The temples were amazing (Edfu was so big in person!) and driving through all of the farming towns and along the Nile was truly great. My driver was lovely and supplied me with water, snacks and even took pictures of me with the sunset and Nile in the background

Everything was fine, private car, driver, time and visit. Edfu temple is really nice, in my opinion more than Kom Ombo one (we saw many in Egypt). Thank you

Great experience

KONSTANTINOS_P, Apr 2026
It was very good experience. The tour guide was great. The tour office is very good. Just have in mind that the road is not so good and there is posibillity seven hours to become 8 to 9.

See the real Egypt.

GREGORY_J, Apr 2026
If you want to see how people live in Egypt away from the cities take this trip. It is tiring but worth it. You share the road ( if you call it that) with double trucks, buses, mini vans, cars, tricycle buses, cars, motorbikes, people, horse and cart, donkeys and even hundreds of goats blocking the road. You see the people in their day to day lives and kids jumping off the bridges into the canals for fun and to cool off. Then of cause the temples , especially Edfu, along the way.

Mat_M, Feb 2026
I had a very poor experience with this service. My driver was 20 minutes late to start with, the driver stopped a dozen times or more to have a break. The most concerning part was that the driver was falling asleep and stopping in the middle of the road for the ENTIRE trip and in turn this entire drive took about 8.5 hours and only stopping at one temple on the way as I really just wanted the trip to be over. It was very uncomfortable as he was continuously accelerating and braking harshly while dozing off. A few bumps into other vehicles and overall was a horrible experience. Agency had to call the driver many times which seemed to be the only time he would actually drive fine but only lasted for 5-10 minutes then back to falling asleep again. Would not recommend to anyone

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Dear Mat_M, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the unacceptable experience you had and fully understand your concerns. Please be assured that once this issue was reported, we immediately followed up. Although the driver insisted on continuing to work despite being tired, we took firm action and stopped him from driving entirely. He has been suspended from duty for the past 15 days as a first and serious measure. Your safety is our top priority, and we deeply regret that we did not meet the standards you deserve. Kind regards, Khaled

Fast, convenient and comfortable

Ryoma_K, Jan 2026
We covered the journey in one day by car, which would normally take two days on a Nile cruise. We also got to visit the beautiful temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu, which the train would pass by. Mr. Armed was quiet but well-experienced driver. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

For adventure seekers!

Jillian_W, Jan 2026
I would take this mode of transportation 10/10 times over a cruise or tour bus. Cruising doesn't allow you to go into the rural villages and through the intimate nature of Southern Egypt! It robs you of all of the fun parts of road trips, which is getting a peek into the lives of people who live in this cool country. You also get to go at your own pace, which is a huge advantage over mass tourist travel. The tour buses handle the rough roads muchhh worse than a car. They sit super high so you're bouncing all over and they can't maneuver through the crazy Egyptian roads and traffic. I am so grateful I never took a bus long distance in this country! We had a laugh at Edfu Temple when the bus passengers were having meltdowns about how rough the ride was. I don't know what kind of research they did before traveling, but clearly it wasn't enough. Do not skip the two optional stops to Kom Ombo and Edfu temples. They come up a lot in historcal reference to other big places in Luxor and Abu Simbel, so you'll regret missing a chance to see them. Additionally, these are way less frequented and we had Kom Ombo almost entirely to ourselves. Overall, it's a must do!

tip problem but not bad

MIKI, Dec 2025
he came by the scheduled time and the car was very good , but the driver asked us to pay tip if he needs to wait at each temple for more than 30 minutes though this transfer price is originally expensive, but the entrance was far so it's impossible to see it within 30 minutes...he didn't force us to do that much, but it was uncomfortable experience.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate your comments. We’re pleased to hear that the driver arrived on time and that you found the vehicle to be very good. However, we’re sorry to learn that the discussion about waiting time and tips made you feel uncomfortable. Kindly note that, as mentioned in the tour details, the scheduled visiting time is 1 hour at Kom Ombo Temple and 1 hour 30 minutes at Edfu Temple, which should be sufficient to enjoy the sites without any pressure. Tips are always optional and should never be requested in a way that causes discomfort. We would also like to kindly ask why you did not contact us at the time via WhatsApp or phone on the number shared with you. We are always available during the service and would have addressed the situation immediately to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, which helps us improve our services, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Very good option to travel from Aswan to Luxor

A safe transfer!

Cristin_C, Dec 2025
The transfer was done with a very good driver, very attentive and who drove very safely. The car was modern and with all the amenities. On the way we stopped at 2 temples - Kom Ombo and Edfu. I recommend the transfer with this company

Great transfer from Aswan to Luxor with stops at temples

William_C, Nov 2025
Prompt pick-up and great driving through some challenging roads. I picked the option to stop at Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples on the way to Luxor from Aswan. My driver gave me plenty of time to explore both (bought entry tickets on my own). Highly recommend this transfer if you’re trying to get to Luxor from Aswan, don’t want to do a multi-day cruise, and still want to see Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples (also much easier than flying, which as of writing this, would have required a connection in Cairo).

Salah was a great driver for the transfer from Aswan to Luxor and we stopped off at kom ombo and Edfu along the way. I would highly recommend Salah for this transfer

Best cost-benefit

Ligia_R, Nov 2025
My husband and I got a transfer from Aswan to Luxor with 2 stops at Kom Ombo and Horus Temples. The driver didn't speak English so well, but could communicate without any problem. As soon as we left the hotel, he bought water and snacks for us. The trip was very smooth. We stayed at both temples for as long as we felt comfortable.

Soparny_H, Oct 2025
Our driver was friendly and nice. There must’ve been miscommunication with management as our driver came at 7am when we booked for 8am. Our driver must’ve been new to this route as he was asking locals for the directions to the temple, we assisted with using google maps but he took the other route which lead to an additional hour - not an issue. We left at 8am and arrived to our hotel at 4pm. We visited the two temples and approximately stayed 35mins and 40mins at each temple.

Great service

Sarah_I, Sep 2025
Excellent service; super safe drive. Mustafa, the driver, was extremely friendly and careful. Totally recommended.

Worth it

kristian_r, Jul 2025
Smooth and skilled driver. Air conditioning was perfect! Felt safe, would do it again. Made our travel experience very convenient for two solo female travelers

Seamless, inexpensive,...

Jeremy_L, May 2025
Seamless, inexpensive, fast, toured two temples on the way and even got to choose our own lunch spot. The car was a huge 10 seat van for just us two (super comfortable).

Recommended transfer from Aswan to Luxor!

Macquincy_S, May 2025
The hiace transfer from Aswan to Luxor with Temple Khnum stop is definitely recommended! Its usually 2 stops but you can change it as long as its along the way. We only did 1 stop - Temple Khnum in Esna. The tour guide was knowledgable and helpful. Snacks and water were also provided. We got to Luxor safely.

Five star service !

Carolyn_M, May 2025
Our driver “Oscar” was friendly, professional and reliable. He picked us up from our hotel and drove us from Aswan to Luxor with two stops along the way. His car was clean and modern (compared to many cars in Egypt!!) You have to pay extra to visit the temples but it’s not a lot and Oscar was accommodating (we could take as little or long as we wanted). Overall, five star service and while the drive is long (about 7 hours with the two stops) I preferred it over taking another flight.

Unprofessional and unreliable

Marine_Q, Apr 2025
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s important to share our experience. We were really disappointed with our experience with this company. To be fair, I am not referring here to the quality of the guides or the visits themselves, which were generally good (and there are the only reason I’m giving two stars rather than one). But the organization and customer service were simply unacceptable. The lack of communication and professionalism is evident at EVERY STEP. Several different people reply from the same WhatsApp number (Marwan and Rahma for the names I’ve gotten), making it impossible to have proper follow-up or consistent answers. The replies are vague, sometimes contradictory, and give the impression that no one is actually managing your file. We were asked multiple times to send copies of our passports for the required permits — despite already having provided them… These are sensitive documents, and being asked repeatedly makes us question how securely they are being handled. Are they losing the documents? Or is there simply no internal coordination? The final straw was the balloon flight we had specifically booked for sunrise in Luxor (and paid for!!) — the reason we chose this experience in the first place. Without real explanation, we were moved really last minute to the second flight, which is not the same in terms of atmosphere, quality or value. When we raised this issue, we received a short and dismissive reply, with no attempt to resolve the situation. How would you qualify this other than unprofessional and unreliable ??? Throughout, we had no access to any real customer service, despite many attempts to speak to someone who could help. I tried to text and call 4 different phone numbers!! In the end, we feel it would have been worth paying a bit more to work with true professionals — companies that value their clients and understand the importance of communication and trust.

Best transfer! Safe, professional and prompt and stops twice for temples

Christine_B, Mar 2025
Great private transfer from Aswan to Luxor. We have wonderful snacks and unlimited water or soda. I think it depends on who your tour guide is, so ask for Oscar!! Prompt pick up, safe, very comfortable and super clean car. You see a lot of interesting areas. You will go through security check pints where you will see police with guns. Don’t be scared. This is for tourist safety and they track tourist in vehicles. They require the drivers to provide name, phone number, number of tourist ect. They are what’s called “tourism police” Egypt survives on tourist so there is no concern for your safety. It’s a very safe place no matter where you go. Just keep in mind that they are pushy sales people around the tourist attractions bc this is how they earn a living. Kids do it too. It’s hard to say no but be stern and they will leave you alone. If you take any tours. Please confirm prices for the entire experience, number of stops, round trip, number of people ect this way, no questions about how much you pay before your go. Oscar didn’t hassle or try to bring us to shops for his buddies business. He was so friendly and helpful. All of our private drivers were. I found the tours are required to stop so book this now and custom your day with Oscar!

Much better than Boats

mike_d, Mar 2025
Drive from Aswan to Luxor was ideal, so much better than multi day boat cruise. We were picked up on time and driven to Luxor making the optional stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu. Takes around 6 hours because of temple stops, which we took our time and weren’t rushed . My family appreciated the charging ports in the luxurious van which was driven safely. It’s a Must

Great driver. Gave us...

Ranjeewa_W, Mar 2025
Great driver. Gave us enough time to visit the two temples. Would recommend this company based on our experience

Vehicle was newer and...

Celeste_R, Mar 2025
Vehicle was newer and clean. The driver didn't rush the stops and I enjoyed Kom Ombo and Edfu. He frequently checked to see if I needed to stop for food/water/restroom. The vehicle was on the smaller side so only 1 of my large suitcases was able to fit in the trunk and one in the front seat.

Great transfer

Jose_M, Feb 2025
It’s exactly what it’s supposed to do, a transfer. We did the optional stops with Egyptologist’s and they were both knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Overall, my experience...

Jaehoon_S, Jan 2025
Overall, my experience was satisfactory. The driver was waiting before the pickup time, the car was new and comfortable. Mr. Hani, our driver, is a very kind, professional, and responsible person.

Perfect transfer

Johan_B, Jan 2025
The mini bus was very comfortable. We had a friendly and patient driver who listened to and acted upon our needs. All we could have wished for.

Reliable Tour Operator

Diana_H, Jan 2025
Tour company ensured we had driver available even though flight was delayed 4 hours. They kept in touch and took stress out of making sure we had transportation to our hotel! I would recommend this company for airport transports and based on communication and ensuring we were taken care of I would book other tours with them!

Wouldn’t do this again 👎🏼

Drew_T, Jan 2025
We got on the road early, and our driver sped off quickly. We had 45 mins at Kom Ombo, which was good. We felt like we had it to ourselves. Our driver, Aladdin, seemed like he was maybe just having a bad day. There was only 1 stop in Edfu at the big temple, and not enough time here (50 mins), but we thought we’d stop at the other Edfu site too. I guess not. This company let us add a visit to Esna Temple for an additional $25USD, but there was a slight discrepancy on conversion, which our driver did accept after some confusion. My wife needed a bathroom, so our driver stopped at a cafe next to a soccer field, and the bathroom was a men’s locker room with a squatty potty and no locking door. Meanwhile he wanted us to stop for coffee to be could smoke shisha. We were ready to find a new bathroom and he seemed annoyed we cut his break short? 🤨 He did hit a motorcyclist on the way and never checked if we were okay, shattered the drivers side mirror when trying to pass other drivers. When we arrived in Luxor, our bags were dropped in the dirty road, and he argued with us about the tip and told us to give him several hundred Egyptian pounds more. We wanted to take our tip back, if he wasn’t going to show any gratitude. This was a scary moment and I didn’t feel safe as he was shouting at us, demanding more money. We hurried into the hotel to avoid a scene and to feel safe. Frankly a lot of Egypt felt like this, and we don’t recommend this tour. Find another company who is glad to have you, and wants you to have a good experience seeing Egypt.

Excellent Service.

JesusMasiero, Nov 2024
My wife and I, book this service with stop on Kom-Ombo and Edfu, we would highly recommend it if you don't have much time or want to save money by not going on a Nile Cruise. The driver Tamer was very friendly and drove us safety to our Hotel in Luxor.

Aswan to Luxor with two temples.

Christopher_H, Sep 2024
The driver provided the services to the letter but was 15 minutes late for the pick up and then he went to a local market to buy the water for the 7 hour journey. The water was one small bottle each for the wife and I. The service said water would be provided and technically it was but not enough for a 7 hour trip with two temple stops in 40C heat. We also stopped at a random rest stop so he could have a cigarette. I do it again but bring your own water and snacks (these were included in the ticket but didn’t materialise). On a plus side the vehicle was clean and comfortable.
