We had a brilliant time on this tour and we would thoroughly recommend it. The whole day ran like clockwork and our driver kept us entertained with some great stories and jokes. We saw beautiful little villages and stunning coastal views. Something for everyone!

Excellent Experience but poor bus

Eisha_A, Apr 2026
It was a perfectly planned and a beautiful road trip with an excellent bus driver + host but the bus quality could have been better.

Highly professional Driver tour guide Highly recommended for family

Guide was really nice and friendly, the thing is if you are sitting after the fourth rows you would not hear anything... Only one thing about game of throne is the wall of Night Watch. Overall good experience as the site was amazing.

An unforgettable nature tour experience

JuanCarlos_C, Dec 2025
This tour was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Visiting The Dark Hedges was incredible — atmospheric, mysterious, and truly iconic. The stop at the distillery was another highlight; the whisky was delicious and tasting it was very well done. Giant’s Causeway was simply spectacular — magical, unique, and unlike anything else. Every stop felt special and perfectly timed. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the most impressive and memorable places in Northern Ireland.

Disappointed

Sara_F, Aug 2025
1. Contacted vendor regarding meeting point question. Vendor was rude. 2. Bus was very late. 3. The bus was in poor condition. The air conditioner did not work and referring to the bus as luxurious is false advertisement. 4. We arrived at the 1st stop (castle) but were told driver couldn’t park so we couldn’t get off the bus. Driver could have let us off and picked us up instead of not letting us visit the castle. 5. One point of interest was not even mentioned.

Poorly organised!

Jhanvi_C, Aug 2025
The time table of the entire trip was not properly mentioned on the app. My trip was with Allen travels and it was a hot summer day, the AC was not at all working on the coach. That's 8 hours without AC. The Hedges Hotel they took us to, of course was unpaid but the food there was horrible as well. Overall, it was poorly organised.

A day Tour

Denise_T, Aug 2025
The whole tour was fun and filled with fun facts of Ireland. We were impressed with the driver. The only thing it was hot on the bus.

Nicola_K, Jun 2025
The tour was good and we got to see a lot. We and quite a few others couldn't hear the tour guide at all on the coach. We all mentioned it but it kept not working and the sound was awful. Maybe invest in updating it? Didn't need 30 minutes at the distillery as not much to do and we felt rushed having our lunch.

Emily_B, Jun 2025
I was nervous at first, because there seemed to be very poor communication and organization with Allen's. However, once we got going, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Some more time at a couple of places would have been nice, or at least a stop at some of the castles and ruins that were just "drive bys". However, the scenic drive and rock formations were incredible.

Wonderful day out

Day trip to giants causeway

Suzanne_B, Jun 2025
Comfortable bus, you’re on there for a while. Marty our driver was a great host, with lots of information and laughter.

Beautiful but so disorganized

Linda_W, May 2025
Was expecting a coach not a minibus. Wasn’t on time. Arrived 20 mins late then lots of pickups. Some that driver was unaware of. We missed out on the Whiskey Distillery and the final castle. Coach wasn't up to standard. We loved everything we did see however a once in a lifetime trip was marred by lack of organisation. Not happy with the operator. Would definetly go again but not with this operator

Rude drive and false advertisement

Sarah_C, May 2025
The day started really well, the Driver/guide Lindsay was very nice and had great stories to tell. Then he got really mad and started yelling and telling people to shut up (some of them were actually whispering to translate what he was saying). He was seriously overreacting and being very very rude and unprofessional. He stop commenting so we had 0 information and had to ask other tours for some information on the location. The stop at the « wall » was actually a very nice bonus. The stop at the rope bridge is FALSE advertisement. You are so far away you cannot see anything. You do not go on it. See photo The stop for lunch is not great. For some reason they did not drop us are the pick up location but dropped us of at city hall. We felt rushed at every stop. The other companies seemed better and had friendly drivers.

Giants Causeway Trip

Gary_N, Jan 2025
Fantastic service from collection to the end very well planned and our driver was very patient. Would definitely recommend.

Don’t miss this!

Elizabeth_S, Oct 2024
Breathtaking ride up the coast! Terrific hike throughout the Causeway. Very cool to see GOT sites. We had a great lunch and a nice walk through Dark Hedges as well. Tour guide was so knowledgable. The whole trip was on time and so interesting.

Full and interesting day

Steve_C, Sep 2024
A varied and interesting tour with an entertaining commentary from our driver/guide, Marty. The visit to the stones was fascinating and the Dark Hedges was a great place for lunch. Also took in brief visits to Carrickfergus Castle and Bushmills Distillery.

Response from Host, Sep 2024

Thanks, Steve! - delighted to hear you enjoyed your tour with us.

It was an amazing experience

kasengua_M, Sep 2024
I loved the whole journey and the tour guide was very informative. But I wish I had done the carrick a ride bridge even if it was for an extra hour at own expense. Hope next time you can consider that for those who are willing

Response from Host, Sep 2024

Thanks very much for your review!

Harry_s, Aug 2024
Lunch stop had very limited options for a place to sit and eat, if you get your own food, especially when the weather isn't good

First visit to Belfast

Michael_B, Jul 2024
loved the driver and the places we visited, however the coach was an hour late picking us up, a text message to let us know and keep us informed would have been nice as my grandson has autism and was not very happy about it, they did extend the trip by an hour to make up for it but it was a little annoying at the time to be fair currently Belfast does have quite a few road works going on. Otherwise a very good trip .

Fun trip

Steve_R, Apr 2024
Ben was a cracking guide. Informative and entertaining. Giants causeway was the highlight of the day

Excellent Tour

Response from Host, Apr 2024

A must-do trip for nature lovers and Game of Thrones fans!!!! Great Value. Good services. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Thank you! We appreciate your comments and thanks for booking a tour with us.

Well worth it

JODY_E, Oct 2023
Weather made it difficult to see most of the site. But the causeway. Dark hedges and castle weed well worth the tour.

Great trip

Alison_M, Sep 2023
This is a great trip with plenty of time to view each attraction. The guide was informative and had a good sense of humour

Misled and cheated

john_c, Sep 2023
The causeway was excellent However I was totally disappointed with the game of thrones sites . To be told whilst the coach was travelling, if you look to your left across the field at the farmhouse there are some caves to the left where they shot scenes for the series . And again down the valley on the right was another place where they did filming . All while the coach was travelling, I found that insulting , to claim that we were taken to actual sites where they filmed scenes for Game of Thrones . It's false advertising to say the least as it totally misleads your expectations and should be removed from the description of the trip .

A long hot journey from hell!

Susan_K, Sep 2023
A journey from hell! The coach was very hot, the guide left his mike on which whistled and screeched when he stopped talking. He constantly said things like "I think" and "we gone the wrong way". Our pick up was 25 minutes late. We then stopped after after 30 minutes for a loo stop, then again at a terrible place for lunch, minutes after getting back on the coach he asked for a show of hands for people "wanting to stop for a further 15 minutes for refreshments before getting the Causeway and thus losing 15 minutes from our time at the Causeway. Needless to say the vast majority of us didn't." He seemed genuinely surprised when at least 10 of us got off the coach as soon as we could when back in Belfast. I long tiring, hot day, had I known we would spend 6 hours sitting on a coach I wouldn't have gone. The guide also admitted he knew noting about the GoT element of the tour.

Response from Host, Sep 2023

You travelled on the hottest day of the year which was great for everyone you did not spend 6 hours on the coach that is just a lie also your pick up was not 25 minutes late you requested a later pick up which of course is going to be later it was nice of the guide to offer you an extra stop for refreshments seeing as it was the hottest day of the year but somehow you are complaining about that gesture funny how people like you never complain in person. Keyboard warrior

Take another tour option

Bonnie_M, Jun 2023
This tour was run by “Allan’s Tour Bus”Hot day, no AC, you could not properly hear driver talk, speakers were all static, a couple asked for a refund, the bus Company told them they had to find their own way back if they wanted a refund - they refused so they were driven to police station. The whole bus full of people had to sit on side of road.while they worked this out at police station- Very bad experience.

Response from Host, Jun 2023

You have no idea why the people were asked to leave the bus all I will say is you must be in the Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris fan club and if you dont know who they are go look it up Know it all

Coach was old and dirty,...

Kevin_S, Jun 2023
Coach was old and dirty, no air con. Stopping at a pub with inflated prices for over an hour didn’t feel like a good use of time.
