the tour operator did not bother to show up. I flew in from Cairo and was left alone. I called them and they said I needed to send them passport info witch I did but they said they didn't get it. and then emailed me the day before after I emailed every tour I had booked and said that I will have NO access to email or my American phone once I left. I had no response from dr. mo. Then they said it takes 24hours to get a pass and could do nothing for me. This is a total lie as it only took me 20 minuets to get a free pass and I do not speak the language was told they would refund my money and now viator is refusing to do so. I had 7 or 8 tours all booked with viator 5 were great 1 was able to make a few changes on the fly and was great and 1 no show that lied about everything and no help from viator resolving the problem.

Hello Dear customer Thank you so much for your reply to show our clients how we do care of our clients. First of all did contact our client in advance to send us The Copy of his passport required for Transfer parmation to Abu simbel and with out this parmation we can not cross the check point to go to Abu Simbel. We did contact him many times trough viator message asking him the Copy of his passport. But No reply Then we did contact The customer service many times to reach him and inform him many times, they did inform him but No reply. We already did arrange and save the car and the driver waiting for his reply back with the copy or the info of his passport and it's very important to make the parmation and we have to make it a day in advance. Then when he did arrive to Aswan Airport he did contacted and called us from a local phone number and we did reply and we told him the car is ready cuz we already saved the car and paid for the car fee but you can not cross from the check point cuz we have to make the transfer parmation in advance and we have to get many stamps from the government to Alow us to cross We told him any way the car is ready cuz we already paid for it and you can do Aswan Tour today and pass the copy of the passports to do the transfer parmation for the next day Even no passport information on the booking And you can check the reviews about our services. Great experience with Dr. Mo tours after very bad ones in Cairo. Everything was on time and I had a very experienced guide for myself that explained the two temples with details. The place is stunning and completely worth the 3 hour back and forth.

A great way to see Abu Simbel

This was a great way to see Abu Simbel from Aswan. The driver and guide were both excellent. Pick up times were flexible, unlike other companies, so we could enjoy breakfast at our hotel first. Since we started later, we reached Abu Simbel midday and had the site completely to ourselves. It was hotter, but worth it. Highly recommended.

Excellent Experience

Excellent overall tour. From the driver (Magdi) to the guide (Adel) we were in good hands the entire time. We selected this tour company for their flexibility with times - it was great to sleep-in and not have to worry about waking up early to head from Aswan to Abu Simbel. Once there, we had the whole site to ourselves. Adel was perfect - he shared just the right amount of information...not too much, and not too little. He fit perfectly with our touring style, and was comfortable walking and talking, unlike some guides that stand in one place and talk...and talk...and talk. Communication from this tour company was great as well. We were so happy to see such a magnificent site with such a competent company. Definitely recommended.

Transporte privado que no es privado

Este tour no cumple con muchas de las cosas que indica la descripción. Es mucho más cara que otras alternativas y la única diferencia de este tour "privado" son 10 minutos de explicación fuera de un grupo, el resto es igual que contratarlo directamente en grupo, pero por el doble/triple de precio Respecto a la descripción de la actividad, estas son las cosas que indica la ficha y no son reales (o al menos no lo fueron en mi caso): - "Traslado privado de ida y vuelta desde Aswan" -> No fue privado, yo viajaba solo, pero compartimos minivan unas 10 personas. - "Auto de lujo" -> Al alojarme en la aldea Nubia (coste aparte de recogida de 20€) vinieron a buscarme en una moto que tiraba de un carrito (escena surrealista cuando has contratado un tour llamado "Excursión a Abu Simbel en auto de lujo"). De ahí en unos 20min llegamos al bus. Ninguna de las otras veces que contraté transportes desde mi alojamiento usaron ese tipo de transporte tan precario, pese a que siempre me cobraron menos que de este transporte. - "Botellas de agua incluidas" -> No dan agua, al pedirla me indicaron amablemente donde comprarla. - "Disponible en español" - El día anterior al tour me avisaron de que este idioma suponía un coste extra. Finalmente tuvieron el detalle de no cobrarme ese sobrecoste. El guía era realmente bueno (conocía mucho de la historia, era ameno, llevaba fotografías...), pero solo está presente en el propio Abu Simbel, no en las 7h de transporte. Como no está permitido explicar dentro de los templos, realmente esta parte de "guía privado" se limita a esos 10 minutos. Contraté el tour 2 semanas antes de realizarlo y durante ese tiempo fueron tratando de venderme otras muchas actividades de Egipto por Whatsapp. Solo el día de antes de la actividad, cuando ya no podía cancelar, avisaron de que era transporte en grupo, de que en Español debía pagar un extra... Abu Simbel impresionante, eso sí. Esta actividad que se vende como "privada" y "de lujo", no merece la pena frente a otras opciones mucho más económicas y no muy diferentes. A veces toca pagar la turistada: 144€ por persona en este caso.

Chauffeur à l'heure et très bon conducteur. La voiture était confortable. Le guide a été bien aussi. Nous avions demandé en français et nous l'avons eu. C'était très bien. Le site était casiment vide à midi alors nous étions très heureux de nos photos et de notre visite. Merci beaucoup
