Picked a beautiful cup from the end of the Meiji era to repair and use for the rest of my life. Loved this whole experience!! I got to learn how to repair the cup using an important and meditative Japanese practice. I can't wait to keep following this tradition at home. 💖

I was able to restore a 100 year old tea cup belonging to my mum and now enjoying admiring a new version of this heirloom!

Enjoyed the session tremendously! We did hands on for 'filling in' technique and observed the 'piecing together' technique done by Mr Yoshiichiro! Ms Yoshiko spoke well enough in English to communicate more conceptual topics with some clarification, and I really appreciated the portion about what sort of artistic ideas we can put into kintsugi! Highly recommended!
