I genuinely wish I could give this company ZERO STARS, because one star suggests that some level of acceptable service was provided.
I booked and paid for a private tour of Rome for 15 guests, expecting exactly that — a tour. Instead, two of the three drivers effectively acted as nothing more than buggy drivers. They provided virtually no commentary, no history, no explanation of the sights and no meaningful information about Rome whatsoever.
What made this even more unacceptable was that the third driver DID provide his five passengers with commentary and information throughout the tour. So while five members of our group received something resembling the experience we had paid for, the remaining ten were simply driven around Rome.
I even specifically asked for information to be given, yet nothing changed.
Afterwards, I contacted the company and explained what had happened. Their response was essentially that because we had been transported around Rome and the itinerary had been completed, they considered the service to have been properly delivered and refused compensation.
That response was astonishing. Driving tourists past famous landmarks is not the same thing as giving them a guided sightseeing experience.
I subsequently asked them to reconsider and provide a refund. They couldn’t even show me the courtesy of responding to that request.
For a company operating in one of the world’s great tourist cities, I find the whole experience disgraceful. We spent a considerable amount of money because I wanted to give my guests a memorable experience of Rome. Instead, the majority of them received an expensive buggy ride.
My advice to anyone visiting Rome and considering booking this company is very simple: DON’T.
There are countless reputable tour operators in Rome who understand that tourists are paying not merely to be transported from landmark to landmark, but to actually learn something about the extraordinary city they have travelled to see.
Based on my experience, I would never use this company again and certainly could not recommend them to anyone.

The tour was amazing and very convenient and informative. Andy was amazing and informed me on so much of the history in Rome. It takes up to an hour which is great and doesn’t take up the whole day

We were running a tad late for the start time. We tried to messge the operator several times and couldn't get anyone via message or when we tried to call. Finally someone (very rude) called and asked where we were and we said we would be there soon but wouldnt wait for us any longer. I asked if we could join at one of the many stopping points & said they would call back but didn't. They had many other times opent hat day and asked to just move to another time and even offered to pay a small adjustment fee but they wouldn't accommodate. We tried calling for almost an hour and got no answer so we could join the tour but radio silent. Lousy operator and rude staff. I would highly encourage everyone to avoid them. Many other options in Rome to choose from at a better price & service.

Joining an already departed tour at an intermediate stop or transferring a non-refundable booking to another departure cannot always be accommodated, as this depends on availability and operational logistics.

Very poor tour. Guide on phone, made us wait, driving and using phone. Couldn’t understand limited information he gave on sights. Didn’t use microphone consistently for family to hear. When asked to stop using phone, spent last 10mins begging not to say anything vs trying to give us a tour

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. Our tour was scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., but we received a call at 9:10 a.m. asking where we were. We explained that we were just minutes away and would arrive shortly. We reached the meeting point within a few minutes and waited, assuming they were simply trying to start the tour early.
At approximately 9:35 a.m., we received another call asking if we could rebook for a later time or the following day. Unfortunately, we had other plans and were unable to do so. This was the one tour our family was most excited about during our time in Rome, and we never got the opportunity to experience it. We were extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and the cancellation of a tour we had booked and arrived on time for.

Our Colosseum tour was canceled with very little notices, like a couple days. Everything was sold out at this point, so we did not get to see the colosseum. They also switched our time for the Vatican, making it impossible to go to the Colosseum during our short trip. Such an expensive trip to Rome to have to miss one of the biggest attractions.
I will say that our guide for the Vatican portion was knowledgeable and friendly.
We are suppose to get half the cost back from this expensive tour. Waiting to see how much that will be, I feel like it should all be refunded.

The tour by Sam was awesome. He drove very well and told us about all of the sites. He allowed us to stop several times to take pictures. Highly recommended the 1.5 hour express golf tour!!!!!

Tour did not go where it said on itinerary. We did not see Colisseum, forum, Spanish steps or Trevi fountain as advertised in itinerary. Driver said too much traffic. Took us to a farmers market instead. Was horrible.

First, Viator provided me with the incorrect meeting point address. The tour Operator wanted to blame Viatorfor the misinformation and today, two days after the tour, advised me they corrected Viator with the misinformation proving it was them, the tour operators fault Viator had the wrong information. Second, the driver had no itinerary. I booked an express highlights tour of Rome. First thing he asked was what did we want to see. When I said the Coliseum and the Pantheon he said no they were too far apart. . Was I suppose to pick the highlights? Thirdly, e were seated in rear facing seats. There was a rolled up vinyl partition hanging from the golf cart that blocked our sight. All we could see was fro the pavement up to the roof of the car behind us. I complained to the operator and they refused to make things right. I did not get what I paid for. I asked for a refund and they want to blame all on me.

We had already seen the Vatican, Trevi Fountain and Collesium on our own, but our golf cart guide (Artura from Luxurbe) took us to places in Rome we never knew existed. In 90 minutes he drove us (in a luxury cart) to a church with artifacts from the crucifixion, which was very moving during the week of Easter. He even drove us to the Presidents palace, Pantheon, Loyola church, various palazzos, fountains and the Spanish stairs. This was way more than we could have done in 1 day, let alone 90 minutes. Well worth the money. Oh, and did I mention I was in a walking boot with a broken foot? This was the perfect way to see the city with a disability!

The concept of the golf cart tour is good...it's a fun way to get around the city to see the sights. I booked our express tour for 5 ppl to start at 4:00. Within a few minutes of booking, the company called me to ask if we could move to the 6:00 pm time. We agreed. We were at the meeting location by 5:50. The guide, Simone, met us right at 6:00, and invited us to sit in the cart while waiting for 2 other guests to arrive. They arrived around 6:10, and then we started. Our guide was friendly, but didn't really share and information or history during the tour. He did say a few things along the way, but not what we expected from a certified guide. He told ne at the start of the tour that since we were in a large cart with 7 guests, he wouldn't be able to communicate with all of us as we drove, and that he would talk when we stopped. The description of this tour indicates headsets would be used...but they weren't. We stopped to take photos at the Roman Forum, Pantheon, and a beautiful church. We did not stop to take photos at the Colosseum, which was very disappointing. When asked if we were going to stop there, our guide said we couldn't because of traffic and because we were limited on time in the express tour. Yet, after driving past the Colosseum, we stopped at the Pantheon and the church. We concluded at the Trevi Fountain at 7:19. Our guide asked our preference-- to stop there and end a few minutes early, or stop there for pics and then return to Spanish Steps. We chose to stay at Trevi. The description states that the guide will take photos of the group. This was not offered, nor did we ask. Overall, my friends and I were disappointed in this experience...mainly because the guide didn't really share fun facts or information about the sights, and because we didn't stop for photos at the Colosseum. Simone was friendly. We just expected more from this tour. Earlier in the day, we had a 15 minute drive with an Uber, and that driver was happy to talk and share information as we drove. I wish this would have been a similar experience.

Since 2024, all of our golf carts are equipped with audio systems and headsets, ensuring that every guest—regardless of seat position—can clearly hear the guide throughout the tour.
Guides have undergone new training programs focused on historical storytelling, guest engagement, and consistency of information.
The Express Tour has a fixed duration, but we have updated the itinerary so that the Colosseum photo-stop is always included, except in case of certified police closures.
Our dispatch system has also been updated so that time adjustments and group combinations are handled more clearly and communicated in writing.

This was such a disappointment! our tour was scheduled at 2pm and at 1:50pm as we are at the meeting spot waiting to be picked up I received a message telling me the driver wasn't able to make it and we would have to reschedule for 6pm. I let them know that wasn't possible since we had to be back to the ship by 7pm and asked for a refund. To which I never got a response. They charged me for the tour I NEVER RECIEVED!!! If I could give negative stars I would.
