I booked this after my small group tour was canceled due to not enough people. It was big mistake. They pack you in a giant bus with 30-40 people and the price includes basically nothing. Once you get on the bus they explain all the packages you can buy. Ended up being 3x the cost it said originally when you prepay here. The group is also so large at the summer palace that you keep loosing time waiting for everyone. SKIP this tour at all cost.

The Mutianyu Great Wall + Summer Palace group day tour is designed to visit two of Beijing’s most iconic attractions in one day, including round-trip transportation and entrance tickets to both sites. Any additional transportation within the scenic areas, is entirely optional and chosen at the guests’ own discretion. There are absolutely no compulsory purchases or pressure to participate in extra activities.

Selina was a great tour guide and very helpful! The timing between the great wall (morning) and summer palace (afternoon) was good, with plenty of time to look around and appreciate the scenery! I appreciate that the wall tour was early in the morning before it got too hot and busy!
