What are people saying about Venice

A memorable experience.
It was fabulous tour. Our guide Sarah showed us all the hidden areas of Venice where locals eat at. She was very knowledgeable about history of Venice and different foods. She made us feel like we family. It was memorable to be able to visit area where locals do.

Fun tour
This was a fun tour. I enjoyed watching the glassmaking demo on Murano Island & Burano was beautiful. I wish we had a little more time on Murano Island however to check out the shops & see more of the island. Burano doesn’t take as much time to see it all.

It was so neat getting to see Murano and Burano! We really enjoyed getting to experience Burano. It was very lovely and we enjoyed having free time to walk around and explore. I will say that we did not get to explore Murano. We watched the glass blowing demonstration and had a little time to look in the glass shop and that was it for Murano. We did enjoy the boat ride and getting to learn about the islands.

Just as advertised and worth it!
Our guide was wonderful! The history she told was very interesting and important for a better appreciation of what we saw, especially at the Basilica. The tour of the Palace is longer and be prepared for lots of stairs and standing for a long time, but it was fascinating. The gondola ride was very nice, about 25 minutes through neighborhoods as well as the Grand Canal. There 4-5 people in a gondola so be prepared for that.

Venice is no ordinary place. Crisscrossed by canals and myriad alleyways, this lagoon city has many must-see sights, from the Doge’s Palace to the Grand Canal, from plates of cicchetti to gondola boats. With so many visitors who come to see them, you can easily get caught up in the crowds. However, fear not because there are Venice tours that help you bypass the lines, sightsee responsibly, and experience the beauty of the city, too. Guided walking tours give the history behind the photo points, skip-the-line tours cut waiting times at popular sites, and home-cooking classes offer a taste of the local culture.
