WE DO NOT PICK UP AT WARD COVE. (THEY PROVED FREE SHUTTLES) We meet at Berth 2 in downtown Ketchikan in front of 131 front st ( the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau) . When you arrive at the meeting destination. You will see a representative holding a sign that says Seaside Tours.

What a great trip - regardless of the downpour! Pulling into Ketchikan we didn't have any excursions planned for the day. We saw the weather was not in our favor and on a whim, decided to book a tour to try to see as much of Ketchikan as we could while fighting the rain. A tour with a vehicle to accommodate our wish list seemed perfect!
Rhianna made sure we got to see all of our wishes. She was full of information on all things Alaska and Ketchikan. She asked what we wanted to see most and did her very, very best to get us to see these things. And she delivered! She was funny, personable, outgoing, informative, kind, and genuine. She made the tour for us in real time based on our questions and curiosity. She stayed at sights as long as we wanted to. Never rushed us. We enjoyed all the sights she was able to take us to. While we went into the tour knowing that wildlife doesn't come when called, she found us a lot of bears, which was our favorite part of the tour.
We would highly recommended this tour and Rhianna if you are looking for fun facts, great jokes, and seeing Ketchikan in it's most beautiful, authentic state.
Rihanna was such a fun tour guide! We appreciated the sharing of all her insights, knowledge, and experiences. We were able to see wildlife including eagles, seals, the salmon run, and even a bear (from far away).
It was a beautiful experience I would highly recommend it to anyone that’s interested in it. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend it to everyone. It simply was the best decision that I made by far.
Rianna was an amazing tour guide through town. Being born and raised in Ketchikan she knew the stories of every corner of town and exactly where to find any and all wildlife. She was so fun to be with. We both walked away and said we could have spent the entire day with her rather than the short 2 hours we had wth her and her wealth of knowledge about the area and its life!!
This tour is run by locals. Our group had 60 people so the tour guide brought in people who were inexperienced about the area. She didn’t have a lot of local info even though she lived there. The tour description stated we would receive soda and water but that was not offered any. Overall, not a great tour experience.
This tour was amazing and the tour guide was very friendly and her knowledge of Ketchikan was fantastic. I would highly recommend you do this tour.
Tour guide was one of the best. We've ever had on our trips. We got to see a bear, all the stops we made were beautiful. And she shared so much information, it was great. Definitely. Would recommend this tour and the tour guide.
Shane was so much fun! He is definitely an Alaskan expert and knows the animals! Showed us so many wildlife and places we would have never found on our own. Our experience was amazing in Ketchikan. We appreciate him and this company. Don’t miss out on your next Ketchikan adventure!
We have just returned from an amazing trip in Ketchikan. Our tour guide was a local lady, Rhiannon, who had lots of info, knowledge and tips. We saw bald eagles, Sitka black tailed deer, salmon, Stella jays and 4 black bears. What an amazing afternoon, one of the best trips we have ever been on, would highly recommend.
Shares stories about the area and islands around. Goes out of there way to try and find the bears. Very knowledgeable
Shane was absolutely amazing. I have been to this wonderful town many times and this was by far the best tour I’ve been on. Shane came through and gave us everything we wanted to see!! Eagles, bears, Salmon jumping, and even a star fish. He was so knowledgeable and very helpful to our older people on the tour. Hands-down, I would recommend this tour. Thank you, Shane for showing us such an amazing time.
Our guide, Rhiana, being a local gave us a wonderful insightful, and personal tour.... saw seals and eagles but sadly no bears 🐻 even though Rhiana tried really hard to locate them .

We had an excellent time with Rianna on our excursion of the Cute Town of Ketchikan! When she picked us up, there were just 5 of us, she asked if we could do the tour backwards because there were bears at Herring Cove our last stop. Of course we agreed and off we went..sure enough we saw a Mama Bear and her two cubs! Totally cool! Then we spent some time at the Saxman Totem Pole Park. She is knowledgeable and very proud of her heritage and hometown. From there we went to the Salmon Ladder and watched salmon try to climb the ladder. Excellent Day!! Thank you😊
We had such a great time on this tour! Our tour guide Rihanna was wonderful. She provided a lot of information throughout the tour and kept it fun the entire time. It was easy to find the pick up location and everyone we met working for the vendor was very friendly. If you want to see some beautiful nature spots and potentially some bears, I would highly recommended this tour!
We had an absolutely wonderful tour in Ketchikan! Our guide, Rihanna, is a local Alaska Native who was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and passionate about her home. She shared fascinating stories, history and personal insights that gave us a deeper understanding of the land, culture and community—details we never would have learned from a typical tourist guide.
The tour felt personal, authentic and truly special. We learned so much while exploring some of Ketchikan’s most beautiful places, and Rihanna’s deep connection to the area made the experience unforgettable. We were also fortunate to see eagles, a bear, seals, and a mother deer with her babies!
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ketchikan. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Norman is a great local guide! You will see a lot and learn a lot! We saw salmon, eagles, a waterfall, a beach and totems! Norman tried hard to find a bear for us but it was high tide and that couldn’t be helped. It was a great time!
Norman was a fantastic guide who clearly cares deeply about Ketchikan. Not only did he have an extensive knowledge of the area & its history, but he went out of his way to help us see a bear (our dream!). We didn't see one the first time at Herring Cove so he took us back after another stop to return to the cove where we finally saw one! Highly recommend especially if you would like to support a true local business

Make sure you go with Rhianna she was amazing, very knowledgeable about the area, and we got to see bears. A great trip.
Very very over priced for what we did. The guide was extremely difficult to understand. I'm sure he was very knowledgeable about the area but no one on the tour could really understand what he was saying. I also felt that we were on a military mission being frogmarched around rather than on a guided tour. We were taken to a river where there was a possibility of seeing bears - we didn't, but the guide wasn't prepared to wait as he had his itinerary to stick to and so off we went to a most underwhelming waterfall that really should not be included in the tour.
Fantastic tour. Rihanna (sp?) was our guide and gave us a local’s perspective of Ketchikan and make sure we had a wonderful time. She is part of the Haida tribe annd regaled of with many stories of her family and people on the island. She even took us directly back to the boat so we could maximize our time in town.
Be prepared to hear life stories about the driver and sit in the parking lot. It was not a good tour at all.
Bear were to far away. What’s the point. Too crowded trying to get a small glimpse. Van was over booked making it very uncomfortable and being pushed off the seat into the window.

Shane was so accommodating after I accidentally booked the wrong day and got us in on the correct day. Rhianna was a fantastic guide with so much local info and lore. She even got us back to our ship so we didn’t have to wait in line forever. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend
It was great. Our tour guide spoke too fast and had a bit of an accent which made it hard to understand everything.
Our guide Rhianna was spectacular! She was determined to get us to see bears. We not only saw the bear we watched him take a salmon out of the stream.
It was great. The tour guide was hard to understand sometimes. He was very knowledgeable about the area. Yes I would recommend it. We saw a bear.
