Overall, it was a nice trip, but we were very dissatisfied with the canceling of the walk over the footbridge from Game of Thrones. We weren't even offered any financial reimbursement for the elimination of this activity from the itinerary.
This was amazing David our coach driver was really funny and informative, it was a lovely day out, I felt that the only thing that kept it down just slightly is that I thought there would be more photo opportunities at filming locations however this did not ruin it, the giants Causeway was breath taking. Definitely would recommend this trip.
The coach trip to and from Belfast city centre is great for cramming in several tourist sites in one day. You are given sufficient time to explore each location.
Having the option to eat at The Hedges Hotel made the experience even more enjoyable.
Troy, coach driver, was awesome. You'll be in safe hands should he be your tour operator.
The tour was supposed to be 9.6 hours and ended up being 12 because the bus broke down. The ride between the first and second stop was much longer than expected. Troy did a great job of narrating throughout the day. It was just a very long day and we only to got to view the last castle from afar because of the mechanical mishap.
We had a wonderful trip from Belfast to the Giant’s Causeway today! Even though it was quite cold, we enjoyed every moment.
A big thank you to our Troy. He made the whole experience so fun and memorable. We will never forget him pointing out his “grandma” waving from a window… only for us to later realize it was actually a poster! 🤣

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The guide was knowledgeful and funny. It was worth the price. Lunch at the Dark Hedges was delicious. Giant Causeway was fantastic.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide Stuart was so knowledgeable and funny. Obviously takes a lot of his own time to be able to help all his guests with all sorts of information.

This was a great tour Hugh our driver was awesome I loved how he had a soundtrack for the tour, made it extra special.
Even through the typical Irish weather of 5 mins sun / 5 mins sideways rain, the tour was still absolutely enjoyable as the locations we went to were amazing and also because of our tourguide/driver, Dave. He was very knowledgeable, had lots of stories and was really fun!

Giants Causeway was spectacular and may have been the highlight of our trip (Cruise of the Briotish Isles). And the Game of Thrones stops and locations were a fun addition to the tour and will probably encourage us to watch the show again so we see the scens as they were in the series.Our driver, Dave, was amazing with his driving skills and his tour guide stories.
Absolutely loved how inclusive this tour was! We saw so many sites. It was a long day and it was a bit disappointing that the rope bridge was closed. I do wish it was made clearer in the description that there is a fair amount of walking required to reach the actual sites. Also that you should bring some cash with you. Very disappointing that the only gift shop at the Giants Causeway charges an entrance fee since it is in the Visitors Center. The bus itself was completely full and the seats are a bit narrow. It did get quite warm in the bus at times. Our driver, David, was an absolute gem and an amazing driver! I would not recommend this tour for anyone with small children. They will be bored to tears.

As a general tour, this was was fine. The guy giving our tour on the coach was friendly and informative, the regular stops broke up the journey and was overall a nice experience (good driver). However, this was not really a Game of Thrones tour. I booked this with my dad as we are both fans of the show and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone actually hoping to hear a bit about GoT. The description says "insider information" from the guide (he clearly had never watched the show and only mentioned that were going to filming locations, nothing else about the spots), props for photos at the dark hedges which were not prompted or provided, we didn't go to Balintoy Harbour because it is apparently hard to access from the coach, and there was little mention of the show throughout. So whilst the sights were beautiful I could have booked a different tour and actually had a GoT tour, skip this tour and find something different.
First let me say, I've used Viator tours many times in many countries and I have always been extremely satisfied. However, this time I feel it was poorly run. The people running the operation did a terrible job of communicating. For example when you checked-in, they tell you to go stand in front and they will come get you when it's time to go and they will escort you to the bus. Well they have 3 tours going, about 90 people waiting and standing on the sidewalk on a major intersection, when one guy walks out, doesn't say anything and just starts walking down the street. Half the people follow him and half the people stay back. Some people start to panic so one woman runs back inside and the guy inside tells her, "Ya, everyone should follow him". So everyone walks a block and a half away, they all board the bus and now there aren't enough seats. We wasted a half hour while the guy on the bus did name checks and telephone calls and got people off and rerouted them to other busses.
Then we could not do one stop because the bus was too big to fit down one of the roads. Our tour guide Ronnie did a great job and our driver Dave did an excellent job driving. Viator tours are very good and I highly recommend them.
My issues is with this tour operator "Irish Tours". They did a terrible job. They have no organizational skills. They're situated on the corner of two major intersections. They have no waiting room and sending everyone outside to wait and not maintaining communication with your customers is no way to run a business.
A great day out. This tour showcases the best Northern Ireland has to offer. Our driver/guide Stuart was an excellent ambassador for his country.
The cave where the Red Queen gave birth. Food at the hotel was terrible but the Dark Hedge pantry looked better.
I was really looking forward to this tour as I'm a GOT fan and I was looking forward to hearing stories about the show, The driver had one story, he drove Maisey Williams to a location site, once. That was his story. The bus had no way to charge your phones or WiFi. The tour guide spent the first 15 minutes explaining why we wouldn't be going to one of the site listed on the tour because they were charging for parking and the tour company was not going to pay for that. So we missed the rope bridge site, even though it was still listed on the web up to the day we took the tour. I did not feel like I got my moneys worth.
Although we have never seen Game of Thrones we still thoroughly enjoyed all the places we visited.
The fact that the sites were connected to G of T was irrelevant, they were all interesting in their own right.
Fantastic tour , Lisa the guide was very knowledgeable and very clear with times to be back on coach after each stop . Very enjoyable day and great value. Steve the driver was excellent too , very friendly great chap :-) would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed every part of the tour and loved the views of the coastal drive, we even got to see dolphins on the way to the Giant causeway. Belfast surroundings were amazing and Stuart our tour guide was wonderful.

Not sure why rope bridge was not covered. We returned Belfast before 1 hour even thought the returning time was at 6.30pm. Could have spent atleast 1 hour there.
As all excursions, we have to understand that minutes are crucial and we usually don’t have enough time to see everything in depth . That is ok ! But what made me really disappointed was the fact that , on the first stop, the tour guide simply left the place without me and my friends ! We were about 5 min late . When we saw the bus going away, we run after it and started screaming !!! Then , he stopped the bus and let us get in . I just wondered why he had not counted the number of people cause then he would have realized that there were 3 people missing !!! .. Anyway, what if he had not seen us and had not stopped? Such a lack of attention

Hello,
I believe you where late back to the tour bus and the guide had to go looking for you.
As you never arrived back on time, holding the other passengers up who arrived back on time.
Having spoke with the guide you arrived back 20 minutes late.
Its important not to be selfish and understand in order to keep with the timings we have for the tour you need to arrive back on time.
Some travellers need to catch a taxi straight away when we return to Belfast in the agreed timings to the airport.
Hopefully you can learn the next time you travel to keep to the times given to you by the guide!
Apart from reading your review i do not see anyother complaints and will assume you had a good time otherwise!
