Brilliant tour visiting amazing attractions.
Paddy the coach driver was great and very knowledgeable.
The driver gave us a great tour. Plenty of information about the areas, historic sites and people from those areas. Enough time for food and site visits. The weather was dry with some sunshine. It was windy and a coat is a good idea.
We would go on this trip again.
We thought that the visitors centre should allow visitors in without a pass which cost £18.00. The hotel very close by were very accommodating to get tea, coffee or food.
Wow!! That's the first thing that comes to mind. Matt was really knowledgeable, kept the laughter going, and even though the rain came down at Giants Causeway, the tour was incredible.
I traveled today as an interpreter for a young man from the Deaf community. He enjoyed the tour, the historical insights and the overall experience.
From viewing the castles, to the rope bridge (which would have been extremely dangerous to participate in today with the strong winds), lunch and a brisk walk at Dark Hedges, enjoying a tipple of Bushills and finally the Causeway; it has all been great.
Thank you to the whole team for this experience. Matt, you'd do well at a comedy show. Excellent driving and storytelling. You deserve a good bonus.

Fabulous drive up the stunning coastline, plenty of time to take photos & take in the scenery. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the food smelled good & was served quickly. Our tour was with Allen’s Tours & the driver/guide was very knowledgeable & funny, he kept us entertained, not that we needed to be because the location was enough. Only gripe was him using his mobile phone while driving, twice! He had an issue with the coach door.
A superb full day with the Giants Causeway being the highlight.
The Giants Causeway has a great visitor centre but this is extra and quite expensive. The rocks you can walk to for free and they are “ A must see”
there was A LOT of driving and a wee bit of time for stops and photos. I took a similar tour several months ago and that driver told us of the Legend of Giants Causeway which is the highlight of the tour. The driver on this tour concentrated only on the historical facts which made it a bit boring
Full day of great sites and the best part is....you don't have to worry about driving. The Giant Causeway was awesome to see.
The coach driver Alister was very friendly, he clearly explained everything and he was a very careful driver.
Great tour to numerous sights in northern Ireland from Belfast. Sights included Carrickfergus Castle, Rede-A-Carrick Rope bridge viewpoint, the Dark Hedges, Bushmills Distillery, Giant’s Causeway, and a quick photo stop at Dunluce Castle ruins. Our guide, Patrick, was very informative about the sights and also gave us quite a bit of information about The Troubles. We covered a lot of sights for a very reasonable price and with a lot less effort than it would have been on our own.
You are lead to believe that the only place to eat at the Dark Hedges lunch stop is at the hotel. There is a deli to the left as starting the Dark Hedge tour. I feel like we were told to eat first and take our 10% off coupon so that the driver could get some sort of commission. I would have much preferred a cheaper sandwich. I can't eat that much and threw away most of my food. Or better yet, I should have brought my own food.
Overall, the eperience was nice. Just know there is another food option at the Dark Hedges. The meal without a drink wasn't outrageous. About $23 American dollars for the plate. It just wasn't even that good in my opinion.
We’ve had great experiences with Viator in the past, so this tour was disappointing. The visit to Giants Causeway was great (despite the rain) but the rest of the trip was photo stops only. There was no time to go inside Carrickfergus Castle or to walk the Rope Bridge. At Dark Hedges, we had a good lunch but the actual “dark hedges” was underwhelming-too many trees are gone now to give it the cool visual we expected. Obviously this isn’t the tour company’s fault. Our driver also stopped at a distillery which was not on the description. Even there, there wasn’t enough time to tour- only a rest stop and 5 minutes of shopping if you wanted. My recommendation is to go to Giants Causeway separately.
- Came 10 minutes late, we had to stand for more than half an hour on the sidewalk, beeing told to come 20 minutes earlier.
- Came already with people boarded, althogh advertised as only one pick up location was Leonardo hotel.
- Bus datted, dirty, broken parts, toiletout of order, door broken.
- Driver, Marty, with heavy irish accent, hard to understand was not friendly.
- Sites to visit included in itinerary were long walk from the parked bus.
- Wouldn't recomend Allens Tours.
We purposely booked this tour for the rope bridge and giants causeway. When we asked the driver when we are visiting the rope bridge, he asked us to get another bus or use public transport. This is after wasting too much time on not as important minor attractions, should have visited the main attractions as promised.
Excellent full day of travel to Giants Causeway and several more stops along the way Paul was our driver who offered very informative commentary and nice music too! He was always keeping us updated on timelines and safety in all areas. Thank you Paul for a fantastic day in Northern Ireland!
We went on a full day excursion which left us an hour and a half to experience the Giants Course Way.
There were lots of walks to do which we weren’t able to do because of the time issue, but it did not spoil the experience of it all.

We had a group of 12 and we each had a great time getting to see the giants causeway! The tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us ample time at each stop for us to enjoy and take in the views
A definite MUST SEE when visiting Northern Ireland. The Giant's Causeway was spectacular. The Dark Hedges was a disappointment - nothing like the photos seen online. Overall, the trip was well organised. Marty was both the driver & commentary provider. Great job.

We really enjoyed our day on this tour. The Giant’s Causeway was definitely the highlight and made the trip worthwhile. Overall, it was a great experience, and the guide and transportation were excellent. That said, make sure you read the itinerary carefully and understand exactly what’s included. The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is only a drive-by from quite a distance you can barely see it, so don’t expect to actually visit or get a good view of it. Also, because a few passengers needed to get back earlier, our schedule was adjusted and we had to skip the final stop on the itinerary. That was disappointing, but aside from that, we had a really enjoyable day.Overall, I’d recommend the tour just be sure you know what to expect before booking.
Great visit to giants causeway and dark hedges. Be aware you don’t get to visit the rope bridge except from very far away, so you might want to find a small group tour that actually takes you there instead. The lunch stop isn’t great but that’s not the tour’s fault
The bus used in this tour was not a designated Allens Bus and the sound system was not working so it was impossible to hear the bus driver's comments on the tour. This was pointed out to him several times but not fixed even in down periods.

Great trip and plenty of time at all sites. Comfortably bus and wonderful food stop. The Giants causeway was the best part.
We booked our trip for a tour of Carrickfergus Castle, Dunluce Castle, The Rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges, the Antrim Coast Road, The Bushmill Distillery, the Giants Causeway, and the Glens of Anteim. We saw only the ruins of a castle, The Giant's Causeway, the Bushmill Distillery, and The Dark Hedges. We purposely booked this tour for the rope bridge and the castles. We were switched to the express tour from our ship instead of what we paid for. We will not be using Allen Tours again.
A great bus trip never done one before but this trip was fantastic. Bus good with an excellent tour guide/ driver. Very funny and informative
Great way to see the Northern coast of Ireland. Several stops along the way and lots of interesting commentary from the guide.
A great day out. Comfortable bus and a very safe driver called Mike. He was very knowledgable and told us all about the history of every place we passed. The sites we saw were lovely and the highlight, the Giants Causeway, was as good as expected. The weather even behaved itself and only rained when we were on the bus. Very good value for money.
Wasted too much time on not as important minor attractions, should arrive the main attraction giant's causeway sooner and spend more time there ...
Driver / guide was late (15 min) to pick up our large group, it's raining too, not a good experience ... at the end, missed dark hedges as well
