Wonderful day in Rotorua

We had such an amazing day trip to Rotorua! Even before the tour started, the communication was excellent. They had to reschedule our tour, but kept us updated the whole time and made everything so easy. Pickup was right on time, and the small group made the experience feel much more personal and relaxed. Jason was fantastic! He was so friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept everyone engaged during the drive by sharing interesting facts and even quizzing us along the way. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and every stop was worth it. We honestly loved every second of the day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New Zealand!

The staff were communicative, be prepared for some choppy waves(part of the exp for my mind) limited seating so if mobility is an issue potentially look at other options. Saw plenty of wildlife but know nothing is guaranteed. It is a long trip if you have small children have something to keep them distracted:)

Caves, Kiwi and Blue Springs are a Spiritual Experience

The Glowworms Cave experience is one of beauty and reverence. Our guide was informative, respectful and spiritual. This is an experience not to be missed. The Kiwi Hose was quant, and enjoyable. Our Driver came along with us and gave some interesting facts bout the birds we saw. Finally the Blue Springs was a lovely experience of pure nature which capped the day nicely. Now, a word of caution - be sure to check with your tour company about pick up times. Know that you will have only 20 minutes for a breakfast take away after 2 hours of driving. The same can be said for the Lunch time - which came at 3:30pm on our excursion. The entire day was 11+ hours as advertised.

I had a fantastic time exploring Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves with guide and driver Mike! He had amazing energy and enthusiasm during the tour, and he did a great job keeping us on schedule while providing entertaining stories and fun facts, even going above and beyond to provide advice about our own travel plans. Hobbiton was so adorable and the glow worm caves were awe-inspiring. Highly recommend!

Incredible Experience!

In March, we went on a tour to the Waitomo Caves with David, and he did everything to make the trip memorable and comfortable. On the drive over, he entertained us with interesting stories of history and science. We also stopped at a bakery that was great. For the actual caves, a different guide took us through, and the glow worm cave was simply out of this world! What an incredible experience! I did a fair bit of research in choosing which location to see the glow worm caves, and I am so happy with this choice! On the way back, David took us to the Fat Kiwi, which was a delicious lunch spot. As a driver and tour guide, he made us feel safe and well cared for during the tour. I would highly recommend visiting such an incredible spot with this tour company!

Beautiful tour! We had the best time and Ayla was an excellent guide. She gave us plenty of opportunities for pictures, she explained everything in great detail, and she was just super nice to boot! I highly recommend the tour. Also, the company notified me that they found my inhaler in their van (I hadn’t even noticed it was missing) and dropped it off at my hotel. What a great company!

Gem of a tour as not all tours will stop by the blue springs and Redwood Forrest in addition to the main attraction in Rotorua. Blue Spring ended up being my favorite part of the tour Actually as it was gorgeous seeing the long green plants flowing in the clear blue water. When I showed pictures to my friend he said it looked like AI because of how unreal it looked lol.

Had a magnificent day! Our driver Grant was friendly, gave interesting information about various locations on our drive, and had humorous stories to tell. Hobbiton was surreal and incredible. We were free to be as nerdy as we wanted and were encouraged by our tour guide. The geothermal location was a fascinating and scientific experience, but the smell of the sulfur and other fumes in the water made us wish to return to the Shire. Overall a wonderful day, highly recommend overall!

Pickup was on time and the driver (Ark) was incredibly friendly and well informed about local landmarks and history. We got there with plenty of time to browse the gift shop and have lunch before the tour started and enjoyed a scenic drive on the way back which also arrived with no delays. This tour was excellent from start to finish. Our guide, Ark, was absolutely incredible. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared so many interesting insights throughout the day that made every stop even more meaningful. We especially appreciated all the little extras he provided, snacks, water, helpful tips for each tour, and even fun quizzes along the way that kept everyone engaged. The tours themselves were amazing, well organized, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each location without ever feeling rushed. The pace was perfect, and we learned so much along the way. Highly recommend this tour, and if you get Ark as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!
