What To Expect

After early evening pickup from your central Beijing hotel, travel by comfortable, air-conditioned coach to the venue for the opera: the Liyuan Theatre.

On arrival, you'll be assisted to your seat by theater staff. Take your seat in the auditorium and feel the anticipation build as showtime approaches. Then, join the applause at the curtain rises and the colorful performance begins.

Sitting was OK. Subtitles were displayed so fast that it was impossible to read the Opera's plot. No Scenography at all, very plain presentation considering Chinese full use of color and beautiful ornaments!
