emily_B, Mar 2023
Really fun activity. Very informative, good atmosphere and generous servings of the wine.
Making a bottle at the end was a lot of fun and makes you think about the process of wine making.
Highly recommend for an afternoon activity
Thanks guys.

Learned so much from the brothers. It was very informative and a great venue. Highly recommend. Great wine selection as well !!!

Never been to a wine tasting experience where I learnt so much about the different wine making and tasting techniques. There’s a general wine tasting experience followed by the add-on of making our own bottle blend, and it was super fun to try. The wine shop downstairs has a good selection of decently-priced and good quality wines too.

We spent an excellent afternoon learning about the West and East Bank , mixing of wines and tasting. Highly recommend .

Four friends on a France wine tour. This was a great instructional class to learn about wine tasting and wines in the Bordeaux region. We were also able to make our own blends. Hands down this is one of the best classes we have done.
Casual, fun and friendly. The Two Brothers make you feel like family. Highly recommend!
Samantha_P, Sep 2021
Wow, I think we learned more about wine in this class than anywhere before. Part tasting then part making your own wine - this was such a fun and great experience. Such a cool opportunity to make and bottle your own wine blends! We look forward to tasting our wines and highly recommend this. We told everyone we met in Bordeaux after that they must go!
Gayle_K, Mar 2020
This was such a fun experience! The brothers are very educated and presented the tasting in an easy to understand, fun to learn way. Including soil samples was an interesting touch as it made it easier to see why some areas of Bordeaux grow different grapes than others. Tasting each wine helped us to determine what we wanted our own blends to be and leaving with our own bottle was icing on the cake. I did this experience with my husband and daugher and we are actually planning a blind tasting to see which of our blends we prefer best. I highly recommend this fun night.
Jade_J, Feb 2020
The experience was equal parts educational and entertaining. The brothers are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm really shows in how they deliver this experience. We start with the history of wine in Bordeaux, then move on to types of wine and experiencing wine tasting before creating your own blends. Be warned though, that if you prefer only white wine, you may be disappointed - this is a red wine experience!
