Murano and Burano from Venice - with Mrs.Gin
We had an excellent tour guide Mrs. Gin for this trip and it was amazing. The visit to the glass factory in Murano was worth seeing and also the various glass exhibits were extra ordinary. Also the visit to Burano’s amazing colored houses was so picturesque. Also, saw some lace making which was very minimal though. But just visiting the place was so nice. Now, talking about Mrs.Gin, she was a local and had amazing knowledge about Venice. So it was great to see and hear a lot of great stories from her about Venice. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Great Experience
Great experience with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Just the right amount of information to make things very interesting without feeling like we spent too much time at any one spot. Add details we would have otherwise missed if we had visited the sites in our own.

Beautiful church and good ceilings
Our tour guide was Sandra from city wonders. We had a 2 hour tour of Doges Palace and St Marks. It was enough time for us. Sandra gave us alot of information but it was all interesting. To me Doge Palace was all about the gold trimmed ceilings. They are magnificent but after a bit they all look alike. We spent at least an hour in there and then onto St Marks. What a beautiful church. If you need to sit this is not a good tour for you, not because of Sandra, but because there are no places it is allowed, not even in the church. If you don't do a tour make sure you buy your tickets in advance as they were sold out by 11am and it is early October.

Our guide, Martina, was...
Our guide, Martina, was amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to make sure the group had everything they needed. The stops were great and we saw areas of Venice we would never had found on our own. We highly recommend this! The best thing we did in Venice!

Venice is no ordinary place. Crisscrossed by canals and myriad alleyways, this lagoon city has many must-see sights, from the Doge’s Palace to the Grand Canal, from plates of cicchetti to gondola boats. With so many visitors who come to see them, you can easily get caught up in the crowds. However, fear not because there are Venice tours that help you bypass the lines, sightsee responsibly, and experience the beauty of the city, too. Guided walking tours give the history behind the photo points, skip-the-line tours cut waiting times at popular sites, and home-cooking classes offer a taste of the local culture.
