The experience was very nice and well organised. Our guide helped us all the way and explained all our questions with great detail. The cruise was very nice, spacious and very clean. The crew were super friendly and helpful and the food choices were great. I would 100% recommend this experience for anyone who wants to see a little bit of everything.
Great tour which includes all sightseeing and a very nice Nile cruise. the organisation was vey smooth communicating through whatsup ; all guides and drivers were so friendly and helpful; boat was very comfortable and relaxing , even if we have to start the day early we had time to relax and enjoy the Nile
Our guide Ahmed was fantastic , he was very knowledgeable. The river travel was fantastic , loved the sights of the Nile.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Ahmed as our guide on the Aswan to Luxor cruise, and he was exceptional from start to finish. He is incredibly knowledgeable and explains everything in a way that is clear, engaging, and easy to understand. What really stood out was his ability to read and interpret hieroglyphics — it brought the temples and tombs to life in a way we would never have experienced on our own.
Ahmed is calm, friendly, and very approachable. No question was ever too much — he answered everything patiently and in detail, making sure we truly understood the history and context. His passion for ancient Egypt is obvious, and it makes the tours so much more meaningful.
He is also very organised and helpful, always ensuring we were comfortable, on time, and well looked after throughout the cruise.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Ahmed to anyone travelling between Aswan and Luxor.
If you have the choice, all for Ahmed as your tour guide, you will not regret it.
Visited most of important temples I wanted to go with Ahmed who is knowledgeable and kind tour guide and took a lot of pictures. Cruise was also nice. The room and bed are very comfortable, food is delicious.
Some activities start very early so be prepared. Also it can be windy in the sun deck particularly if you are going downriv
Despite having had delays on arrival due to flight and late confirmations in the optional tours, Ahmed was truly accommodating and made sure we had a great time! Really made our trip memorable and allowed us to focus on squeezing in all desired itinerary with ease! The cruise boat itself had a spacious sundeck with best food i had in Egypt throughout the three days with head manager Arafa!

Our cruise ship, the Shame Nile Cruise, was so old and in so bad shape that it was ridiculous All those pictures which company sent us were photoshopped, in reality trust me you don't want to be on that ship at all The other thing, in description it says “including tours “ NO, tours were not included we paid for the most of the entrances and extra trips, plus if you don't pay for the optional tours you would be siting on that old ship! Please do not pay for the ship’s Wi-Fi. I wasted $100 on that; it doesn't work at all! Our tour guy, Mouhamad, was very knowledgeable and spoke OK English; it was the only good part of our trip. Overall, I felt the tour wasn’t worth what they asked for, way overpriced, expensive tour in an impoverished country. If you booked this tour, it would be a good idea for you to ask for the name of the ship and do your own research.

The Shame Nile Cruise is officially classified as a 5-star cruise according to local tourism authority standards. A few days before the cruise date, during the Christmas peak season, we sent you the cruise name and photos, and we received your full confirmation and approval to proceed with this ship. We do not use photoshopped images, and all materials shared were provided in advance for your review and agreement.
Regarding the tours, our itinerary follows the same structure used by many tour operators in Egypt. Guided tours are included, while entrance fees and certain excursions are clearly listed as optional tours. This information is stated in the program to ensure transparency, allowing guests to choose according to their interests. Optional tours are not mandatory and are offered as additional experiences.
During your trip, our team attempted to contact you several times to ensure everything was going well. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response. Even our Guest relations Manager Came for you at the cruise to ensure that everything was going well and your response to him that everything is perfect and you are having great time , Had you informed us at the time that you were unhappy with the cruise, we would have taken immediate action and arranged an alternative solution whenever possible.
As for the Wi-Fi, river cruise internet service can be unreliable due to limited coverage along the Nile, which is outside the control of both the cruise operator and our company. We regret the inconvenience this caused.

My experience on the Nile Cruise was truly memorable. From start to finish, everything was organised beautifully the excursions to the temples were fascinating, the onboard entertainment was lively, and the staff made every moment enjoyable.

This tour is a good way to see several Egyptian highlights in a short amount of time. Our Egyptologist was Ahmed Mido who is a very nice man and knowledgeable about the history of the various sites and decoding hieroglyphics. I think you'll enjoy this tour IF you're clear on what to expect. Firstly, the boat shown in the photos for this listing are misleading. You'll need to upgrade to a "luxury tour" for that type of boat. Our boat was the far more modest, Jaz Crown Jubilee. Additionally, you need to read the itinerary very closely - Abu Simbel ($165), Hot Air Balloon ($99) and Nubian Village ($49) are all additional charges which will need to be paid in cash. You're also responsible for your own entrance into all sites which typically runs $10-15 each. Also, tipping is very different in Egyptian culture. Pretty much each person who you interact with will expect a tip so come prepared with LOTS of small bills. I will say that "Egypt Best Day Tours" was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and they checked in nearly every day to ensure everything was going well with us. Egypt is an amazing pace to visit. I hope you enjoy!
