What are people saying about Venice

Fantastic tour all around!! Highly recommend
Rachelay was a fabulous, passionate, and incredibly knowledge guide on our Venice trip and for local recommendations (restaurants, gelato, transportation, cool Venice novels, and other tour experiences)!! Cannot recommend this tour enough! Our tour guide peppered in great humor throughout our island tour and Venice history and natural surroundings day long lesson. If you can request a guide for Venice tours including this one, do yourself a favor and request Rachelay (my spelling is likely wrong but request Rachel in British English name if I misspelled Rachelay). She was lovely!!!

Book it!
We had the BEST time on this experience. Our guide was Enrica who was the best!!! Soooo knowledgable and easy to understand. Enrica took no time in getting to know everyone and made everyone feel at ease, she is down to earth and up for a laugh. Enrica really tried her best to cater to everyone’s preferences ( so don’t worry if you don’t eat meat). This was a great way to eat like a local and Enrica to the places she goes to which speaks for itself. All of the food and drinks was outstanding. Robbie at the deli stop had earned himself a mention, great and kind guy. We fortunately were paired with three others on our experience whom we all got on so great with and this certainly enhanced the experience, all we done was laugh and Enrica made us feel like part of the family. Would 100% recommend this if you’re in Venice for a short space of time. Next time we’re here we will certainly do this tour again! 100/10!

Stefani and the Dolomites were AMAZING!
Stefania was a true treasure! She shared so much knowledge throughout the entire day! The van was large and immaculate. The first two stops were outstanding - Cortina and Lake Braies. The third stop could definitely be skipped with 30 additional minutes being added to the Cortina stop and easily an additional 30-45 minutes at Lake Braies. We loved Cortina but you feel a bit rushed and Lake Braies is spectacular with options to walk around the lake, a solid hour moderate hike and/or row in boats on the lake. They also have outdoor eating venues with spectacular views. The food service is fast which helps although it is SO beautiful that you really want to enjoy and indulge in lunch, followed by the hike or a boat row. Doing both puts you in a pinch on time. Imagine being at a luxury ski resort for only 90 minutes or so! I believe everyone in our van LOVED the day a well as Stefania. You should know it is VERY mountainous driving with hairpin curves therefore if you are prone at all to car sickness you should prepare for the trip properly. You travel by van (we had a full size luxury Mercedes) which allows Stefania to drive the roads like a regular car - very different than driving by bus motorcoach. This tour is a MUST do without a doubt!

Super
We had a great time. The boat was comfortable and our guide Letitia, was very good, knowledgeable and was interesting to hear history of the lagoon and islands. The glass blowing display, although short, was awesome and my teen girls loved it (you don't take part in the display despite what description says). You have the option to buy pieces from teh showroom at 50% discount, I would say take the 50% with a pinch of salt, as the 50% looks like the real price to me anyway, that said we bought some nice pieces. Not much time in Murano before we headed to Burano, which was beautiful with coloured houses and we saw some lace display although really more about showing what shop sells, some if which was beautiful, then on to sample Buranese biscuits, really really good. After that and hour and a half to walk around island, probably an hour would do, you can get a small bite to eat. Then home on boat. Letitia was welcoming as spoke to us on trip, talking about her visit to wild Atlantic way on Ireland. Overall great, highly recommended.

Venice is no ordinary place. Crisscrossed by canals and myriad alleyways, this lagoon city has many must-see sights, from the Doge’s Palace to the Grand Canal, from plates of cicchetti to gondola boats. With so many visitors who come to see them, you can easily get caught up in the crowds. However, fear not because there are Venice tours that help you bypass the lines, sightsee responsibly, and experience the beauty of the city, too. Guided walking tours give the history behind the photo points, skip-the-line tours cut waiting times at popular sites, and home-cooking classes offer a taste of the local culture.
