One of the best tours we’ve been on. Andrew and Desmond were so helpful and knowledgeable. Learned so much about Hawaii. The lunch wasn’t one of those everyone gets the same but ordered off a menu and the food was trrrific.

This was the best tour I've been on!! The guides were super informative and nice. We parked in the wrong parking lot and they said not to worry and picked us up and dropped us back off. They went above and beyond my expectations and I will absolutely tour with these great guys again! Thanks guys ❤️

Not only were the guides knowledgeable and super friendly, the in-vehicle history lessons throughout the trip with the photos on the screen was next level entertaining. The show and tell artifacts passed from hand to hand also made the tour extra special compared to others I’ve been on. Additionally the option to sit down at lunch and order anything from the menu, plus, later, the fresh fruit snack and the Mac nut treats all made my belly happy. You could see some of these places on your own but if you did you’d miss the deep dive into Hawaii’s culture and history. Desmond and Anthony were fantastic hosts!

We had a great time on this tour. The hosts were great. Friendly and knowledgeable, they did a lot of extra things like taking pictures for us, providing us with free chocolates and fresh fruit! Also provided a great lunch at a local restaurant.

This was a great tour and we had 2 amazing guides, they were so fun and extremely knowledgeable. I have mobility issues and they were great in insuring that I was able to manage. I highly recommend Anthony and Desmond they made the experience for us. 2 gentlemen. The Lava Tube is a bit of a walk with stairs but if you take it easy it is manageable. Lights were off for our visit whi h made it that bit more entertaining for the kids.

Anthony & Desmond were fabulous!
I thought we'd see more waterfalls.
The food for lunch was good. The waitress was rude to our group. She seemed to be more concerned about her big group that was coming in rather than our group. Waited on & served people that came in after us.
The fruit break was a wonderful surprise.

Desmond and Anthony were a great tour guide team! We learned about the history, plants/animals and interesting facts about the big island. They were so kind, friendly, making us feel like family. They were even willing to double back if the volcano erupted as it was smoking quite a bit the day of our tour. Would highly recommend this tour!

This was one of the more thoughtful guided tours I have ever been on. Desmond and Anthony were both so kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about this island as well as the guest experience. The tour van was comfortable and safe. The knowledge about the plant and animal life, as well as a deep understanding of the volcano itself left us with a better understanding of the island. The food was a nice local restaurant with really fresh food. They took us to an excellent beach where we saw lots of sea turtles and a seal. They surprised us with local chocolates and fruit. I would recommend to everyone. 10/10 all the way!

Anthony and Desmond were amazing! What a special day it was traveling with them. Their passion for the Big Island shines throughout the tour. A perfect group size, not too big and nott too small. It was our first time trying an excursion outside of our onboard cruise offerings and thank goodness we did it. We highly recommend spending your time with them. For us it was the perfect amount of time at each location. We hit all the key spots, experienced some magical views and learned so much about the Big Island. We avoided a lot of the tourist trap stops that a lot of the other tour companies tend to include. If you only have one day in Hilo or on the Big Island this is the tour to take. Lunch was great, our mode of transportation was perfect. Anthony and Desmond made sure to care for us all, fulfill any special requests and made sure we had all the pictures of us we needed making sure that all those wonderful moments were captured. This was so much better than we could have ever expected. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Great day out, waterfalls, volcano and lava tubes along with visiting a black sand beach and seeing many turtles.
The 2 tour guides where brilliant, fun and knowledgeable about the places we were seeing and about Hawaii / big island and the culture & history. A must do when you visit the big island.

This was a fantastic tour, small group so the guides were able to provide a lot of background on the island and we had sufficient time at each stop to visit. The afternoon snack of fresh local fruit was delicious! I highly recommend this for families or individuals.

Took the tour recently! Friendly, professional, and all around nice guys. You basically get an entire history lesson of the Big Island and Hawaii in general throughout the 5+ hours. Absolutely incredible time for our family. Worth every penny. Desmond is the best and pointed out so many interesting things on our various walks! Highly recommended!!

What a fun day! First off, let me say how much we enjoyed Desmond and Anthony! So knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We started at Rainbow Falls, then Volcanoes National Park to see the crater, steam vents, and lava tube. Next was a nice lunch at the Lava Rock Cafe (the Loco Moco was delicious!) and then on to the Black Sand Beach where we got lucky enough to see a sea turtle! When we got back to the van they had delicious fresh fruit waiting for us! Banana, papaya, and pineapple. So fresh, delicious, and refreshing after the beach! Then on the way back, lots of interesting history to hear about, Hawaiian music to listen to and artifacts to look at and touch. Last stop was Hilo Bay and the Japanese Garden for some quick pics before drop off. Such an awesome day, we saw so much, had a lot of fun, and learned a lot too! Highly recommended!

Desmond and Anthony were amazing. They weee so knowledgeable and kind. Desmond showed us some amazing Hawai’i artifacts. When we were at Rainbow Falls he also led us back to the most amazing banyan tree and took our picture for us. Tony was a great story teller he even kept my 16 year olds attention. Lunch was good but they forgot to put chicken on my chow fun. It wasn’t a big deal to me but when I mentioned it to Desmond he and Tony apologized and the owner of the actually comped my ticket. That kind of service is so rare. The tour itself was fantastic. We saw a turtle nesting and Volcano national park was fascinating. I wish I could do more tours with Anthony and Desmond.

Expect long drives to Volcano National Park but so pretty to see variety of nature along the way. Once at the park we did enjoy a short walk and then walk through the lava tube. We did get to see wisps of smoke from Kilauea but no fountain that day. Then the drive down to see the black sand beach exposes you to more interesting vistas. Lunch was a lovely sit down in a local cafe, nice opportunity to speak with fellow travelers. Having a driver plus a guide meant we were introduced to pictures and artifacts along the way - very nice day.

An amazing tour. Damien and Tony (?) Were just amazing. So much knowledge and artifacts passed around. Like being in a museum but you got to touch everything. Could not have been a better excursion! So very glad we booked this!
