Top Temecula Day Trips

We built the only true 18 wheeler bus in the country. Our bus is as much a story as it is a product. We were a husband and wife team that wanted to see if we could come up with a fun, wild idea to offer a truly special wine tour experience in our beloved hometown Temecula. Years later we are still amazed that we get to do this every day! Our vision is that our guests cruise through the vineyards with as little separation between themselves and the warm sun, cool air, and sights and smells of the countryside as possible. Glass in hand, we want you to connect with your people. We don't want you to just take photos, we want you to immerse yourself in an experience that stays fixed in your memory bank, always. Original or nothing!

California’s best wines aren’t only from Napa—on this tour, you’ll experience the wonderful wines of Temecula across three of the region’s best vineyards. You’ll start the sipping at a boutique hotspot with great views, grab lunch at your second winery, and finish with live music and a production tour, where you can sample wines so fresh they’ve yet to be bottled. When in Temecula!

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience when you take to the skies above Temecula on this hot-air balloon experience. In the early morning, make your way to the departure point and watch as your balloon inflates to its full size. After check-in, hop aboard the basket and set off with your pilot. Soar over vineyards and rolling hills, can spot local landmarks as you go, and learn more from the pilot's commentary.

Drive Temecula Valley yourself, with a GPS audio guide that plays automatically as you go. Your booking unlocks the whole region in the free Wine Trails app: pick your date and starting point — Old Town Temecula on Front Street or Temecula Wine Country on Rancho California Road — choose the cellar doors you want, and the app builds your personal route with turn-by-turn narration. 37 narrated stories cover 19 cellar doors across Rancho California Road, De Portola Road and the Calle Contento trail: as you pass Callaway you'll hear how textile executive Ely Callaway founded the valley's first bonded winery here in 1974 and made his name with Chenin Blanc. No group, no schedule, no guide — pause for a long lunch, replay anything, and the audio keeps working when the signal thins out east of the vineyards.
