What a great day at Carlisle Bay! We purchased the beach chair/snorkel trip/lunch for the day at $60! Well worth it! Took a taxi and booked the taxi for the way back also which i would highly advise! All the staff were very accommodating including the girls down by the snorkel shack! We had second row of beach lounges and spent the entire day in the water which was one of the most beautiful waters that I have swam in the Caribbean! It was very festively decorated for Christmas! Highly recommend!

Everyone at Harbour Lights was friendly. Chairs and umbrella reserved with our names. Snorkeling was pretty and the guides did a good job of pointing out turtles while we were in the water. Lunch was yummy, bring some $$ for drinks. Would definitely visit again.

Worth it. Saw the ship wreck and was inches away from fishes. Got our own umbrella and chair rsvp. Friendly staff 10/10

Straight forward Beach Experience. Friendly staff, beautiful white sand beach, decent beach loungers but bring a towel, rental towels are $10.
Lunch food as you would expect on a beach.

Location and beach area was nice. I was thinking we would be actually at a resort but it was on a beach with reserved seats.
The snorkeling was not good at all. The boat had a hard time getting the passengers on board. Water was very rough and the boat could not get close enough to shore. Everyone got soaked along with our purses, beach bags and towels. My money and prescription drugs were completely emerse in water. My husband fell getting on the boat and so did my friend. Snorkeling was only a few feet away from shore! Glass bottom boat was ridiculous. The ladder steps coming out of the water onto the boat was so narrow and extremely painful of the feet. I would not recommend the snorkeling part of this tour.

All was as described. Easy taxi ride from the port - be sure you are very clear about where you are going & be aware they will jam the taxi full of people before taking you (which could mean multiple stops), so plan accordingly. Easy to get help finding our beach chairs, easy to get on the snorkeling tour, easy to get the provided lunch (multiple options and the food was just fine). Snorkeling tour was a separate company obviously, but they were good too - very friendly. Only saw one turtle briefly, so don't be crazy excited here...but the schools of fish around the shipwrecks are super cool. When we were ready to return to the ship, there was a taxi waiting and easy ride back to the port.

Easy day at the beach. Nice to have reserved chairs and we could order any lunch off the menu. The snorkeling was pretty crowded and not super peaceful but we did see a lot of fish at the second stop (shipwreck) and a couple of sea turtles at the first stop.

The beach day and snorkeling with turtles was the highlight of my 7 day cruise with our stop in Barbados. The staff was very attentive, the beach chairs and umbrellas had our names on them..showing they were reserved, the snorkeling staff were amazing and we saw 2 turtles as well as many schools of fish over the shipwrecks. The lunch was tasty even though drinks were not included. But for the price less than $60 per person...we were treated like royalty! Much cheaper than the ship excursion price...and the taxi back to the ship was only $5/person. 5+ star rating!

Chairs and Umbrellas are reserved literally with your name on it. Lunch was made to order...Fresh and delicious! The Beach is absolutely beautiful and the boat to go turtle searching and snorkeling was nice. We saw a turtle 🐢 Everyone was so nice! Highly recommend. Worth the price even with cruise ships in port. Had lots of fun. Will do it again.

Short $5 taxi ride to the place.
Total cost of $50 pp got you reserved chairs and umbrella, snorkeling with turtles and lunch.
The seas were rough so they had to cancel the snorkeling but refunded us $25 each.
Private showers and dedicated wait staff. The lunch was great. You can choose from full menu.
Plenty of taxis right outside for return to the ship for same $5 cost.
Highly recommend if you want a clean beach and friendly staff.

The beach in Barbados is very popular, so it gets quite crowded. My only criticism of this tour was that we weren’t aware that we needed to get a taxi from the cruise port. While the taxis were inexpensive (they were actually vans) they didn’t depart until full. The turtle and shipwreck cruise was fun, but pretty much just stayed close to the shore. Derek served us on the beach, and was very kind and attentive.

Absolutely beautiful spot to enjoy the beach! Easy check in. Beach chairs and umbrella were nice. Took the first snorkel tour- saw two turtles and lots of fish. (Try the slide- so much fun) Crew was very attentive and concerned for the turtles! Derek (runner) was quick and attentive. Lunch was delicious and large portions! Had showers and changing rooms too! They reserved the chairs in alphabetical order. If you’re traveling with friends or family with a different last name, it’s a good idea to book it all as one booking. It took us quite a while to get to be together. Also, my chair was in the sun and he told me I could just move it completely to the other side of the umbrella and I threatened a bad review unless he moved it which he did. I’m too old to be moving chairs around.

And basically left
No advice
I booked this as I’m travelling solo
It’s only 12USD
To have a lounger for the day
I paid £44 English
Option to swim with turtles that part was nice
Lunch was awful flies everywhere
A local beer was 3. times the amount
Of any where else
Not a good experience at all

Facility was great with lots of amenities. Drinks service was friendly and quick. Food was delicious. We did the turtle and shipwreck snorkel which was fun but felt very rushed and was crowded, even though we did the earliest one of the day. Had a good time and was a quick trip from the cruise terminal.

When we booked we didn’t know that this included the sea turtle experience and would not have booked this tour! Didn’t end up going on the sea turtle experience and couldn’t get a refund. Everything else was good but should have been a lot cheaper without the sea turtle experience.

The turtle snorkeling was fun and the boat guides were great. The lunch was good too. Beautiful beach. Beware of the drinks in the bar. The vodka was watered down. You are better off having their local bottled beer. It was also a good deal to get the lunch package. It’s only a $5 pp ride from the pier.

Organized. Seating, food, drinks are a bit over average. Snorkel is poor. Water is beautiful but has no reef for animals - and is too cloudy at 20+ ft for seeing much.

Illness prevented me from going, but my adult kids raved about their experience. Well run operation by friendly, helpful people. Ten minutes from cruise port by taxi. Pretty good food. We’d do it again.

Great price. Great tour. Beautiful beach. Staff was nice. It was convenient having the reserved chairs and umbrella. Only reason this was not a 5 star was how busy the staff was but, that's probably relative to the day. The turtles were cool too!

The beach was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! The turtle snorkel was a waste - crowded water with one turtle that they feed to get it to stay close - not a fan of that. I wish we had just stayed on the beach. Overall a fantastic day!

Everything about this was wonderful. It was a 5 minute tax ride from the cruise port. The employees were all super friendly. Our chairs were labeled with our names. Our waiter Corrie was attentive to get our drinks. Lunch was delicious. The boat crew to take us to the shipwreck and turtles were also fantastic. We saw baby turtles swimming and the shipwrecks were awesome to see. Highly recommend this excursion if you go to Barbados.

A good day out snorkeling on the reef just offshore via boat. sunbeds and food included. Good facilities (shower, toilets and bar service). Friendly beach staff. Highly recommend.
