Although it did ended up raining halfway through the tour we had an enjoyable experience walking down and taking in the view at the Coromandel Cathedral. Our guide was also helpful in showing people where to dig and dip the feet’s at hot water beach to experience the hot springs the best

The gardens were immaculate, the hobbit holes were incredibly detailed, and every corner was picture-perfect. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative with stories and behind-the-scenes insights. Finishing the tour with a drink at the Green Dragon Inn was the perfect way to end the experience. Even if you’re not a huge Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan, this is a truly unique experience that showcases the beauty of New Zealand and the amazing craftsmanship behind the movie set. Bus tour guide, caves tour guide and Hobbiton tour guide were all great! Trip went smoothly and left and returned on time/early. Great itinerary glad we got to see both Waitomo and Hobbiton in one day as we were only here for a weekend. Included lunch was good too included a side and dessert. Bus was comfy and had wifi.

Heinrich, our driver and guide had a great personality and was very descriptive on the way to Hobbiton. Plus he arranged our tickets and was very careful to meet up with us after our tour. The tour of Hobbiton was terrific. What a beautiful farm with beautiful gardens and lush landscaping. It was done with a leisurely pace and our guide led us by the variety of Hobbit homes. He also explained how Hobbiton became a permanent part of the farm, which we thought was a stroke of genius on the part of the owner proposing a joint venture with Peter Jackson. It was beautifully done. The gardens, flowers and grass's, so meticulously maintained. The complete homes at the end of the tour were spectacular with so many incredible details.

We had a great time with Pippa, Alec and Olivia. The crew was quite friendly and the sailing was top notch. It was a windy day and the boat keeled over and glided effortlessly through the harbour. I would not hesitate to recommend. A true sailing adventure!

With a couple of extra days in Auckland I had asked on FB for recommendations on what to do. A couple of contributors replied that this was an absolute "must do". We duly booked it for the afternoon of our arrival. With glorious sunny weather it seemed we were all set for a memorable afternoon. Unfortunately when we turned up we were advised that due to winds it would not go ahead. Clearly safety was of utmost importance so gold star for that. We were offered the opportunity to receive a refund or to rearrange. Staff at the desk went out of their way to assist us. We were lucky enough to be able to rearrange and for the sail to go ahead. And it was certainly a memorable one for our last day in Auckland I think the yacht can take 30 passengers but i don't think there was a full contingent. The crew were friendly whilst at the same time being professional. Safety procedure were clearly explained to us. The crew explained the history of the yacht to us and engaged with us continually. There is an opportunity to actually help with crewing the yacht and it was certainly tempting to .join in. However we just took the opportunity to sit back and enjoy an exhilarating experience. It might not be the cheapest of experiences but we loved every minute and were so glad we did it.

This was an excellent tour of Auckland. We were very comfortable in a Mercedes Van and our guide, Danny, was very knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed his commentary. We had taken a previous half-day tour that went to a few of the same spots, but Danny showed us more at those sights that we had missed on our previous tour. We stopped at a lovely restaurant where we purchased wonderful, tasty dishes and enjoyed a beautiful view. It was truly an enjoyable day.

Perfect directions for the pickup at the port! Vans were very comfortable and had big windows. We had quite a few stops with lots of opportunities to take photos! Mike is very knowledgeable, funny, and was very attentive to a couple of older travelers. Loved the botanical stop with the glass houses.
