Wow! I cannot say enough about how much we loved this tour. We had a great day, made even better by our pilots professionalism and commitment to safety that made seeing the Grand Canyon by helicopter the safest part of our day. That was followed by experiencing the best of the west with songs, BBQ and stories on an historic ranch then going on peaceful horseback trail ride surrounded by beautiful. Next time we will stay overnight so that we can see even more.
Great experience, from start to finish. Joe is full of information on the transportation in. Flight is an hour each way and is amazing. The ranch is cool, we did the shooting and that was exceptionally well done. All in all, well worth the money. 5 star from 5 star.
Such a cool experience for our family ! The pilot went above and beyond and everyone on the ranch were so accommodating. Would highly recommend. Being a local and seeing everything from above was even better.
This was SO MUCH FUN! It is a great way to see the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, Las Vegas and the area. Our pilot was Eddie Todaro - fun & knowledgeable about the area! Our trip included a stop at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch which was a cherry on top. Highly recommended 👍🤠

I had an amazing experience doing this trip of a lifetime, I went on my own as my companions didn’t want to go. I booked the horse riding at the ranch at the time of booking and I’m so glad I did.
5 star helicopters kept in touch by wattsapp and telephone to ensure I knew the instructions for pickup etc.
I could not fault them, Eddie was out pilot, he was fabulous and very knowledgeable. When at the ranch the staff were great. The horses were really well looked after, I rode Brandy who was great! Food was also good, I wish I’d purchased a cowboy hat so I looked the part when I had my photos taken with the real cowboys.
I would recommend this trip!
Trip not guaranteed to happen and they have no contingency plan if you’re not flexible on the days … it was disappointing to say the least (as it was my birthday celebration desire) … i wish they had an alternative to cancelling…

Viator clearly states in their important information that a minimum number of passengers are required to operate a Grand Canyon helicopter tour. Our Reservations Team work diligently to find and extend alternative departure dates and times. Private flights are available, which guarantee all six seats in the helicopter. We sincerely apologize that you we were unable to experience your helicopter experience.
Mad Dog made our trip such fun and very memorable, such a fabulous character with an amazing knowledge to keep us entertained. Would highly recommend the trip!

The helicopter flight and views of the Grand Canyon, Hoover dam, Lake Meade, Las Vegas, ect were amazing! The pilot was great also. The ranch, lunch, horseback riding and staff were very pleasant also, including Arizona Casey the singer.
The experience was phenomenal. The pilot was excellent. Its a must do. The pictures we took will be remembered forever.

My first helicopter ride and I highly recommend. Great way to see Grand Canyon when you don’t have a lot of time to travel. A little pricey but worth. I enjoyed Arizona Casey at the Ranch. Personalized marinade at lunch was a nice touch. Ranch is not fancy but real to life and Outlaw history is fun.
The western ranch with horseback riding and lunch was an incredible experience. The helicopter ride was horrible for my husband and I due to the company NOT considering shoulder width of its passengers. For the entire flight tour we had to sit twisted sideways with only enough room to have one of our shoulder on the seat! It was a miserable experience!!! It is not what we expected and would NOT recommend the flight to anyone unless they purchased TWO seats! . However the ranch is well worth driving out to during the day. They even have cabin rentals for overnight stays!

Thank you for your feedback. Our Airbus helicopters are configured with stadium style forward facing seats for 180 degree panoramic views of the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. We reviewed your flight manifest and noted that there were no passengers exceeding our comfort weight seat policy for 250 Lbs. Typically, heavier and taller passengers are assigned the rear right hand seats directly behind the Pilot, as these seats provide additional leg room. We sincerely apologize if you felt uncomfortable during your 90 minute helicopter flight.
The most fantastic experience ever, for anyone not sure about travelling by helicopter DO IT! Lucys our pilot was amazing, so glad I chose 5 star helicopters, we also did the horseback ride which was well worth it!
Adam did an amazing job with in-flight info. The Ranch was amazing and rustic. We had the best instructor at the shooting range and would definitely recommend it.
Helicopter ride to and from the Grand Canyon with an amazing pilot (Lucas) who kept the bird calm on an exceptionally windy day, narrated the tour with jokes, and kept all of us engaged. Horseback riding through a gorgeous desert trail on healthy, easy to ride horses. Guides, drivers, and staff throughout were exceptional.

The helicopter ride was amazing but the ranch was dissappointing. Inless you want to horse bach ride or shoot, at an additional fee there is nothing to do. The lunch was cold. Should have samed the money and just did helicopter ride.
From the start of the day, being picked up and transferred to the office, check in, and then boarding with Andrew, or pilot for the day, this was an outstanding experience. We took in the Hoover dam and West Rim of the Canyon, before heading to the ranch. The couple of hours were great fun. We paid to do the fun range and loved every minute.
Fantastic service from everyone at the ranch and with 5 star helicopters.

There’s a reason this gets the rave reviews it does! Our pilot Christina was great, very knowledgeable and informative. The ranch was amazing having lunch, we hadn’t booked the horse riding or shooting. But when we got there booked onto the shooting, again, absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend.
Bucket list stuff! It’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny.

Absolutely fantastic, from start to finish, a must do!!!! Everyone was so friendly, Cowboy Dave was great, sang and played guiter while we had a lovely lunch. Decided to try the shooting whilst there and Nate was fantastic, very patient and we felt very safe. Helicopter pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. A really authentic experience and fantastic day!! 5*

Helicopter trips, look no further than 5 star. As far as I am aware none of the other Helicopter tour companies offer hotel pickup any longer so your in good hands right from the start rather than having to find your own way to the heliport. Once there everyone is very professional in getting you booked in and prepared to start your experience.
We booked the grand canyon, with cowboy ranch and horse riding tour and can honestly say our pilot Micheal (Mad Dog) Davies don't let the name deter anyone, went far and above our expectations in terms of keeping us informed of everything we could see on our journey to the cowboy ranch passing over Hoover dam and the grand canyon.
Arriving at the ranch we were treated to a BBQ lunch before heading off on a 1hr horesback ride. Me and my Wife cannot recommend this companies professionalism enough 10/10.
We had a wonderful experience with our pilot, Mad Dog, and our drivers, George and Joel. We opted for the horseback ride and lunch at the ranch. And we are very happy that we did. Best BBQ ribs that we’ve had.
Amazing experience! I live in the UK, so I was able to contact the Tour company directly via Whatsapp and arrange a pick up time in and place in Las Vegas. I opted for the Ranch Landing which included lunch and was also sent the menu. On the day, they collected me in their seated taxi van directly from the hotel. i was on my own, but everyone was friendly and I made a friend who was also travelling solo. On arrival at the airport, they weighed us and went through the safety procedure. There were 6 people to the helicopter and everyone was distributed by weight. There are individual seat belts and headphones with mics. The best view is obviously at the front, but i was positioned next to the window which was great. We flew from Las Vegas over the Hoover Damn then onto the West Rim of the Grand Canyon where the helicopter dipped and took us through the canyon. The pilot was friendly and knowledgeable explaining the history and geography of the region with added anecdotes! There was a choice of a Gun Range experience or a Horse Trail experience at an additional cost so I opted to stay at the ranch which I was free to explore. The host was a singing cowboy who had taken the time to compose songs which referenced each of us! The food was freshly cooked and delicious! Coffee, hot chocolate and water were free, but alcohol incurred an additional fee. We were then taken back by the same pilot in the same order in the helicopter via a slightly different route. It was just before sunset so we circled Vegas as the many lights of the attractions beneath lit up the city. We were then dropped off at our individual hotels. The trip was approx 5 hours door to door.
It was worth every penny and I'd definitely love to do it again!
