Exploring the Nile

This was a fantastic way to see this amazing river. Slowly and in comfort. As tourism has largely been decreased because of Covid, it meant there were fewer people, yet the cruise staff were so diligent about health during the cruise as were the other passengers, which was very important to me. I spent NYE on the boat, and the staff put on an excellent dinner and entertainment, including dancing! The drink selection on offer were limited, however. There were many opportunities to stop and see the famous sights along the way, be ready to add those costs to your holiday. I would have liked to be offered tours as part of a group, I think it would have made it more cost efficient for a solo traveller. Malak from Malak tours was very helpful and communication was excellent, he made sure I was well informed ( I suggest that a detailed itinerary in English be designed for future, as the 'Viator whats included' was very general) His tour guides were also very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this trip, it was memorable and enjoyable and something you must do at least once whilst you're in Egypt.
