Wonderful tour with our guide Colin! We visited three outstanding wineries (Emile Breyer, Hegel, and Bott Geyl) and Colin provided an excellent overview of the history of the wine industry and the area in Alsace. A perfect day all around!

We just finished up our tour of Alsatian wineries with Colin and what a fantastic day we had! Colin picked us up at our hotel and along the way gave us stories and history and local wine knowledge before stopping at our first winery. Ultimately, we visited three wineries, two medieval towns, and a nice little Alsatian restaurant for lunch. The wines were all wonderful, and the company as well. Highly recommend!

Colin was a delightful driver and wine tour guide. The wineries we visited were excellent and we ended up buying quite a bit of wine to drink on the cruise!

This was one of the highlight tours. Our guide Mr. Colin Bell was a wine expert and so knowledgeable for all aspects of the vine and grape agriculture and wine production. His answers to our questions were thoughtfully provide with further explanation as needed. He interaction and knowledge of the wine tasting locations and personnel made for another level of tour information. We would rate this tour as 5 out of 5 for technical content, and knowledge of the region and ability to share this knowledge. The car was very clean and the Mr. Bell was able to provide commentary as he was driving to and from the villages and wineries. This is a tour that my wife and I would definitely recommend.

Great day out and thoroughly recommended. We were taken to places that we would never have thought of visiting. Tastings at the three vineyards were superb. Colin’s knowledge of his subject is vast and fascinating.

This was an amazing tour! My husband and I booked this full day tour for our honeymoon, and we had an amazing time. Colin was a superb tour guide, he taught us so much about wine and even tailored the tastings to what we liked. We went to several villages, four wineries, and even got to see a vineyard! My husband and I agreed this was the best tour we’ve been on!

I would give this tour 6 stars if I could! Colin picked us up at our hotel in Basel at 9am and we were off to Alsace. And it was just my wife and I. We tasted at four incredible wineries and had a delicious lunch at a little restaurant in Riquewihr where Colin had made a reservation. Colin was very knowledgeable of the history of Alsace and its wines. It was also fun to see how he was warmly greeted at each winery. He is obviously welcome at each and you will be also.

Colin did an excellent job of showing us the Alsace wine region. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the wines. We had many, many tastes form 4 wineries and it was a great experience. Would highly recommend to any wine enthusiast visiting the region to take a tour with Colin Bell.

This is the best wine tour I’ve ever had! Colin is a sommelier who really knows his wines! He went out of his way to show us the different grapes and hills where we would be sampling wines, and educate us on the various soils. It was a fabulous day!
