Rolf was a fantastic tour guide. He knew all the stops & sights. He went out of his way to stop at a fresh strawberry stand and buy a couple pints for all the guests. He was knowledgeable, kind and funny. I highly recommend touring with him.

Rolf is a passionate ambassador of his native Norway! We made at least 11 stops on this tour, and Rolf knew all the history of everywhere we visited. He could get us into places that others couldn't go, and he let the group of us set the pace for how long we wanted to be at each stop. Rolf’s luxury custom coach was amazing, comfortable, clean and his driving was top notch. Lunch was delicious and well timed, the day flew by and we saw so much more than we could have ever imagined. Thank you Rolf for sharing your knowledge and you passion, we had the best day ever!

Very personalized tour. This is an Owner driver operator. He truly cares about his van and country. It is a very well maintained mini bus the best bus tour I’ve taken during my two week vacation nice bag lunch as well. Most importantly he is a local and is very passionate about his country Which you get to hear a lot of the history from him overall one of my favorite tours.

This was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Every detail was thought of for us from the hand sanitizer as we boarded the bus for lunch to the readily available umbrellas. All we had to do was just enjoy! Royal Tur Reiser took us to all of the places I wanted to see and some I didn’t know about. It was a perfect day.

Fantastic Tour! I selected this tour because it was the only one I found that included both the countryside AND the city of Ålesund. Rolf contacted us before the tour to provide meeting instructions which were spot on and he was easy to locate very close to our cruise ship. His vehicle WAS in fact a luxurious minibus as advertised, with fewer seats and more room for each guest. We saw several other "small group" tours with limits of 19 guests, but when 3 of these "small" tour buses travel together, it really is a tour of close to 60 people (not so small). Rolf travels alone so it really is a small group. By himself, he also has the luxury of being able to adapt and alter the tour as necessary and he also makes several additional stops at which there are no other tours. All of this together made for a more personalized and comprehensive tour. After our return to Ålesund, he gave us a driving tour of the city and took us to a scenic overlook where we were able to take in the beauty of this city and its art deco style buildings. Excellent tour! Excellent guide! Excellent day!

The driver/guide is the owner who delivers a great tour. An excellent value over the large bus tours. You get more stops and nice extras like stopping at a local strawberry farm for great berries without paying extra.

Absolutely first class. This is a small business operator who went out on a limb 8 weeks before COVID broke out and purchased a 100k++ luxury Royal Coach Mercedes 16 passenger coach with tables and reclining chairs. He only made 4 trips before storing his coach for 2 years. He provides a level of service that exceeds his description of the tour. YOU WANT BE DISAPPOINTED ,book this tour and I assure you will have one of the best days of your vacation!

I will do the very best for my few guests. I only have small groups of a maximum of 16 passengers and a luxury bus. The best. I don't want large groups with many buses. Or large buses I want fewer guests and they should get the best bus and the best experience with me.
When there are fewer guests, we become a better group and it is better to give the best quality to everyone. For more guests. If the challengers are, it will be.
I want my guests to have plenty of room in the bus for their legs and to be able to enjoy the trip in the best way, therefore my bus as you saw is specially built with the largest windows so that the guests can see everything. And good chairs here, no one should sit cramped, good fresh air all the time. Pleasant Panflute music between the guiding and after 3 hours you will be served a varied, tasty lunch on the bus, self-service glacial water and cola is free to take at your own discretion is also included and we have several exclusive stops only I have, and no one else and the guests really love these secret places. you are only here once in your life, so you should have the very best experience

Rolf was an excellent, he created a thoughtful and well planned tour and was able to share his knowledge of the area having grown up locally. The small size of the group let us interact with Rolf and allowed us to be far more efficient at stops along the way. We were treated to unexpected whale sightings in the fjord, and intimate waterfalls the big bus tours miss.

Panoramic Drive is a theater piece with photography everywhere you look.
The bus only has 16 seats, so here you have plenty of room for your legs. I want everyone to sit comfortably and the bus has the largest panoramic windows possible so that you can feel nature all the way into your body.

This tour was fantastic combining the sights and history of Alesund with traveling further into the mountains with breathtaking scenery, majestic waterfalls, rivers, lakes and vistas. Our guide Rolf provided current info along with history and interesting tidbits such as Tom Cruise filming in the area years ago. Rolf thought of everything, from providing a picture of our exact meeting point when disembarking the cruise ship to offering umbrellas for inclement weather and bright yellow vests for roadside stops. We had cold beverages and a hearty lunch with snacks. I also appreciated his detailed itinerary, which included bathroom breaks and clear expectations for the day.

This was a great way to experience the area. We are glad we caught it at the end of the season while the crowds were down. Let me start off by saying Rolf is so well put together. He is so knowledgeable and takes you to the best picturesque spots! The tour bus is beautiful and comfortable, perfect to view the amazing scenery. He came prepared! With videos and information guides on every stop we made.
The weather was beautiful and we even saw Aksla viewpoint at sunset. He made our vacation so memorable. Thanks to him Ålesund has a little piece of my heart.
We did have a hiccup at the beginning of the tour but he really came through and was very good with communication. If you want to see the best spots in Alesund - take this tour!
