Please arrive at the ticket redemption point at Vicolo del Farinone 23 at least 20–30 minutes before your scheduled time. Your booking confirmation/voucher is not the official entrance ticket and must be exchanged at our office before the visit. Our staff will assist you with the ticket redemption process.
Entrance tickets are issued in the visitor’s name. Please make sure the name provided during booking matches the visitor’s valid ID or passport. Incorrect names may result in refused admission, and corrections may not always be possible after booking.
Reserved entry helps provide more organized access to the Vatican Museums but does not bypass mandatory security checks. All visitors must pass airport-style security screening, and waiting times may vary depending on crowd levels and Vatican security procedures.

A respectful dress code is required. Shoulders and knees must be covered, and visitors wearing unsuitable clothing may be refused entry by Vatican staff.
Children aged 0 to 6 enter free of charge. Please include them in the booking so that the visitor information is complete.
Visitors with a certified disability of at least 67% are entitled to free admission issued directly by the Vatican Museums and should therefore not book this product. For visitors who are not self-sufficient, free admission is also extended to one accompanying person. Valid disability documentation is required.
Visitors with reduced mobility should consider that ticket redemption takes place at Vicolo del Farinone 23 before entering the Vatican Museums. The Vatican Museums provide accessible routes for visitors with reduced mobility.
Access to specific galleries, rooms or areas may occasionally be restricted due to Vatican events, security requirements, maintenance or temporary closures. These changes are determined by the Vatican Museums and may occur without prior notice.
This experience involves walking from the ticket redemption point to the Vatican Museums entrance and extensive walking inside the Museums. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.
Large luggage, suitcases, oversized backpacks and other items considered unsuitable by Vatican staff must be left in the Vatican Museums cloakroom. We recommend travelling light and bringing only small personal belongings.
