We had a great time snorkeling. Super nice and funny guides with a great location. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique snorkeling experience.

It says that the excursion is 2.4 hours, but about half of that was the drive to the snorkeling spot and getting fitted for the equipment. Other Viator experiences have had the experience last for the posted time.
The guides were friendly and helpful and there were plenty of fish to see.

Snorkeling with Nautilus Deve Center was great fun. I went by myself, and since I was the only one signed up, I got a private experience. Javier spent a fair amount of time getting me into equipment that fit my tiny frame, but didn't spend ages going over everything, which I appreciated: I wanted to get going and get in the water! Javier was terrific, keeping close to me. He was very attuned to my safety and comfort level. Saw lots of beautiful fish; I wish they'd had a poster or handout or something listing the fish we might see. I had read the Mangel Halta beach could be challenging for some swimmers, but I did just fine (Javier accused me of lying when I said I was only a pretty OK swimmer, when he thought I did quite well.) Overall, a fantastic experience I'd be happy to repeat.

Alex was a fantastic guide who answered all my questions about Aruba and the waters we explored. Not only that, he took photos and videos with my phone - a true bonus. We saw lots of fish, coral, and more, including a shipwreck in about 30’ of water. The first part of the snorkel trip is a bit of a workout against the current but nothing too hard and after that, it’s an easy drift back to the wreck. Coupled with pickup at and a return to my hotel (20 minutes away), this made for an incredible morning activity. Thanks for a truly memorable experience, Alex!

It took about an hour and a half to actually get in the water. First we were taken to the "dive shop" to get gear but our guide had to go back to the car to drive somewhere to get waivers for us to sign. Should have been in the car or at least at the dive shop. On the way back we had to wait at a gas station for the owner to come pay for gas so we could get back to ship--shouldn't have sent car out without a full tank. Our guide Carlos was great but unfortunately the water was too rough for us to have a good experience. Too much swimming to get out to reef and we gave out before. Didn't see that much fish. This is supposed to be a good snorkeling beach but I've seen better.

Great spot. Good equipment and safety. So much easier to go with a great guide like than on your own. And they picked me up so I didn't need to worry about getting there. Lots of fishes to see and the guide could tell us something about them. I saw a sting ray too.

This was the perfect experience for me and my family who are beginner snorkelers. Our instructor was extremely patient and made sure we had an excellent time.

Carlos was AWESOME. He was very knowledgeable and caring of his group. He explained everything in detail and was very thorough. My only suggestion is Carlos should stay more with the group. He is a great swimmer but he was little far ahead for me when I needed him. Other than that, he was GREAT.

Nice coral and fish. Snorkel from
shore. Need to be able to swim/kick out to reef. Great guide! Would recommend!

Great time. Beautiful location. Good people. Worth the money. Won't be disappointed. Instructor was knowledgeable about location

Great experience going snorkeling. Our guide was super nice and the other guests canceled last minute so it ended up being a private tour wow! We saw so many amazing fish and barracuda and a sea turtle! So much fun! It is a down-to-earth experience, but worth it.

Carlos a great instructor. Due to weather we were not able to make it to reef , but we saw fish and felt very safe with him.

Fun time with great snorkeling
The area was amazing
Carlos our guide was terrific and made sure we had fun but was also safety conscious

More time in transport, waiting, paperwork than snorkeling. But the snorkeling spot is one of the best on the Island. Once you know the spot, you could do it yourself.

We enjoyed snorkeling in Aruba. Our guide was fantastic. The weather was not perfect but with our guide, the day was enjoyable

thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beautiful reefs and various species of fish. waters were definitely rough. not for your beginner or average swimmer! definitely felt there was a lack of direction and instruction on the guides part.

Our guide was fine. However, I called Viator and they confirmed we would be on a boat. Upon pick up in a van that's door handles did not work they knew nothing of the boat. Very disappointed in the communication from Viator and would not recommend or trust them to book again.

The best snorkeling trip I've ever been on! The coral was amazing, and so many colorful fish! The tour guide was excellent and very informative. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I and our son (11 yo) had a great time snorkeling with Junior! He picked us up at our hotel, took us the dive center, then to the beach and back to our hotel. I enjoyed learning more about the culture of Aruba on our way from our hotel. We snorkeled for about 45 minutes to an hour. We saw some amazing coral and fish. Junior was a great instructor with a great personality. The water seemed pretty rough compared to other snorkeling excursions we have done, but Junior said the waters were very calm that day. I would not recommend this for those that are not strong swimmers or those who are easily motion sick.

Everything was great! We were picked up at our hotel by the tour guide and guided along the reefs looking at a lot of fish

This experience was not for a novice.
The current was strong and the waves were relentless .
My family previously owned a dive shop and I have snorkeled in Bermuda, the Cayman, St Thomas and Bahamas.
The conditions were not suitable for novice snorkeling.

Awesome afternoon with Junior. Picked me up right on time. Everything was very chill, had a really great tour of the reef and shipwreck. Definitely will do another snorkeling trip with them.

This was the worst. A hot mess. Picked us up in a beat up, dirty, filthy little van with no a.c. (It is sweltering humid) After a 30 minute drive, they took us to a ramshackle building in a shabby area of town where we had to wait another half hour for other “guests” not affiliated with our excursion. Then another 10 minute drive to the beach. Then my wife and the others ventured out to snorkel. Because the conditions were so rough, my wife had to turn back and tried to find me. The guide just left her behind. Then a drive back to the shack where we were left in this dirty van for at least 15 minutes with no a.c. Then another 40 minute drive back to town. This was deplorable and not even close to Viator's standards. We have videos to support our terrible experience. I am asking for a total refund on this excursion.

Junior was a great guide. He informed us which routes we were taking and checked on all members of group periodically. The experience was amazing. As a non-swimmer, I felt completely comfortable in the water and had a great time.

Extremely good tour, much nicer and cheaper than booking inside the ship, totally recommend. We had the tour for ourselves and the guide, personalized experience, really nice people. Would repeat if traveling again to Aruba.

Friendly guy, everything as promised and more. Great few hours.
Pick up as arranged I would definitely recommend experience

Juan and his crew were very nice. Trip was good . My partner and I were the only ones in the excursion. Made it nice not sure the name of the guide that led us out to the reef but he was very caring and made sure we were ok. We saw a lot of fish in the deep part and unfortunately the ship wreck was difficult to see due to murky. But that is Nature no one’s fault.
We got water and a cookie when we left and a shower to rinse off the salt water ..
Took a minute to find the place so take extra time and realize dive center is at someone’s residence .

No problem with hotel pick up and ride to dive shop in a neighborhood. We were the only two on the trip. Good quality mask, snorkel, fins, and life jackets. Two bock ride from dive shop to sandy walk-in spot with beautiful mangroves. Our guide who was from Aruba was friendly and knowledgeable. He secured our valuables in the van. My wife is not a strong swimmer so he let her hold on to life preserver which he towed out against a week current past the reef. The fish were sparse but colorful. The waves were a little choppy but it’s always windy on Aruba. Our guide supplied cold water and cookies which was a nice touch. Overall it was worth the money.

I have traveled and done a lot of things in my life but that was hands down one of the coolest things I have done. Junior was our instructor and he was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, to a warm personality he is a skilled underwater expert, happy to help and has great jokes. Worth every dollar! Don’t wait - book now!
Katie_W, Jan 2024
Junior our tour guide was amazing! Very professional and knowledgeable. I would say this is more at an experienced snorkeler excursion as the ocean was quite rough and we didn’t realize we were going out so far. As soon as my husband couldn’t stand any longer he decided to go back to shore. I swam him back so the other couple and the guide could continue. Again, the tour guide and his company were amazing… this one just wasn’t for us.
